Came in real quick today for some stuff when an employee named Jordy came up to my friend and I and helped us find everything we needed! We really appreciated how kind and helpful he was especially with the store closing soon.

My partner (mexican descent with darker skin) and I (mixed race) were shopping here for some plants and we're eyed at by the employee Evole(white man- not sure if names spelled correctly). we came back into the garden center with several plants in our cart and he asked my partner "do you have money to pay for that?" we responded "what?" and he asked again if we have money, we replied we did. after being visually upset he said it was a joke and he was joking. racist comments like this made for a terrible experience. we talked to a the manager Mandi and got the store mangers info to file a formalcomplaint. their employees should have taken harassment training and or inclusivity training to prevent racist harassment like this. i hope management takes this situation seriously so this employee doesn't do this again. out of all the people in the garden center, he singled us (the only people of color) out to make his jokes to.

So, even though Homedepot is a national store, almost 100% of the time that I try to get phone service instead of driving to the Home Depot to find out they do or do not have something they never answer the phone! I have a literally called the Home Depot and after 20 rings have driven to the Home Depot walked in the store and went over to customer service and the phone was still ringing as I was holding the phone in my hand with three attendants working near the phone. But, I have called Friedman brothers in Santa Rosa on Santa Rosa Ave. and after four rings almost every time they pick up the phone and they tell me whether they have a product in stock after they transfer me to a worker in that area. No why is it Friedmans who is a small mom and pop store compared to the Home Depot Can deliver better service and have a better supply and variety of items that I need. It's a shame that a national brand store like Home Depot can't run their stores better, and are living off of the name more than the quality of service to the local people who built them in the beginning.

Love Home Depot. but I guess they're trying to save money. I don't like it that you can't go up to a cashier, I know they will help in in the self serve, I'm just saying I don't like it.and it seems harder to find help on the floor. But I still love it, I can bring my dogs with me. I love checking out the mistake paints they have on in the paint department.

This is a rating for using a military ID at self checkout. In the past, I show my ID and that's it, done and off home with my project at a good discount. Now there's an app and phone number needed. Nope, ID has my photo and info. I asked the self checkout rep to just apply the discount manually, nope. Went to customer service for assistance, nope. Ok Home Depot, see you at Lowes.

**This review is for the Tool and Truck Rental department.**I was having a hard time placing an online reservation for box truck rental on the Home Depot website. I called in to the Rohnert Park store and I had the pleasure of speaking to William. He made the process quick, easy, and he answered all of my questions. Two days later when we went to pick up the truck, Daryl was our associate. He had many walk-in transactions ahead of us (we showed up before 8:30am on a Saturday), but he was very cheerful and eager to help us. When we went to inspect the rental, he was thorough and gave us all the info we needed to get rolling.Later that same day when we came back to drop off the truck, Brad helped us. He was also very thorough and even found an item we had forgotten in the rental. Thank you William, Daryl, and Brad for an awesome first experience with Home Depot's Rental department! We surely will be back!

I've had the worst experience with Home Depot Rohnert Park. We ordered a trundle bed for our daughters 3rd birthday that was to be delivered to the store directly for us to pick it up. My husband drove an hour from our home to pick it up and came home with two boxes. Turns out this isn't even half the order. (The order doesn't tell us how many boxes total.) I call and ask about the rest of the order every day for a week straight and each employee I talk to says "I'm not sure I'll have someone call you back." (I never once received a call back.)After a week, I finally tell someone "I will wait on the phone as long as it takes for you to check in the back." She does and she tells me there is one more box. I tell her "I believe there is more than one box left because there is more than half of the bed missing." She says she is 100% sure it is all in this last box, so my husband takes the morning off to drive an hour to go get the rest of the bed and put it together to surprise our daughter. Well, we get it home and we are STILL missing pieces. We call back to talk to someone and they say "oh we'll give you a call back tomorrow morning." (They don't call back.) We proceed to call again and they say the last box is missing and transfer me to customer service where the customer service rep tells me to just return it because she thinks it will take forever to get the last box in, so I schedule a pick up, just to be called a few minutes later by Home Depot Rohnert Park and for a manager to tell me they actually HAVR the last box. The woman on the phone had the nerve to say that I should have talked to her sooner because she has had the box the whole time. She also said she would have just refunded me and let me keep the bed for my trouble, but it's too late now since I scheduled a pick up. I am blown away at the way we've been given the run around on this order. I've been patient and kind on the phone. I know working the floor isn't easy and there's a lot of moving bodies. I understand people forget to call back and it gets busy (though having someone never once call back was frustrating.) What tipped us over the edge was the last person who called an said "well you should have talked to me sooner." I had been calling asking for help for 12 days straight. We didn't deserve this treatment. All we wanted to do was to surprise our daughter for her birthday. We've been long time customers and I am second guessing ever shopping at Home Depot again.

The employees are under-staffed and under-trained. 17 minutes for just one return, and only 2 ahead of me, while only 1 was working the customer service.

