Callinan Sports Fitness Center is very clean, the staff are friendly and they have just the right equipment to get a great workout in. It's never to busy so you can come in any time of the day. Love it!

Not a bad place to work out. Good equipment and polite professional staff. Not too crowded, but it can get very hot. No air, need atleast more fans.

The sports center remains close. However, it appears that some people are allowed to haul weight room equipment outside and complete their workout routines...social distancing of course. I wonder how the men I saw secured permission to do that. The sports center is officially closed due to COVID-19. WHAT'S UP??

Check out this place! The price is the best anywhere. The staff are terrific. It's not large like 24-hour fitness, but one of the great things in my opinion is the Ladies' Locker/Shower facility -- nicely appointed and kept, with large showers and private dressing rooms. For those who need it there is on-site daycare. If you in the morning, say hello to Rosemary... The only downside is they hold a lot of competitions and award ceremonies in the large gym, so if you want to play basketball you need to check in advance.

This gym is owned and operated by the city of Rohnert Park. That being said it's a nice facility. The equipment in new or at least not old. I've been rehabbing my knee here and can't complain. The staff is helpful and has been a great help every-time I have asked.

The staff members at the front desk generally are competent and helpful, but it's obvious the management is too lax about screening people who enter the facility. It's especially bad on the weekends, when people who clearly don't have memberships and are there for other events simply wander into the weight and fitness rooms and start using the equipment. Those of us who pay monthly membership fees don't do it to subsidize these freeloaders. It's also more than likely, since no one ever has to show their photo ID at the front desk, that there are people without memberships who slide someone else's membership card through the reader when they come in. That's a time-tested gym ploy for cheapskates and other losers who think they're stickin' it to the system. The management needs to step up and crack down on these types of abuses. Granted, they aren't federal crimes, but some of us who dutifully pay our membership fee every month are becoming increasingly annoyed that they're occurring.
