I don't usually write negative things, but this incident really shook me up. My father is disabled, both blind and deaf, and requires considerable assistance for his medical appointments. We visited the facility to have his lab work done today, which had been referred by his PCP. Despite our efforts to ensure all necessary paperwork was in order, we encountered significant issues with the on-site lab manager, Cynthia.
Cynthia claimed that the referral for the lab work had not been received, even after we faxed it again from the doctor's office, twice. I clearly communicated to her about my father's condition and emphasized that we could not make another trip. Despite this, Cynthia continued to be uncooperative, refused us all options, and insisted that we wait in the lobby. My father's appointment was at 8:40 AM, and we ended up sitting in the waiting area for an hour while she attended to other patients and ignored us. She was angry, unprofessional and discriminative.
We left the facility frustrated and without the blood work done at 9:30 AM. Her behavior was not only unprofessional but also lacked compassion, human touch and understanding for my father's needs. It appeared as though she was leveraging her position to make things unnecessarily difficult for us, which caused significant stress and inconvenience. This experience has been deeply troubling, and I feel it is important to bring this matter to your attention. I believe that all patients, particularly those with disabilities, deserve to be treated with respect and care.

Staff was very helpful getting me signed in and onto a standby list. They were able to get me in for my lab work within a few minutes, even as they were fully booked. The technician was very gentle and professional.

The computer check-in was not working properly. The early-morning-short-fused, tense, tired, fasting, and hungry clientele were unnaturally irritable. The Staff with false smiles on their faces and lies on their lips were making a poor job of bluffing their way through the mess. But make it tghrough the mess they did, as best as I could tell. At least I could spot no blood on the floor, broken bones, or damaged furniture. Good luck.

Worst blood draw I ever had. Tech was overjoyed at my healthy veins but then proceeded to jab me as if he was popping a balloon, from about 6” away. No easing in, it was what I would call violent, the first like that I’ve ever had. I didn’t say anything as I obviously didn’t want to make it worse while he filled the vials. Several hours later I started feeling pain at the site and when I peeled off the bandage, I was astounded to see swelling of the vein (where there had been none), and an enormous bruise, which has since spread. Two days later and there is still significant swelling and a horrible bruise. People, I don’t bruise easily! I see my cardio tomorrow and ask her if I need to be worried. Avoid, avoid, avoid this place! (Photo is from two days after the draw)

Stepping foot into this location for the first time, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the facility and the convenient check-in process facilitated by a user-friendly kiosk. Willie, who assisted me, appeared right on time for my appointment, calling out my name with a friendly demeanor. He provided me with clear instructions on which station to proceed to, confirmed my personal details and purpose for being there, and promptly began the process. As our interaction concluded, he kindly escorted me to the exit, offering well wishes for the rest of my day. Without a doubt, I will be recommending this location to others.
