I got a check for 1400 $ and went to cash it on my brake and they would not cash it unless they call and verify and this is one of those days that I have to take care of the bills and they won’t take the I don’t have they money since bank couldn’t talk to the person who wrote the check and this is very Not acceptable. I can’t come to the bank till Friday and that’s just not convenient at all .

We switched to Five Star several years ago after becoming disenchanted with our old bank. Five Star has restored our faith in banking....at least in this bank. They have fantastic customer service, employees who care and are very helpful. They have met every need that we have presented to them. I see a long and mutually beneficial relationship between our business and Five Star Bank!

Worst bank for business, they refused to accept the PPP questionnaire, saying that they value customers who pay them more.

Would not recommend! Refused to help us through these very tough time claiming they help only "current" customers and we don't have very much money in our account. HORRIBLE!

Fivestar Bank has been a fantastic partner for us as a Real Estate Investment company. Once we were established with Fivestar, they partnered with us on an office building in Auburn, then single family homes in the Sacramento area and now Mobile Home Communities all over the USA. They have financed communities for us in Kansas, Illinois, Georgia, Alabama and California. Our banker, Jason Hartmann, is adept at understanding key issues for loan approval. Once they provide a pre-commitment....we have been able to count on them every time to deliver at the closing table.

This is a fantastic commercial bank with a small company touch. Since they are local, the employees really get to know the customers and try to personalize services for each company's needs. I can see sometimes people have had issues, but since they are a commercial bank primarily working for businesses, that banking is slightly different. I like that they are diligent at protecting businesses with how rampant fraud is know in days. A truly great bank with personalized services! Iv been to Rocklin (now Roseville), Natomas and Rancho - love them all!

Over the years I have had many banking relationships. However, none like Five Star Bank. For more then 5 years, it's been truly refreshing to work with a bank built on trust and personal relationships. The staff is outstanding. Mike R. and Jen M. have been excellent at answering all of our questions and great at expediting all matters, which make banking easy and simple. I've worked with Five Star on many different projects, some simple and some very complex. Their depth of knowledge in business and real estate in our community is unparalleled.
