Very embarrassingSunday (10/22/23) morning the female employee at the self-checkout was curt and rude. I told her that I was charged full price for an item (half & half) that was on sale and she didn't like that - see attached photos. It wasn't the $2 it was the way she treated me: Even after I went back and showed her a picture of the price tag she still didn't acknowledge that I was right instead she said that the price tag belonged to another item and out loud said "but I can't leave the front so here is your two dollars". I don't want charity, I wanted her to acknowledge that I was right and apologize for her attitude. I walked out because I didn't want some potential neighbor or somebody who knows me to see that I was the recipient of the "here is your two dollars". I've been shopping here for over 20 years and I like this store but I will for sure avoid this young employee in the future. Samantha

This store has really gone downhill since new management . I've been noticing dead roaches at the checkout counter. Dead mice by the grocery carts. The lady Trina in the deli who got my food didn't wash her hands . When I tried to talk to management they were very rude . I hate this store and hope they soon replace it with a whole foods because they act way more friendly.

I agree with the other recent posts on here, I have no clue what's going on maybe it's a specific younger entitled generation but no customer service skills what so ever. I experienced this from three different girls working there, one was a cashier, one was a bagger saying f words to the older male checker wanting to quit, and another was a cart wrangler that blocked me into the cart return area not offering to take my cart with the train she was making, just chose to block me in and not make eye contact and have me wait to get out. It's really bad like they just don't want to work.

The staff working today does not hide the fact that they are miserable and don't want to be there. The checker didn't say hello or even a word through the entire transaction. Good thing I needed bags, because I wasn't asked if I wanted them. The bagger tossed bags into the cart, only fixing them when she saw me watching her. Do better with hiring and training your teams, Safeway, so you can stop losing customers.

Your cashier Callista sucks. No customer service, no smile. Very uninvited to be in the store. When I cashed out with her she was very grumpy and didn't say have a nice day. Just like to to know. Ps. I'm still coming back to shop here. Not with her.

I love Safeway but this location specifically has horrible staff, I have been here a few times since I moved and I love this place but the service is horrible! A bunch of young adults hired that are untrained and are rude , Inexperienced and careless ! One time a young man put his feet on the register to tie his shoe, as I was checking out, I didn't get his name but another time Makaila was working with 2 males and they were standing and chatting about drinking and bars while I was standing there with my daughter waiting for them to finish their small talk so they can check me out. Ridiculous ! Management needs to look into who they're hiring SMH

This is my issue I need to buy Alcohol and I press the bottom for help guess no one come after 15 min I went to the front counter to assist me later they come and they said me we don't assist her any more we assist in the counter and why is her written press the bottom? And they are an professional and I wouldn't come again to purchase!Even they don't know what they are answering guess he gives me from the shelf that is looked the some spate so I have no any idea how they are running it tooks me 22 min I just send it with my proof of time

Same quality products, same poor customer service. I was standing in line with my purchase in my hands and the cashier in the next lane over completely bypassed me and went to the cute young guy behind me. I hope she got a date but they lost a customer.

Went to Safeway last night. Asked a man working there what his star was.. he said baphomet and he's a satanist in front of my 13 year old child. Looked up what baphomet was and sure enough it matched his chain and star he was wearing on his Safeway garment. Does the s stand for Satan in Safeway?

Clean Safeway store. Good looking produce. Meat looks fresh and good cuts. Average amount of foot traffic. If you sign up for savings it will be very beneficial. The cost of food is very high right now so I recommend using the online app to help save money. Employees are nice and positive. 4 stars due to the prices being so high.

Went into Safeway yesterday early evening looking for Mothers Cookies Animal Crackers on a coupon and "GAUGE" OR "GAGE" was walking by and asked if I needed help. Didn't have the right size as advertised but GAUGE OR GAGE went above and beyond to help out. We need more employees like him. Thank You

What I like most about this store is that it is clean, to the point that the floors are so shiny that they mirror what passes on them. Another very appreciated aspect that I am truly greatful for, unlike the Lincoln Safeway, is that the deli employees use the tongs to retrieve my much wanted chicken tenders from the case, than grabbing them with a gloved hand. And no matter how many times that I have complained about this to that particular Safeway store's management; there is one older woman there, who refuses to do anything different. The reason for the 4 stars, instead of the 5 stars is because on a number of occasions, when I have been at the check-out; the cashier was more involved in having a deep discussion with the person bagging my groceries, than noticing that I am standing there.

Since I go to Safeway often, I enjoy watching progress, or noting any set backs in service. I am appreciative of Tasha and Austin, who were my clerks the other day and had full mask coverage, as did Kelly as usual. Also, for Nina initiating helping me one morning. Sadly, I've been noticing others in the store, recently, who are only wearing a mask covering their mouth, but not nose - this is going on early in the morning and later in the day. What's the point of wearing a mask if one's nose isn't covered?! I want to give a huge shout out to Peter, a manager who was given great praise on Good Neighbor's of Lincoln by an airmen's wife living on base at Beale, AFB. He drove all the way out there after work, to deliver some groceries that got missed being put into her bag. I used to work on base until this year and know how far away it is. Now that's dedication!
