I recently brought six large boxes of donations—including clothing and handbags, some brand new with tags—to the thrift store, and was really disappointed by how I was treated. Both employees were surprisingly rude and unwelcoming. Considering these donations ultimately support the animals, I expected a more appreciative and helpful attitude. I regularly receive donation requests from Mary S. Roberts and have contributed financially in the past, so it was disheartening to feel dismissed when making such a substantial in-kind donation. A little kindness goes a long way—especially when it's all for the dogs!

Such a lovely place, everyone was so kind.
I had such a great experience visiting this thrift store! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. I especially want to mention the lovely woman who oversees the jewelry section—she was so kind. I complimented her jewelry, and she told me all about how she had gotten most of it for her recent birthday. It was such a sweet moment!
The store had a great selection of just about everything, and the prices were fantastic. I did notice some customers being difficult toward the jewelry lady—not sure why people feel the need to be that way, especially when she was being so helpful and kind. And, they were busy, for me that speaks volumes.
I did pick up a few great pieces to sell at my vintage store, and would have stayed longer if I hadn't had such a long drive ahead of me.
I love the cause this shop supports, and it really shows in the positive vibe of the whole place. I’ll definitely be stopping by again next time I’m in the area!

Typically I love it here but today I encountered Teresa. She was rude and unprofessional. She was literally arguing with me about pricing and how I should volunteer there if I was so concerned about the price being marked incorrectly. She even made a remark about how the price she wanted was only a dollar more than listed and they are non profit so they don’t need my extra dollar. I completely lost my cool and called her a couple females dog which she deserved. At the end of the day I will avoid this place like the plague, because miserable people like Teresa exist. She still took my money though, and I gladly spent it. Hoping it goes to the actual fur babies who deserve it and not to the female dog Teresa who acted with animal instincts instead of humanity.

So I came into this store and no hellos or how are you I have been here other times and boy that jewelry lady is so snobby and rude never smiling,I also noticed she was wearing a lot of rings it really bothers me when people work there for there selves rather than the cause,never any gold or much silver...hmmm wonder why she is probably a manager so she will get away with it ....anyhow avoid this place when she is around and donate your jewelry somewhere else where it will be sold for the real cause and not people who work there for them poor animals....

I had'nt checked out the appropriate age to neuter a Germán Shepherd puppy. These people neutered not only this prescious puppy but he was part of a litter of 6. I paid $350 to adopt him at 8 weeks old. Get it? weeks old. Now he is looking like he is 12 years old. Hi is only 3 years old.

I went to donate a ton clothing bags and interacted with a very rude employee (older lady) who didn't even care to look me in the eyes, she grabbed the bags and walked back inside without even saying thank you. It's unfortunate to try to do well and be greeted by an employee who makes it seem like a bad thing to donate. Will not return to this thrift store.
