Took my deposit to replace a carpet and repaint an apartment that had no damage. Taking them to small claims court now.

I would not recommend this complex based on the amount being charged for rent.1. No property management on site and I've only been able to correspond via text.2. One assigned parking spot street parking is terrible.3. They may have recently stopped pest control efforts because my apartment as well as the surrounding area is full of spiders.4. Frequent issues with the few amenities they offer, including the mail lockers.5. While I'm in one of their upgraded units, the materials used were poor and you can tell no care was done when it was put together. There is hair from the previous tenant painted over on all the walls.6. Single pane windows.7. Dog poop everywhere.8. Ground maintenance is lacking right now. Pine needles are causing a slipping hazard on all of the stairs!I wasn't planning to renew but they are raising the rent by $250, this 2 bedroom 2 bath isn't worth even close to $2800.

Overall this place looks nice and has a good layout. The biggest problem with this place is homeless trespassing happening here on the Daily. My car has been broken into here 2 times and my 1-year lease is not over. At night and early morning, there are homeless people wandering around up to no good. There is no security patrol. There have been other units that had their patio items stolen as well. They upcharge any services that would normally be included with other apartments such as parking spots and premium parking spots. The apartment staff is completely Remote good luck getting any support. At one point the entire Apartment complex Electricity went out in the evening for 8 hrs while the surrounding complex had power and no communication from management.

I've never lived in an apartment complex where I was scared to even go get mail alone. 0/5 stars, please live anywhere else but here and search up the crime here before moving. I made the mistake of not searching it up and suffered tremendously.

Look way better than what it actually is! I've never lived somewhere that has gardeners come 3x a week. Roof installation is taking months to finish and the pool rarely gets cleaned and the management are barely here.

I came here to view a few units as I'm looking to move. I came with my son at around 330 pm nobody was in the office except the nicest maintenance man ever! He really did try to help. He explained to me vaguely as best as he could for something that isn't his job .. I went and found the units with my son who has a walking issue with one of his legs so we drove since they were far back only to discover this complex has ZERO guest parking and not like it was full like they literally took out the guest parking all together and NONE OF THE UNITS come with parking you have to pay for a spot, a carport or a garage no matter what you are paying to park your car there regardless if you move in. Anyways since I'm not a tenant I parked in front of the garage with my hazards on all the way in the corner and I could see from the window in case anybody was trying to get in I could run down and move in the 3 minutes we were inside the unit a Karen came running out of her apartment calling the office to have my car towed .. when I found another maintenance he stated it was fine to park there I told him which unit I was headed to next and he said I could park in front since it was quick .. I did just that since nobody takes u on a tour you do it yourself which is really weird considering you can attempt to walk in accidentally to any apartment .. anyway we get to the last unit it's on the 3rd floor I park and a man comes running out of here he tells me his wife is on her way and she needs to park there I explained I would be one second to which he didn't give a f .. I asked if he knew were I could park or what spot would be for that unit and he said none of them CUS YOU HAVE TO PAY YOUR APARTMENT DOESNT COME WITH A SPOT .. absolutely wild anyway I moved again maintenance came back and watched my car and directed me to the unit. Seems like the older heavy set maintenance man is the only one who works at this place or knows anything .. but regardless I wasted a ton of time going on this self guided tour, I didn't get any questions answered until I left and then found out parking is extra .. parking your car.. is extra anyways it's not the spot for me clearly. I wish I could put zero stars. If u don't have a car or if u like to pay extra for things that are as basic as a parking spot this is the place for you!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Since my review on Google was mysteriously deleted, I will put it on here instead. Pros: Angela, the manager is the BEST! She will go out of her way to assist you as best as she can. The sad part is that she's no longer there. Mike, the maintenance groundskeeper is also amazing! If I had any maintenance requests, he would fix them within 24 hours. Cons: I NEVER felt safe here so I am glad to have moved out. Someone got shot recently in the complex so authorities had to obviously be notified. They sent a notice out to everyone. Parking is atrocious. They say they have designated parking, but on two occasions, I've had to call towing since someone was illegally parked in my spot. It is extremely inconsiderate coming from work after a long day and finding someone parked in your own spot that you pay for. The walls are thin so you'll hear neighbors slamming doors, talking, having parties and the list goes on. People also speed in the parking lot and don't care about others' safety. I've driven through many times and folks driving will randomly stop in front of you without putting their flashers on. The front office is NEVER there. The office is closed 24/7 and you can only communicate with them through their text line. Yes it may be convenient for some, but there are times in which you need to address concerns face to face. If you live facing the street right on Sycamore Canyon, it's like a freaking war zone. You'll hear all the cars NON STOP, racing, honking, trucks, etc. No amount of blinds will block the noise. I am glad to have moved out and if you value your safety, DO NOT move here! You will hands down regret it and believe ALL of the bad reviews!