The big print giveth. The small print taketh.I went into Home Depot. I got the item I wanted. I presented my Veterans id for the Veterans Discount as I have for years. I was denied my Veterans Discount. The dénouement is that when The Home Depot boasts it's here to help, they mean help themselves NOT Veterans and GIs.The Home Depot now REFUSES to accept Veterans and GIs ids at the stores for Veterans and GIs to receive a discount. It does NOT give Veterans and GIs a Veterans or Military Discount unless they previously downloaded an app to a smart phone AND use that app at the store on a smart phone the Veterans and GI own. themilitarywallet.com/ho…What about Veterans and GIs who don't have a smart phone?! The Home Depot DOESN'T care about Veterans and GIs who don't have a smart phone. Veterans like me.What about Veterans and GIs who can't afford a smart phone?! The Home Depot DOESN'T care about Veterans and GIs who can't afford a smart phone. Veterans like me.What about elderly Veterans who don't know how to use apps?! The Home Depot DOESN'T care about elderly Veterans who don't know how to use apps. Veterans like me.What about disabled Veterans who can't use apps?! The Home Depot DOESN'T care about disabled Veterans who can't use apps. Veterans like me.Furthermore, according to insensitive, selfish, and obsessed with money Home Depot's website, the store's year-round Military and Veteran discount is capped at $400 per year and there are many exclusions to the discount. Why is The Home Depot behaving in such an insensitive manner? There is so much owed by so many to so few. With Freedom comes Responsibility. A publicly disclosed daily Military and Veterans Discount is a token thank you for what is owed to Veterans and GIs. A Veteran Discount and Military Discount provides resource to ensure Veterans (rare 7% of the population) and GIs (rare one-half of one percent of the population) opportunity to participate in American Dream Veterans and GIs' sacrifices have made possible for 100% of the population.Today is Veterans Day. The observance of Veterans Day on November 11 not only preserves the historical significance of the date, it also focuses attention on the important purpose of Veterans Day. The purpose of Veterans Day is to honor and show appreciation and gratitude and pay tribute to America's Veterans, which includes GIs, for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to Serve and sacrifice for the common good.Happy Veterans Day, my fellow Veterans. May all our storms be weathered, and all that's good get better. And, always remember, the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.I say to Home Depot, who managed here to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory, remember Proverbs 3:27, "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act," because Hell has a special place reserved in it for those who don't honor, show appreciation and gratitude and pay tribute to and help Veterans and GIs.With all business, it's the first impression that counts the most. Here with The Home Depot, it is the last impression--the way they have deliberately and cruelly set up several barriers to what Veterans and GIs have clearly earned--that endures as it contributes to why Veterans succumb to suicide at a rate twice that of non-Veterans.Shame on The Home Depot. My experience with this business brought to mind: Handle every situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, just pee on it (here with a review) and walk away.

Deplorable management observation!! Today my husband and I were checking out of self check out when we couldn't help but hear how a superior was speaking to an elderly man employee!!! She was hollering away at the man on how to change out the cash from the checkout machine. At one point she physically shoved him back and was yelling "stand clear, stand clear". Another employee stepped in momentarily this woman had walked back over to the cash vacuum looking thing and hollers over her shoulder "Don't help him, he needs to learn how to do it himself!" This woman has grey hair and looks Hispanic (wish I would have got her name, but I hope someone who actually cares about the employees sees this). I couldn't help but audibly say to the female employee who walked by "wow, you don't speak to your employees like that and treat them that way if you want them to learn, what poor management oversight". She actually nodded and agreed with me about the woman and you could tell the immense disrespect others had for her. I know we all got desperate for employees during/after Covid but there's just NO excuse for that sort of behavior. Clearly a power tripping supervisor with ZERO interpersonal skills and lack of reading her surroundings. Shame on you!!!!

I ordered a new grill yesterday for full price at $1000 online. Today it was delivered fully assembled without any instructions. I asked the delivery people why it was already assembled and without instructions. They were equally confused. Upon inspecting it further, I realized it had been used and had charred food still on the inside of the grill. I then called the Home Depot it came from and they offered $100 off the price stating that was the best they could do. A few hours later, I was walking in my driveway when I noticed a yellow piece of paper on the ground. This happened to be the "on sale" sticker that had either fallen off (or been ripped off) that said "USED BBQ, Now $749.25". I called the store back and relayed the information to them. They they offered $300 off the original price... which is $50 off the price of what I should have been charged had I knowingly chose to purchase the used grill. Photo below is after I found the sticker and put it back on the grill.

Ordered first time online Home Depot Store Rohnert Park branch. 1pc Wood stain gel Black and 1pc foam brush at 8am today, it's currently 10am. Store online says they have it in stock. A little back story, went to the store to see if they had it on the shelves but apparently not. Went to the customer service aisle and the lady that assisted me told me to check with the people at the paint department. ok kool, I walk there and asked nicely.. she said whatever we got there is your answer. wow. None of them even bothered checking the computer to see if it was in stock. Mind you this was 7:30am very slow with barely customers. So I figured why not try online shopping since it clearly says IN STOCK in store pick up/curbside pickup. Not even a smile or a "goodmorning" hell, I'd even take a regular "mornin" greet. Nope nadda. Fix your online INSTOCK.
