Was assisted by a very nice gal named Zen. She helped me pick out two new perfumes and even offered to make me a sample of one that wasn't on display, but they had in the back. Very kind, warm aura. The store was slammed and understaffed, but she was very helpful and personable. I didn't come in all glammed up, and was treated like a friend and with Respect. Thank you Zen!

EDIT: I called the store to ask a question about redeeming a reward in store/doing a return-rebuy to use a coupon but the associate was not clear on what she said and wasn’t very nice. She said “you can’t use your coupon again because that promotion has ended. I said “there is a new coupon that’s different”. She said “that still won’t work”. I told her I was confused and she condescendingly said “how can I help you?”……. I asked her if she meant that I can’t use the coupon on top of reward. She said “yes, that’s what I was saying” with a bit of an attitude. I was a little defensive, so I said “ok, I just asked because I was confused”. Then she said “how can I help you” AGAIN!! Horrible customer service. Don’t work with people if you don’t have patience, manners, or people skills!!!
ORIGINAL: I’ve been going to this Sephora for years and the customer service is usually fine, but nothing worth reviewing until today. Iesha assisted me with the skin tone checker, foundation matching, and suggesting fragrances that I ended up loving. She is sooo helpful, patient, friendly and professional yet down to earth. Thanks to her, my experience was amazing!! Ask for Iesha next time you stop by!

Horrible customer service! Called to ask where the Riverside Plaza location was and the manager didn’t have a clue if they had a store there or not! Bad training!

I’ve been coming to this Sephora location for years thinking it will be different everytime, every single visit i have came they have zero in stock of my exact shade in all the brands i typically shop for and the staff are always talking to eachother and standing around do nothing rude, today i tried to use my gift card and left empty handed because apparently i never loaded $100 onto a gift card that i purchased at this exact location here last week and was told by the manager i had to “call customer service” so i just simply left i cannot be bothered to waste my time. I have had a VERY pleasant experiences at other Sephora locations so safe to say i will NOT be returning to this poorly ran nothing in stock location.

My Granddaughter has been getting her eyebrows waxed there for a few years. The girl she usually uses was not there so she used who was there (061224). Dear Lord!!! How did this girl get a job there. They should be ashamed of themselves. My granddaughter is very shy and non-confrontational. She was in tears when we met back up. unfortunately I went to run an errand while she went. A disaster!!!
But tomorrow, I will be there!!! This is not okay!!

I like Sephora but I feel like they need to hire better people. Went there to grab a foundation plus some samples. They are quite short staffed for a weekday and I was chasing this one lady down who appeared to be "out of it," if you know what I mean. She looked older, short, brunette, and had her hair in a ponytail. I was asking her for a stock check and she gave off the vibe that she did not want to be there. She gave brief, curt answers to my questions and would not even try to elaborate why or how. As someone who works in retail at the Tyler mall itself, Sephora needs to be teaching their employees about professionalism in the workplace. It doesn't matter how bad your day is; you're still going to be put together and not take it out on the customer. The guy at the register was really nice, I just wish that other employees can extend that same attitude of helpfulness to their customers instead of walking around ignoring people. Maybe she's just a bad apple, because the other day I was here everyone was very eager to help not just me but others despite them being short staffed. I hope she's not a manager or anything because that reflects on the company poorly.
Other than that I think this Sephora is the cleanest out of the ones I have been to. The foundation bottles are messy and caked but not to the point where you don't even want to touch them (ex. Sephora at Americana at Brand). Some testers are missing but I'm assuming that's due to shrink.

This Sephora location is a good place to start experimenting with your beauty regimen and parfum collection, but they tend to be more expensive with fewer sales than ULTA across the street, which generally has a greater selection as well. Service is good, but again, the mall layout can get congested with inconsiderate people in aisles, leading to employees following you due to shrinkage... I understand, but there are better ways to care for customers and their bottom line.

Was there yesterday 4/14/24 since they close the mall early at 7pm the workers are all rushing, they don't give you the undivided attention you request because they want to get everyone out and close. It was 6:00pm I asked a worker for help she was sweeping the floor, and she just went like ugh.. helping me without really wanting to. Everything else was good but I don't think they should have that type of attitude towards customers just because they want to close and leave.

Emma was wonderful!! I have extreme excema and went in looking for a moisturizing concealer, and they were SO helpful. They made tons of recommendations and explained the differences between products so well. When I had decided which one I wanted, they did a color match on me and made me feel very confident with my choice and with myself. Afterwards, they sent me a sephora email with skincare recommendations which I was so grateful for. I left feeling wonderful, and I love my new concealer! Thank you Emma <3 Zen, my cashier was also amazing :)

Honestly horrible customer service from a girl that is more pale then white she was rude and rudely told me what did I want when all I wanted was someone to help me. I don't understand why you guys hire people like that.
