This and all locations are like something out of twilight zone, service is almost non existent resolving any issues can't be handled in house gotta call the service number and when you do forget about it I had fraudulent charges on my account once they switched hands of ownership I read they had a breach in there system and there not going to announce it in any way forget this place and any 1 associated with it. Botw was very great in all aspects but now it's garbage can't even cash a check without them taking it from 1 of your accounts is bs now they charge to cash checks. I'm glad I decided to switch banks recently and closed both my accounts at the joke of a bank today. Which was hard to get done as well boo you suck

If you come to this bank to make a deposit for somebody else, they require your driver license without a drivers license or ID they won't help you the bank cashier told me she just needed to see my name but then I saw her typing in stuff in the computer and she said oh I gotta type in your name and your driver license number I told her if you would've said that in the beginning I wouldn't of giving you my ID and I would've gone somewhere else after she was done she said oh I can void the transaction , but it's too late she already input my information in the system she claims nothing is stored in the system but if that is the case, why do you need it in the first place it doesn't make sense whoever the manager is you need to do a better job on training your employees and really understanding what the policy is.

This bank can only open an account, and then there is no money you need to withdraw. The attitude is also very bad, and I will not return my own money! ? ! ! ? ? ?

Don't waste your time or money at this particular location. Yvette provides ZERO customer service and even mocks customers who are confused and ask questions. She also handed me her card "because I know you're going to ask for it." It's almost like she expected me to write a bad review?! This branch knows they have crap service and they are blunt with it. Yvette was practically useless and verbally assaulted my elderly mother due to a transaction which she wanted to cancel. Then Ms. Vivi Hoang finally stepped in to help us after noticing how upset we were. I will not be back to this location and my mother and I will BOTH be moving banks asap. Again, don't waste your time here. If you must use a BOW branch, visit the Pasadena location near Altadena Dr. They are much more friendly and seem to actually care about their customers.

Oh my gad when I tell you I absolutely hate this bank, its the nice version of what I really want to say.I've never been to a bank that makes it so difficult to be a customer.Listen to me, I have NEVER. I changed my password for online banking, the next day I signed in with the PW ,but the system didn't recognize the new PW. So I waited a few minutes and tried again, the same thing,after a few attempt my online banking was blocked. I called the customer service ,I am hearing impaired so I have to ask her to repeat what she said, after a two or three exchange she decided to call for a translate service. It is understandable to be annoyed by repeating, but one has to understand the difficulty of the heard-of -hearing person has. I would like to suggest to train the representative to be understandable and sympathetic toward people with hearing difficulty. It is arrogant that after a few exchanges of words and straight away to assume the customer in deficient in English.

Don't open any account with bank of the west because it's SUPER hard to close it. I called the phone line to close my checking account and the rep told me he completed my request over the phone. I thanked him and hung up. Next month I received a monthly charge of $25 and called again to solve the issue, but they said the account t is not active anymore so I needed to go branch (inactive because I tried to close it but still charging me monthly fee @@???!!!) I went to branch and was advised to pay $25, and they can send request to revivie the account so they can close it properly this time. Even it's ridiculous, I agreed since $25 is not a big issue. Later the day, I received phone called and informed they have closed it properly. Next month, I received $25 charge and $30 penalty because bank of west rule that they charge $30 if client didn't cover the balance with 5 days. Wtf!!@@ The account should have been closed twice already!!! This is some kinda ghost story!? Today, I m calling the branch before I step in and we will see how the story goes....

The worst experience in banking you'll have. I opened an account 4 weeks ago. I made weekly deposits of 2-3 thousands with mixed bills. One time, a teller asked "what kind of business you're in". I thought the question was strange. It's not a pleasantry but really a question. Another time, a teller would spend minutes to sort all the bills, instead of using the count machine. Other time, they would ask me for ID even I already put in my ATM card & PIN. Other time, while people waiting in line, they would make you wait while they're chatting. And this is the worst: they CLOSED my account without warning, then lied about it. They told me to call customer service, because they "had no idea why". Customer service manager said "it was the branch that closed it". I went back to the brand, they said "They don't know anything, your account closed and check was sent out". They caused all my autopay, DMV fee, and other debits bounced and I have to pay penalty for them. They refused to even give me back my money but made me wait for it "in the mail". Vivi Hoang, Yvette, Candi, and others all have terrible attitude and will screw you over. Don't tell me I didn't warn you. Take your money elsewhere.
