My fiancé came here to pick up a herb chicken mediterranean , and we wanted to add mushrooms to one side of the pizza since my son doesn't eat mushrooms. He gets home and the entire pizza is covered with mushrooms. He walks in the door, and tells me we're going to have to move the mushrooms to the other side of the pizza, because they messed up. UM OK... you know people make mistakes, it's okay. So as I'm moving all the mushrooms to the other side of the pizza, I realize that the entire pizza is covered in bacon. Since our household is Pollo-pescatarian's we don't eat pork or beef. What do we do after paying so much money for a family sized pizza? We have ordered this particular pizza numerous times. Honestly you don't have to be Einstein to understand "add mushrooms to half" or memorize a few pizza recipes. When I asked him which Papa Murphy's he went to, and he told me this one. I was surprised he went here, this restaurant has messed up our pizza almost every time we've ever ordered here. Now I have to cook dinner. Really?!

Daughter ordered a cheese pizza with extra cheese. The smart a$$ at the counter snidely stated there is no altering pizza orders. Another young guy added the extra cheese and Mr. Congeniality actually grabbed a handful off of the pizza and threw it back in the cheese bin. Daughter called the next day and spoke to a manager who gave an obligatory apology, but that was it. No discount for our next order, nothing!

Every time we go here there is a new level of trying to be cheap. One time there were hardly any toppings on our pizza. This time, they couldn't even fill the pizza to the crust with cheese. Ridiculous. I've also gone and and ordered in person and the order I recieved was completely different. I was the the only one in the store. Not sure what's going on here.

I placed a big order while my fiance and I were at work. We planned to pick up within a half hour but time just got away from us. I was worried this store would close before we could get our pizza so we rushed over. The lady who was closing was so nice and glad we showed up to pay for our order. She was so polite and friendly, even 20 minutes before closing. I feel awful for showing up so close to the end of the day but I'm impressed with how great everything was.

The New York XL is the greatest pizza they have, in my opinion. I would pay twice the price for this pizza. Please don't ever discontinue the New York XL.

After a night at Sun Splash, we stopped by Papa Murphys 2 minutes before they were closing. I didn't know this going in. The woman working was so nice and insisted I still order and that she was happy to do it. The service was quick and she was very friendly and polite.

Called our pizza order in for Halloween around 330pm. Nice guy said it would be a 45 min wait. Showed up about 445pm and the line was out the door, into the parking lot. I think we waited about an hour before finally getting in the door. It was insane. The employees were working really hard and quick to make sure they were making pizzas and closing orders as quickly as they could. People were very very angry that their orders were not made in time. Granted, they could use a better process however how they handled themselves that day was awesome given the circumstances. Even though people were angry, being very derogatory they all kept their composure and smiled while doing their best. That is the example most of us should follow. Hopefully in 2018 they will be more prepared for the craziness they can expect.

Worst Papa Murphy's location purely due to poor ownership IMO. I go out of my way to other locations because I don't want to give them my business. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I have been frequenting the Rocklin location once a week for the past five years with no dissatisfaction regarding the food quality or customer service, until now. I'm not sure if the store is under new ownership or management, but these past six months have just been one disappointing pizza after another. The crust of the family size doesn't reach the rim of the tray anymore, and the toppings, particularly the cheese, are so sparse that there's very evident bald spots, down to the crust. Just today, I asked an employee to add more cheese to a spot on the pizza where there was nothing showing but a thin layer of sauce dressing the crust. She handed it off to another employee and told her to put "base cheese" over it, i.e. cheese that has no spices or herbs mixed in, after which the employee sprinkled a pinch of mozzarella over the spot. I wanted to believe that the problems were a matter of new employees learning the craft, but now it's clear to me that is a matter of management skimping on toppings just to pinch pennies. This incident was the last straw for me and I don't plan on going back to this location any time soon.

Well I walked in the store, no one knew what they were doing. Employees need to be more trained in hand washing and changing gloves after making pizza. Tried to talk to the manager but she didn't understand English. I don't think I'll go back to this store again.

I WAS (past tense) a regular customer. Today I received a 50% off email from Papa Murphys with a coupon code of E50. I went online to order in advance but after about 10 frustrating minutes of punching in my username/password they don't have a record of my account. Now, how do they send me promotions to my specific email if they don't have my record?? So I spent another 10 minutes or so re-registering for a new account which was also full of frustration because they don't tell you the password requirements in advance and one has to punch in all the repetitive data first only to find out you have to do it all over again because the password did not meet guidelines. Finally, after another 10 or 15 minutes (25 total) of frustration the website indicates the order was accepted and the discount is applied at the time of purchase in store during pickup. At pickup, the store clerk who later identified himself as Brian Silva said the pizza was $11 which is their everyday special price. When asked about the online discount of 50% to be applied he asked to see it on my iPhone email (which I showed to him). He then said there was no discount and that such discounts had to be done online for online orders. I said that it WAS done online otherwise, they wouldn't have known what my order was since I didn't give my order in person just now!! Well, he didn't care because his computer showed the price was $11 regardless. No, it is not the few dollars I complain about. Rather, it is the blatant misleading advertising and rebuke of good customers, absolutely no desire to make things right, and the potential aggravation of other customers who would experience the same frustration when responding to 50% off advertising. The company ads were not being honored and this is apathy at its core. The name given as the store manager was Ronnie Manders who needs to address these poor business practices. The company corporate offices also needs to address their advertising issues.

Not sure if it's my imagination...but it seems like the toppings are much skimpier than before...not sure if this is a cost cutting thing, but this time when I picked the pizza up, I was surprised how lite it was...

Extremely disappointed in this location. Have been going here for over 15 years. The last few months the service and pizza have been lackluster. First, it started with them missing toppings on the combo pizza. Then not making my pizza when I called in or making the wrong pizza when I called in. I went tonight and realized the pizza barely has any cheese when I got it home. This will most likely be the last time I give this location a chance. (which honestly has been too many chances)
