I had my hair cut by George a while back, and I’ve been trying to make it work ever since — but the regrowth has been awful and the shape is just completely wrong. I asked for layers, and somehow ended up walking out looking like Billy Ray Cyrus. Not exaggerating.
What really bothered me was how George treated me during the appointment. Before me, I watched him cut a man’s hair — he was friendly, polite, and seemed to listen to everything the man asked for. Then I sat down, and it was a completely different experience. He didn’t take me seriously, dismissed what I wanted, and even refused to take off more length for the layers I asked for. I left feeling really deflated.
On top of that, he spent the appointment undermining not just me, but his own coworkers — making comments that felt unprofessional and unnecessary. The energy was just off.
Definitely would not go back

Huge shout out to Misty. She helped me shave my head and save my hair to donate before I lose it to chemotherapy. Misty, thanks for all the giggles on what could be traumatic for most women.

Ebette at Great clips cut my daughters hair perfect and was very friendly and professional. All the staff made us feel comfortable and are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend and will be taking my daughter back!

Will never go back to great clips ever again after today the girl who did my hair had no experience did not even listen to what I wanted a pixie cut kept asking another employee if she was cutting my hair correctly when she completely ruined it

Awful! When the hair dresser I was wanting to see wasn’t in, I went with another person and the picture speaks for itself. There were customers waiting so I just let it go instead of embarrassing the owner and customers. The stylist wanted to rush through me to get to the waiting customers before her competitor in the station across from her could get them. More customers = more tips and my very thick hair would’ve taken too long to do something nice with. She said cutting my hair was “shearing a sheep”. She snickered after asking me my height after I said the chair was too deep and my legs too short. This is pretty much how it goes no matter which chain I go to. My sister who was seeing another stylist got a very nice shampoo and cut. Luckily my hair grows fast so in a couple of months it won’t look so bad. Better luck next time and with maybe a proper hair salon which costs more but might do a better job. You can compare my cut and my sister’s cut. It’s night and day.
