I throw $100 to the trash comming here.My makeup was nothing like the pictures I showed the lady.I looked terrible but I was so embarrassed to tell her how disappointed I was.I went home and washed my face, then I did my own makeup for the wedding.

This review is about Nathan, I wish I could've apologized in person but I didn't want it to be awkward. My sister was being a little too much asking questions, changing things last minute, asking about stuff and I felt really bad but Nathan had no problem well, doing his job. I work in retail myself and know how annoying customers like that can be so I really appreciate how patient he was with us. What stood out to me was his ability to be able to make small talk with us and just being sweet during our whole transactions (because I know I can't do that lol). I was a little embarrassed about my sister that I wanted to leave the store right away and I didn't even notice I left one of our bags behind. I didn't hear him yelling to us that we forgot our bag and honestly would've driven away up until another customer came up to us and told us he wanted to run up to us outside of the store to give it to us, but he couldn't leave the store. TELL ME THAT ISN'T SWEET! I drove up embarrassed again we cracked a few jokes and drove away. Yes, with retail I know you are supposed to go above and beyond with customers but my whole interaction with Nathan felt very genuine and sweet. Can't thank him enough <3

Normally go to this ulta and everything is fine the staff is nice and all always offering to help however went today and this girl who of course works there just gave me the ugliest glance and didn’t offer to help. I waited maybe she didn’t think I needed help so I walked towards her but she left when I was walking towards her. She then asks an Asian woman on the next aisle if she needed any help but when she was done with her she glances again at me and doesn’t ask me anything. Super racist. I did not appreciate that. Don’t wanna be a Karen but why hire someone who isn’t going to serve everyone who walks in.

Had a hair appointment with Wendy today. She did such lovely job and was such a pleasure to chat with. It's hard to find a good stylist for curly hair. SO happy with how my hair turned out! Thank you, Wendy!

I am not satisfied with with my hair color . I asked for blonde and she did highlight brassy blonde. I hate the way it looks. She asked me to show her a picture of my desired hair color and it looks nothing like how I asked. She asked if I liked it I said no because I wanted my hair blonde. She said she was scared of putting too much bleach on my hair but the entire time she kept complementing me about how my hair was bleach fast plus you should always test the hair before applying bleach. I spent over $300 somethingTo get what she wanted not what I asked.My experience was not greatI give two stars because she was nice and I also tipped

I shopped here more than a few times and never truly had any complaints. Currently, I'd rather take a drive to the Pasadena location. In the Rosemead location the staff follow you around without offering assistance. An African American male security guard followed my adult daughters and I around until I turned around and asked if he'd like to help us or just continue watching us in a creepy fashion. He raised his voice and made a scene, of course I was offended by his behavior- very ghetto. So I asked if he'd like to be our personal shopper while there. The store mgr came out and told him to stop making a scene, and took him to the other side of the store. It looked as if she was politely reprimanding him. Another staff mbr came over to check on us & apologize for the guys behavior, I thanked her and although we proceeded to make our purchase (of over $250), I let her know we would not return. I'd rather spend a little more gas and have a pleasant shopping experience than spend money in a hostile & harassing environment.

Great service!! I'm giving them five stars because they have all the makeup brands that I really need them the most! The r.e.m. beauty by Ariana Grande is one of the best makeup brands ever in this store!! Oh and the Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner is a really good makeup brand too!! Thank you all so much for everything!! Five stars is definitely my total rating!!! :)

If I could give a negative star I would. One of the rudest most condescending treatment for an issue that was an error on ULTA system that charged twice for a transaction. A condescending assistant manager Katie literally yelled at me that if I want the items I have to pay again. When I asked why the attitude she smirked and said "I'm Italian, this is how I talk normally". I'm appalled. Computer errors happen, but this woman should not be allowed to represent Ulta as a business. It is unfair for the rest of the hard working staff to have a customer base their experience of a company based on the attitude of this woman.

I placed an online order, I received an email stating the order was ready for pick up. I get to the location and check in for curbside and receive a call, I forgot to ask for the associates name but she was beyond rude. she kept asking for my order info and said i didn't place and order.? That she had no order for me.? When i tried to speak she would abruptly and rudely put me on hold with the wait music. The end result and resolution she offered was i can call customer service if i had an issue and the call was ended. Then she sat at the window of the store and stared at me awkwardly as i drove off. I am a loyal Ulta customer the only reason I chose this location was because my items were available at this specific location, but I will let all my friends and family know to never never never never go to this ghetto and unprofessional location. They could definitely use some training on customer service.

A sweet employee helped me color match for foundation and helped me try to pick out a lipgloss! She was so nice I’d definitely come back. She was so patient with me and I saw how she helped others!! The store itself was great! So many things,, so many selections! Anyway, I love Tarte and Ka-brow products! This store had it! And it was easy to navigate around!
