Wow , an experience that left me thinking , how can people do this to each other. It started by looking at a pickup on the internet. I live out of state and this vehicle was what I was looking for. I called at 10:00 when the doors opened on a Sunday. I spoke to a salesman and requested a video of pickup. Aprox. Hour later he sent me the video. I returned call an expressed my interest and informed him that I was pre approved at my credit union. He stated he’d talk to sales manager and get back. Aprox 2 hours later he called, the sales person didn’t no what engine was in vehicle and other answers I needed. I was ready to end the deal so the salesperson then connected me to the sales manager , she answered my questions ,. I informed her I was pre approved , and my credit union would call first thing in the morning before doors opened. I asked her if I could give a deposit , on it so it didn’t sell. The final details were discussed , and I was gonna get my dream pickup. Sales person stated she could not take a deposit . She than stated that she’d be in at 8:45 in the morning , before doors opened. I again stated that I wanted it , and didn’t want it to sell. She than stated that they were only open for another hour and assured me the vehicle wouldn’t sell. I had been working with this deal all day. Then Aprox 30 minutes later I received a text from the sales manager sorry to inform you that someone walked in and had purchased the vehicle . I had booked a ticket , and was excited about my new pickup, guess doing the right thing is not part of her dna.

The sales staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The finance department is a little shady. They are looking for ways to jack the price up thousands of dollars above the MSRP. Telling you that they don't make a profit at that price. So, instead of losing just 10% of the vehicle value after leaving the lot, they want to add an additional 5 to 8 grand to your loss. It is almost criminal to treat a customer like a piggy bank to crack open.

I heard great things about this place so I went to go buy a 2019 Dodge Challenger. However, the experience from start to a month after my purchase, has been horrible. After viewing the car and going to the negotiating table, I was caught off guard as the vehicle (which was listed for $20k) was all of a sudden almost $28K!! One by one, I had to tell the salesman to remove all of the unnecessary add ons. After talking for some time, I told him that I would have to think about it, and the salesman literally threw my entire application in the trash right in front of me. But after having a change of mind, I went back and we had to start the process all over again. But anyways, after settling on a price, I went to the back office to finalize everything and I noticed the price of the car had *suddenly* changed to $20,995, when it was originally $20,000 flat. I had to call the worker out on it and he changed it back to $20k. I then noticed there was another charge of around $950 (not the security system) and I asked the worker if that was required and he lied to my face and said yes. It wasn’t until after that I noticed the “accessory” charge was completely optional. On top of that, after I got home, the car wouldn’t even start! They forgot to turn off the security system and I had to be on the phone for almost an hour with the security company in order to turn it off. I’ve had the car for about a month now, and the check engine light is on and the car’s already having problems! These people are scammers! Save yourself the trouble and find another dealership!

The service department really took care of our vehicle and my family. Even extended my rental car for me when the work was running behind schedule. They took care of all their mistakes and made everything right. I appreciate their service department and the courtesy they provided. Thank you, guys. They will be the next dealership I buy from.

I purchased a 2023 Ford Bronco from this dealer and was shocked how much they took care of me and made this hands down the best car buying experience. I live in northern California and they took care of all the paperwork, picked me up from the airport, brought the Bronco to me and communicated with me the whole time. Old school customer service. I highly recommend Raceway Ford. The Ford dealers by my house were not helpful and acted like I should be fortunate they were taking the time to look for type of Bronco I wanted and they wanted like 10% plus over MSRP. Raceway got me everything I wanted and nothing I did not want, did not pressure me to buy anything extra. Like I said old school customer service.

I would like to add if you are interested in doing internet deals, John Wachenheimer is the guy. Friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. As I said, this was my first internet deal and it's the only way for me. Thanks, Raceway Ford

Made an appointment on December 14th to see a low mileage high end used car there after driving a long distance. Arrived at the lot and salesman Juan contacted me after being there waiting for 20 minutes which had given me time to find all of the paint and graphics issues the $85k car had. After pointing out the issues with the vehicle, he did the old "let me talk to my manager" crap. Came back 2 minutes later and said the car was "as is" and nothing would be repaired. Then I asked if they would negotiate on the price to save money to fix the paint and graphics and was rudely told "No, as is condition". The biggest issue was the RUDENESS of both the salesman named Juan and his cohort. I was there to spend a large amount of money on a USED Ford product at a Ford dealer and was treated like garbage. Needless to say lost my business to a GM dealer JESSUP MOTORS in Cathedral City, where I found the same model year vehicle Ford product in much better condition. And at JESSUP MOTORS I was treated with respect the entire time. If you're looking for a vehicle buy somewhere else, RACEWAY FORD shouldn't even be in business. Attached is the Shelby GT500 I got from Jessup Motors, where the customer still matters and that got my business

This was the easiest experience at a car dealership I've ever experienced. Edwin is a top notch professional. He truly listens to what his customers are saying. No hidden agenda, no hidden fees or dealer "upsells" - just straight answers. I never felt pressured. Even at signing, no pressure. Quick and efficient process with the friendly people at Raceway. Great follow up after the sale, too!I 100% recommend Raceway Ford and Edwin Taboada for your next vehicle!
