Don’t ever go to this quest… it’s small and dirty and the guy that took my blood didn’t use hand sanitizer and only one glove to take my blood. I have gotten my blood drawn too many times to count and this was the worst experience I ever had. The man that helped me was an older Asian man i did not get his name, when he went to draw my blood he hit a nerve and the pain went all up and down my arm and when I told him it hurt he proceeded to ask me if this was my first time and if this was my first pregnancy and that I would need to get over it as I would need to get my blood drawn way more. I told him I have had my blood drawn many times and that it usually doesn’t hurt. He proceeded to tell me it was my veins being really deep and that it doesn’t hurt that bad. I was so upset that I told him not to bother trying again and I left. I have never had such an unprofessional experience with a medical professional in my life. I hope he gets fired. This was on 1/2/24 at 2pm

Had a great experience today at this Quest. Just had a baby this week-I’m super tired and aggravated and when I arrived to get a bilirubins test for my daughter they said they don’t specialize in it and I would have to go across town- but J.R helped us and even though I didn’t have an appointment he took me right away and did my daughters test wonderfully. Only quest I would go to in town is this one! Been here several times and always in and out!

The new staff here is SO SLOW!! JR was so nice and good and quick. Now you wait forever and the staff is not personable at all. Slow is putting it nicely! The waiting room was jam packed, no seats available. Not a word from the staff at all just waiting and waiting and more waiting… ridiculous! Used to be the best place now I would say go anywhere else.

This place is tribble. The stuff is really rude and slow. I don’t think people with behavior should be in medical field. If you are walk-in….. forget about getting in. I don’t why nobody checks on them, maybe cos it brings crowd for Safeway.

This place is clearly a case of maximum profit with minimum investment. There's no receptionist, just a machine to sign in and no help from an employee. There are two (probably overworked) phlebotomists. The chair I sat on felt like the seat was going to fall through. I was drawn by a guy phlebotomist in Room 1. There was no sink to wash his hands but he did wear gloves so I guess it's ok?Now, let's talk about my guy. Not talkative but to the point and that's alright with me. He is a work horse to Quest and he gets the job done fast and correctly with no bs, just like me. He was a wonderful phlebotomist. He was a little rough with the alcohol wipe which scared me because I thought he was going to be rough with the needle but he was great. One of the best I've had. Sure, he could have been more friendly but I'd rather have a good phlebotomist than a chatty one.I would go back there for my next draw.

The staff i encountered here is so rude. Doesn’t know the meaning of stat or urgent request. They should buy common sense.

It will be a sad day when JR retires. He is their lead phlebotomist at this location and he is absolutely wonderful. If you have a fear of needles or blood draws or a clinical setting, he is your man. I myself don’t however my significant other does and JR makes the whole situation as smooth as possible. As for me, my veins are absolutely tiny. To the point where they have to use a pediatric needle on me and my veins aren’t even visible. JR always manages to successfully draw on the first try. I won’t go to any other location if I can help it and I don’t even live in Rocklin!

If we could give this zero stars we would. I try to give latitude to the service industry. They have a severe lack of care for their customers. I will not be coming back and recommend that you try a different lab (Lab corp). Problem #1. There is no such thing as walk in- despite the fact that they advertise this Problem #2 The checking system was down. And unable to check in (for a scheduled appointment Problem #3 - failure to acknowledge our existence on the waiting room Problem #4 - lack of any kind of courtesy. Avoid Quest - AT ALL COST.

They were busy so I understand stress, however I made an appointment over the phone and they didn't have it and didn't accommodate it at all. The guy who was working said talk to her, referring to the other worker, and left for what I'm assuming is his lunch. Another person had the same problem as me and he had attitude with them even though we both had made appointments. Not very professional here.

This is the only Quest in Rocklin. I have been going here for years. It just depends on which person is working doing blood draws as far as how good the service is. JT is the one who is quick, easy and consistent. Seems like there are reviewers mention a JR. Not sure who JR is because I don't think they wear name tags. This one star is for the two women working today. An Asian woman checked me in and confirmed my name, insurance, address, and what labs was doing. I have worked with this woman before who will make some half a** attempt to get my blood. Then she claims it is "too difficult to draw my blood" and the proceeds to pass me off to another phlebotomist. She is lazy and a bad worker. I turned my head away from the needle because it makes me nauseous. The Asian woman walked out and told the short blonde Quest worker that I am difficult and mean and she is refusing to work with me. The blonde, who I have never seen before, insulted me and said, "So, you are difficult." I told her I have no idea what she is talking about. That I have been going here for years. That I am diabetic, am fasting for the test that I want to get done so I can go home and she needs to stop insulting me. She said, you must have done something because she said you are difficult. These are "medical professionals?" Something is wrong with her. She took the rubber band and ties it tighter than I have ever seen in an extreme way. It hurt and I asked her to loosen it. She said "You are mean and difficult just line the other worker said!". Who the hell is this random? I told her she needs to STOP insulting me and not to insult me again. After the blood draw, I went up to the other woman who worked there and told her not to insult me ever again and she has some nerve saying I am mean and difficult. The blond heard me then runs out into the lobby and started SCREAMING at me saying, "I am going to report you! You can't come up this location ever again!". She needs to go to another location, not me. She is nuts. I have been going here longer than either of these people. The Asian woman is conniving. Neither of them are trustworthy and both are so unprofessional. I hope both of them get assigned to another location. They should be lucky to even have a job with the way they act.

I do not recommend going here. There is an Asian man who works here and he shouldn't be allowed to practice because of the way he treated me. He couldn't get my blood drawn after going back and forth with both of my arms and he was so aggressive and kept scraping my arms with the alcohol wipes and was so aggressive the whole time. This was malpractice and he should be investigated. He should not be allowed to touch people. This is very unprofessional and it's dangerous. He left marks on my arms. Don't go here.

This site does not draw for pediatric needs. Wish doctor would have been more proactive in which site to make an appointment with, instead of advising to, "Google Quest, call #, and it will 'pick' your closest location." Technician made it worse by still attempting to draw on my one year old, after stating his lack of confidence, with no luck.

I have had trauma with getting my blood drawn and normally most nurses have a really hard time finding veins. I was so anxious about it because they've had to take blood samples from my neck before so I did not want to go in. I worried I would run into the same exact problem but it went so much better than I thought. The man who took my blood was so fast and didn't have to dig around in my veins which makes my stomach turn just having to think about. It was quick and easy and didn't even leave a mark. I don't remember his name but it was an amazing experience and I highly recommend to anyone who has previously had issues getting blood drawn.