Office staff provides poor customer service I have reached out to corporate office due to the non response from on-site staff on three different occasions. The apartments are beautiful inside but materials used is poor quality my floor title had to be redone four months after moving in due to tiles lifting then team had to come back out on two other occasions for same issues. The parking is poor and cars are broken into. Due to the lack of onsite management the parking lot is unattended and has broken down cars parked. I actually had to call the office multiple times due to abandoned car left for a few weeks with broken out windows in front of my building. If you drive the complex you will notice cars parked on flats, cobwebs underneath with trash and non operating.Due to the no response I have accumulated unnecessary fees. Please think twice before renting here

The leasing process was so easy and fast and all was online. Didn't need to meet anyone or waist anytime. The customer service are amazing. Looking forward to moving in this month!!

If I can rate this community with zero stars I would! I have moved into this community 3 months ago with my children and I would like to start off with if you're looking for a safe community this is not it. If you're looking for caring staff this is not it! If you're looking for a great move-in experience this is not it! My car has been vandalized 3 times within 3 months of living here and management and the community director is very dismissive. They advertise courtesy patrol but I only seen them twice since I moved in and when I call I'm always sent to voicemail. The community is not gated and I was aware of that but the fact I can reach courtesy patrol has saddened me. Especially because I spent majority of my time here fearing for my safety. My car tags has been removed, my car was vandalized by living feces rubbed all over my vehicle and my gas tank being Pried open! (Attached photos) when I moved in the apartment it was completely dirty from the vents to the floor to the cabinets not having handles. 3 of the doors are patched from previous residents and my appliances were dirty and did not match. (Attached Photos) there is so much suspicious activity! I voiced my concerns and the community director did not help at all. I'm not allowed out of my lease. With all of the issues I have occurred they will not let me transfer at the same rate for safety and I'm not allowed to move my parking spot to avoid my car being further damaged as I'm being targeted. Please do not move here! If so at your own discretion but I highly would not recommend! They are very nice until you move in then they don't care about the residents. The customer service is truly horrible. **I would like to add that the company responded to my review with the one thing they are not responsible for but what about all the other things that they are responsible for as in a move-in experience, the apartment being clean, me being charged for amenities that I do not have and courtesy patrol not being present or the ability to reach them. I wish I can give this apart negative 5Do not rent this apartment or you never can have guest here because there is no parking.I came here to visit my family and parked on open parking spot and they towed my car away and I end up paying 341$ from my pocket.the parking didn’t have any sign on it either.I lived in this apartment in 2017 and someone stole my car tires and I went to leasing office they said they are not responsible for that and cannot do anything.Please be careful if you want to lease this apartment

Treat us like Family, going on 4 years now. We renewed our lease twice.. Love us some windermere They have Security Patrol, Beautiful Amendities ? ? and Love The neighborhood watch !!!!!!! Lived here for over 3 years and can honestly say it was a great time. Never had any issues with management. Good community & neighbors. It wasn't anything fancy, but it also wasn't anything trashy. Most appartments are newly remodeled now which is nice. Windemere was a great home and I'll miss living there.

I have been living in Windemere at Sycamore Highlands for more than 10 years. Ii is a nice place to live at. Very professional staff, very good service when required. Everything is so close for shopping, biking, the new gym is great for everybody who likes good health.

I called to inquire about an available unit and the corporate leasing agent was not informed on the properties amenities. I spoke with someone else and was told that a garage was included with the apartment (which was a huge selling point for me) and then I received a text saying that was actually not the case and it was an additional fee. I accepted that and then received another text later saying that garages are unavailable and I would need to be put on a waitlist.Management is clearly disorganized and uninformed, I would really hesitate to rent from a complex like this if you are searching.
