Always a great shopping experience. Efficient and friendly staff. When the lines are long and it gets busy, they don’t hesitate to open up more lines to avoid making people wait. Fresh produce, great meats, reasonable prices.

This happened today:
Stopped at the Stater Bros on Alessandro today after work for dog food and ingredients to make crab bisque soup. But, you know how it is, you see other stuff you need so an hour and two cartloads later, I’m checking out and at this point I actually asked for someone to help me out. The young man bagging my stuff said “of course I’ll help you”. Had to be maybe 19 years old. Before we leave the store I realize my eyeglasses are missing. I tell the checker and the bagger, Drake, and they alert other staff and the check lost and found. Nothing. So I start walking the entire store again (this is a huge store) and I searched on the floor and shelves up and down every aisle. Go back to get my groceries and Drake said he was also searching all the aisles. Go out to my car and I’m ready to drop from exhaustion and the heat and I asked Drake if I could just stand and watch. He said “oh, go sit in your car with the AC on, you do not need to stand here while I do this”. He loads everything in my trunk and as he walks past me he paused and said “have a good night”. I look in the bottom of one of the carts and there are my glasses! Tried to give him $20 as a tip and he refused it. Ugh. I don’t know WHY we cannot tip people when they help us. And he said he also cannot accept tips. I got home and called the manager of the store to tell him everything Drake did for me and how much it meant. Now most of you probably live near your family members, I do not. Other than my kids close by I have nobody. Everything I’ve done I’ve had to do alone with no family support or advice. Therefore, I’m always beyond grateful for help like this.

Based on my personal experience/opinion this got to be fake rice. Bought Golden Star Jasmine rice and it's not real rice but some unknown substance that was cut in the shape of rice. You can even see how similarly grains are cut at the same angle.
????
Crazy world we are living in. Stores are filled with GMO counterfeit produce and now even
fake rice.
P.S. In one theory it looks like manufacturer is taking low grade rice, making rice mash out of it and remaking it in the shape of rice that now appears uniform/premium. God only knows what else they add to it in the process.

Clean well stocked store. Maybe not the lowest prices but inline with other major retailers. As eith sll others, prices keep going up.

Love this location , always had the best produce and the staff is always so great. Parking is never an issue and overall just the best. Wish staters bros had Starbucks inside but that's just me being bougie beggars can't be choosers
