I have been going to petsmart for grooming my dogs give or take 2-4 visits a year for my 4 dogs over the last 18 years. This weekend my dog was denied a grooming due to his bad teeth. The groomer Brianna said because his teeth were bad she was refusing to service him at all, no bath, no cut, no nails, nothing. He has had bad teeth for the last 5 years and I have never been denied grooming by any of the 4 salons in my area that he has been groomed by. My last dog past away at 15 she had lost most of her teeth and was never denied service. Mace is a 7 year old Maltese and needs regular cuts, baths, nails. After being a loyal grooming customer for 18 years I'm very saddened to say I will not be returning for any needs. I was able to get Mace groomed at 1 of your competitors the same day and the groomers there agreed that his teeth is not a reason to refuse service. He is healthy and very well tempered dog that is calm and mellow while being groomed. After leaving Petsmart Rocklin CA location I tried to book an appointment at a different Petsmart location with a groomer he had just seen a couple months ago and found the manager BLOCKED my booking access. I'm not sure what they have against me or my dogs but I have never been treated so poorly.
To top it off I was told my 2nd dog whom they did agree to service would be done in 30 minutes promising to call when she was finished, after waiting and doing some shopping 45 minutes later i walked into the grooming area to get the slip so I could pay for her service while they finished up I found Brianna grooming another dog and she stated Mylie was done and I said oh I never got a call I've been in the store waiting for her call she stated I was just about to call you. Even though she already started servicing another dog.
I know Petsmart is a business and loosing 1 customer won't effect your bottom dollar but if this groomer continues to treat long time loyal customers I promise I won't be the only or the last to take their business elsewhere.

I pre paid for dog training here, and ended up cancelling and forfeiting my investment. I found the trainer to be ineffective. Now, he does know what he's doing, but the majority of the private session is lecture and no practical application. I just can't learn that way! He also made a remark THREE separate times about my dog not being pure bred (although he IS purebred, but what does it matter) and how he's a "weird looking dog". I came here for training not for his opinion on my dogs breed or my dog being mixed ? Like, how rude is that ?! I never asked for his opinion on my dogs looks. I paid for dog training that's it.

Grooming Salon- This store had the RUDEST groomers and the worst customer service. It made me not want to shop at PetSmart mart anymore and I spend about $200 a week there normally. I filed a customer service complaint. I swear if I don't hear back I'm never shopping at any of their stores again. Here is what happened: I had an 8 am grooming appointment for 3 dogs. I got to PetSmart at 7:55 and waited and waited at the grooming salon. There was no one there. At 8:20 my mobile phone rings and it's a woman and she says you had an 8 am grooming appointment. And I said I know! I'm here!! She said "where?" I said "I'm in the salon but no one is here!" She said "Where? In Rocklin?" And I said "no, I'm in Roseville" I was thinking crap, I drove all the way to Roseville when Rocklin is closer! I said " Ok, I'll be right there!" It's 10 minutes away. She said "You missed your appointment and we're booked. We don't have time." And she hung up. I had three dogs. How did they suddenly not have time. She didn't try to work with me. Didn't offer to do two of the dogs. Didn't offer an alternate time. She was curt/rude. The people at Roseville were very nice and tried to make it work. But a male groomer there grabbed my great Pyranees' ear and she threatened him and he said "I'm not able to groom your dog because it's unsafe for me". She's been there three other times and they groomed her. I think the PetSmart groomers are young, inexperienced, are paid a salary and not based on how well they do or the number of dogs they groom and honestly don't really care about their jobs. That is the impression I get anyway. I'm done there. While Iv'e been writing this, I've been on hold with their customer service for 34 minutes and counting. They suck.

I came here yesterday for the first time my cats were out of dry cat food and so I came here with a mission of finding my cats cat food. I was surprised when I saw the price was 1979, which normally for the 5 pound bag of neutral cat food it runs over $24 so to see it for $19.79 was definitely nice when I went to the cashier I warmed her that I saw a sign that said 1979 and she said it should ring up at that price well it wasn't so she went over and checked it and took a picture of it and said it was for the 3 pound bag. I informed her I looked for the 3 pound bag of dry cat food and could not find it and that if it's in that spot it should be honored for the price so she called over the manager. The manager says unfortunately we do have to honor it unfortunately? I was thinking of myself if it's in the wrong price it should be honored for that price, I've worked retail over 20 years and depending on the item and how much it is you have to honor it if it's under $10 so the manager cut me off her when she said unfortunately why should it be unfortunately it should be if it's in the wrong spot, it should be honored for The price has showed that's one of the reasons for my four star review because I didn't think the managers should make the comment. Unfortunately no manager if it's in the wrong price on it for that price that's common sense it's not like it's coming out of your pocket which these companies act like it does when it really doesn't. The establishment itself was nice very wide selection of items to choose from. I even found some my dogs, favorite wet food here on my visit, the visit here was nice except for the manager making the comment. I thought it was really uncalled for it should've been kept herself other than that my experience here was very nice with a lot of great things to choose from for your furry friend. They don't have items for your dog. They have items for fish and much more if you're thinking about adding a little addition to your family, whether that be a hamster or whatever I would highly recommend that you check out petsmart.com before you go in so you can have an idea of what you're looking for. Thank you Petsmart in Rocklin I wish you wouldn't question your customers like that and make the comment unfortunately because that made me very uncomfortable not sure if I wanna come back to this location. I might just make the effort and drive to Roseville next time since they don't make inappropriate comments management should really take this under consideration they should not make comments like that in front of a paying customer

Koaleen is our regular groomer and she is always kind and caring with our doggies and is especially gentle with our senior dog. Koaleen does a beautiful groom and our pets are excited and happy to visit the salon and come home clean and beautiful.

Groomer Talia did amazing handling my GSD first spa visit. Answered all questions and listened to my instructions and concerns for my dog. Will be back!
