I ordered two go anywhere high back chairs and only received 1. Initiated an investigation through UPS who said they delivered the only package they received. Called west marine sat on hold for over 30min just to be hung up on and when I called back the store was closed. Called the next day and was told that they sent out two chairs so there is nothing they can do. Very frustrating when no one wants to help.

great store for your vessel and marine needs. they were hospitable when the cost guard auxiliary was hosting and doing free vessel exams and check ups that weekend.

As new boat owners, we thought that West Marine would be like the Auto Zone but for boats. Totally wrong! Literally, they are an accessory store and no one there really knows how to find actual boat parts. You literally have to know the exact part number you need (which should be their job) in order to get anything useful out of them. The employees are really nice, but the store itself is 100% useless if you work on your own boat mechanically and want to find the actual parts to work on your boat.

Arrived at the store only to find a sign on the door" back in 30 minutes". There were three customers waiting and a fourth one arrived . When called the number repeatedly someone finally answered and says " I'm at lunch. I'm the only one here and I'll be there in 10 minutes." We advise that there were people waiting and she seemed to not care. We left.
