I found a great price for a kayak on sale online, I ordered it and picked it up several days later from their Rocklin store. There were no issues at all, the staff was friendly and pleasant to deal with. I would definitely shop here again!

Jeez, no wonder this place is always so empty, the staff here is HELLA rude! Just stopped in to pick up an online order, and the lady helping me was so irritated she had to help me (mind you the store was empty), she kept repeating over and over, I can just get the manager, I can just get the manager.....yeah, I get it Jody! I just want to get my damn items and leave! She caused a huge ass fus over a $15 order, when I had the confirmation email, ID and my husband FaceTimed with his ID, maybe brush up on your customer service sportsman's warehouse and you'd probably have more people in there!

I dont know what wrong with the people in the guns and ammo area but they need to put some pep in their step slow as all heck.

I have bought several guns here . Wanted to make a review because I don't think sportsman's gets a fare review a lot of the time . I think most people are pissed about the process of buying a gun in California , I'm guilty of getting mad at the gun counter because an address error on my ccw (not sportsman's fault) I waited a long time at the counter but that's just because the process here is rediculous (not sportsman's fault) and it's probably unaffordable to hire 10 people for the gun counter. It would be tough to keep a positive attitude with a multitude of customers getting pissed and impatient but I think they handle it quite well most of the time . I like sportsman's , they have a good selection and if you have patience with the staff I am pretty sure you will have a good experience. It would be faster at a smaller store but for the selection they have I think they are great. When I buy a gun I am excited and want it right now lol . It's easy to get pissed with the process in California being so strict and take it out on the staff so my recommendation would be to have some patience with the guys at the gun counter and a positive attitude and I'm sure you will have a good experience at sportsman's

I read the reviews and fully expected to have a mediocre experience, but I was helped by Dan and he was Fantastic. Very knowledgeable, extremely helpful and polite. Sometimes you just have to experience for yourself and not let the reviews be everything.

I ordered a compound bow for my daughter online for Christmas. I called on Thursday to see if it was in and they told me it would be in on friday. I called Friday and they said it was supposed to be in on Thursday and they had to look for it. They put me on hold twice for 20 minutes each time and still couldn't find it. They called me back 4 hours later when they finally found it. Which meant to me that they had to go to another store to pick it up. I went in on Monday to pick it up and they could not find it. When they finally found it I found out it was a display model all beaten up. They expected me to give that to my daughter for Christmas all beat up like that. The customer service was ridiculous. I will be taking my business to Bass pro shops in Rocklin and I will never walk in there again. I wish I could give this a zero rating.

Terrible experience.Never going back to this store and I'll tell everybody I can.Staff is under paid and it shows.Few people to help and these over worked employees are not friendly.I'd paid a little more for better treatment with your competitors.Don't want to stand around and wait for service every time I visit.GOOBYE!

They were pretty understaffed at the guns and ammo counter to handle all the customers, but the employees were as polite as could be. Matt was outstanding, deserves a raise!

Very low selection on many items. Would highly suggest making a trip over to the larger Pro Shop competitor near by. I walked in, and it felt like this business was preparing to close their doors with the amount ofnitems missing.

Typical big corporation,pay minimum wages and give minimum service.Their system guarantees customers have to wait an hour or more before they're even greeted or before any service is granted by overworked staff.
