We really like this outdoors stores. Lots of good bargains, friendly staff, outdoor activity kiosk as you walk in the door with brochures and maps for nearby regions and activities.

Brought bike in for a tune up. Purchased a new bike chain from them for them to install onto my bike. They put the brand new clean bike chain onto my dirty chain set. Thats super surprising to me...I would assume you would clean the chain set before putting a brand new chain on. Previous experiences were good though.

Last minute shopping here! This store has a good selection on winter gear. The sales person was friendly and very helpful. We unintentionally went a bit past closing time with our shopping. The staff didn't rush us and maintained good customer service. Went to the store just intending to purchase ski masks and end up with that and some!

Cool older dude helped with ski boot fittings. Very helpful. Didn't have exactly what I wanted in stock so directed me online to purchase. Got a killer deal on a jack wolfskin vest on sale. All employees are super helpful, nice and chill.

Over the top customer service at BlueZone Sports in Roseville!!!Getting back into the skiing after decades away from the sport I ventured into a few local ski shops and all of them appear attentive to their customers but at BlueZone I found such outstanding attention and care. OUTSTANDING customer service from Erik as you will read in other reviews, Eric was tireless getting me into the “right” ski boots. You don see this type of customer care anywhere. I had to apologize for putting him through the ringer with my over analyzing but he kept reassuring me it is his job to get me into the right boot for my foot.I found some nice boots and skis this weekend so no more rentals.See Erik at BlueZone, he and other staff will get you dialed in.BlueZone is now my first and only stop for my ski needs.

I went to the store for ski boot fitting and to buy the rest of the gear, too.Erik was amazing fitter as he knew a lot and helped above and beyond. He encouraged me to try boots on for longer time to get the right feeling and get full understanding of how each of them feels. He gave me several different ones to try. We found the one that was almost perfect and he took it to the shop and adjusted it to exact fit.He also suggested skies and the store had great black Friday deal which made it even better.Erik made sure I get the best set and deal for it.I never felt pressured to buy and select something.I came to the store twice as we didn't find exact match at first and it was OK to leave fitting without buying. The downside was the crew at the workshop who added bindings. They gave me back wrong gear at first. They could not find my items. They could not answer questions. They found one person who knew and was nice, but others ruined the experience and I'm not confident to bring anything there for maintenance or repair.

The guys in the bike shop were great, they tuned up my bike perfectly and didn’t get pushy about up-selling me any unnecessary stuff.

Visited BlueZone after I was referred by a competitor. I needed new snowboard boots and some adjustments to my board. Erik fitted me for boots and helped me find a perfect pair. He was incredibly helpful and personable--funny guy too! I didn't feel pressured to make a purchase either; Erik seemed most invested in providing great service. Mark helped me with the board. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. His expertise was invaluable. My board/bindings were especially difficult to adjust, but he spent the time getting them just right, and did so free of charge. BlueZone exceeded my expectations, all thanks to Erik and Mark. Nothing beats walking out with some mountain ready gear and peace of mind.

I was on the hunt for snow clothes. I dropped into this sports store in Roseville, CA, on Harding Blvd in the Roseville Square shopping center. I have never heard of BlueZone Sports before. It's a sports shop geared for snow gear, hiking, camping, and bicycles. The employees are super helpful. The store has a smaller inventory than the big box shops but they carry quality brands with a sustainable focus, like Jack Wolfskin and Volcom. The interior lighting is a bit dark. I walked in on a sunny Autumn weekday afternoon and the lighting was dim. I wished it was a bit brighter in there. It made reading the print on the tags a bit harder on my old eyes. When I was there, they had a lot of red tag 50% off clothing on the Jack Wolfskin line (German outdoor clothier). This place is totally worth a look for winter gear. This store offers $10 off $25 or more purchases (excluding sales items) if you show them todays Trader Joe's (TJ) receipt. The TJ they are referencing is the one that's their neighbor located in the same shopping plaza. They also offer rentals: bikes (including electric, mountain, and cruisers), waterski, SUP, kayak, wakeboards, snowboards, and skis in adults and children sizes.

Well organized store and mostly friendly folks, but the rental reservation system is awful. We reserved rentals in advance for our family and got everything except for a snowboard kit for our son. He needs a 100cm board but even though we reserved it (and paid for it in advance), it meant nothing as they didn't have it there. We had to drive over to Clark's down the road and they had everything he needed. They only do walk-ins though, but if BlueZone can't do reservations properly then they're the same to me. We had to get a refund for the snowboard kit and the cashier was rude. She refunded a ski kit instead (which was a $5 difference) so we had to get it fixed. My wife was there and the cashier was pretty unpleasant to deal with. She blamed it on the paperwork and said "this was a ski kit which is why I refunded the ski kit" and was trying to blame us for the confusion. She was very robotic and didn't apologize or anything. She processed the refund, slid the receipt back to us and didn't even say a word, so I just said thank you and left. I'd probably come back to browse around, but definitely not renting stuff from here anymore as they never have the sizes we need.
