These places are so overpriced and bad services .Luckily my Mom heard about“Mimosa Nursery ,” and we went today to buy 5-6 trees. I was impressed with this place . “The Cub House is everything a locally owned bike shop should be... a quirky and fun community hub that's a veritable candy store for cycling enthusiasts while remaining welcoming and accessible for first-time or more casual riders.
The selection of bikes, accessories, and apparel is well-curated and there's always something fun to discover that you often won't find at the corporately owned bike shops that are all too common these days.
The service technicians are always super friendly, no matter what oddball (aka I tried to fix it myself) situation I bring to them.

“I’d probably shop here if prices were slightly higher than other nursery options but since it’s slightly cheaper Bellefontaine is a no brainer if you live anywhere in the area. Why? Friendly, knowledgeable service provided by a small, local business that offers fair, competitive pricing.
What’s not there? Fancy merchandising, for one. No displays, no hard sell— walking through the nursery is to navigate a maze in search of treasure. And that’s the other thing: the selection is well curated but not vast. You could call it limited. There are natives but not like Theodore Payne. There are veggies but no like Armstrong.
But unless you seek a Whole Foods experience that leaves you inspired but exhausted, Bellefontaine Nursery has enough gems spread across its many micro-aisles to keep most gardeners sated.”

“We've been to this nursery for 2 large purchases. One for a handful for privacy laurels and another for a massive haul of fruit trees.
All the staff are super friendly and helpful. They will drive you around and help load trees up if you need help. They even had guys help load 6 trees into our truck so they'd survive the trip.
If you wait for a seasonal sale you can get great deals from what I've seen. Like a 15g Babcock peach for $65 (I think). I've seen 5g sell at list price for 40-60 at other places.
24" box were more expensive to their 15g counterparts than I would've hoped ($125 list vs 400). But we're patient and decided to buy 3 15g instead of one 24".
My only complaint was the delivery price. While still cheaper than other nurseries, it was basically the cost of another tree.
Pro tip: if you dont have one, rent a uhaul pickup for the day (less than $50). Garden View employees saw us starting to load and came over and basically loaded everything up professionally (including securing w the ratchet straps we brought). All I had to do was unload at home.
For garden view: a free delivery for purchases over $800 or $1000 would be awesome and encourage customers to buy just a few more plants to get the free delivery”
“Found this place while visiting Monrovia in the SGV. It's a cozy sliver of space but this place is packed with plants! It's like walking in a dream. Towards the back of the nursery it turned into a mini labyrinth. All the plants look healthy and well taken care of. I absolutely loved all of the hanging baskets succulent combinations. I will be coming back to purchase more plants when I'm in the area. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS.”

I was paying all that money with other companies for the exact same grow bags. I love my bags and when I need more bags, 247 Garden is where I will be purchasing them! We found a great variety of plants that still are alive today which is always a win. They also have cute planters but def need to follow them on IG when they get the best ones. “In 2006, l purchased a portable Honda generator from this company. Over time the unit, began exhibiting hard-starting issues as a result of poor upkeep maintenance on my part. It finally stopped operating about (4) years ago.Last week, after years of just sitting in my hangar, l was going to discard the unit. Prior to discard, last week, l decided to give Garvey Equipment a call to determine if it was possible to salvage my unit. Garvey staff, George, advised that after listening to my situation, that in his opinion my old generator could be repaired.As such, l took the generator to Garvey, and in two days, George called and reported my unit was serviced and ready for pickup.I found both George and John (owner) quite cordial & professional.Their professional services & courtesy saved me the price of buying a new unit.”
