Well with some bad experiences elsewhere - the doc here is busy and it's hard to get in, but she cares for the animals and has done wonders for King Charles

I took my 18 year old cat in for diarrhea and the vet prescribed him an antibiotic and said to bring him back on "Thursday" for tests. He died three days later and never made it to Thursday for the tests to see what was wrong with him. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

The WORST veterinarian office I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. If I could give zero stars, I would. The agreed upon plan of care was that we drop our cat off in the morning, he would be given a sedative, then an examination and labs with in-house test results. We were told it would take 1-2 hours. 3 hours later, after not hearing anything, I called to check in. The tech that took the call was rude, dismissive and clearly shouldn't be working in a veterinarian office if he can't be more polite and empathetic. You are working with people's pets, most of whom are loved and treasured family members. If that's a difficult concept to grasp, or if working in a busy enviroment is too much for you to remain polite and professional, I strongly urge you to look for employment elsewhere as this doesn't seem to be the right fit. If everything else had gone fine, I would take my business elsewhere based solely on my interaction with him. I was made to feel as if my concerns were a disruption and unimportant. I was told they had just started and "that they'd call me," in a very condescending tone after he attempted to brush me off and give me an update that sounded very much like he was referring to the wrong pet, and also that "my cat isn't the only one they were seeing."Again, 3 hours later, they finally began the sedation and the exam. My cat, whom they were well aware was already extremely stressed, scared and uncooperative (hence the previously discussed plan of care) was left to sit in his carrier that entire time, growing more and more terrified before they finally got around to him. After 5 hours, we were finally called to say that he was ready. When they gave him to me, I looked in at him and noticed he was wet. When I questioned why, as I was honestly so confused as to how he could possibly be so wet, I was told very nonchalantly that he might have urinated... this made me irate. I have had pets my entire life. Worked with many different veterinarian's in several different states, and I have NEVER picked my pet up covered in their own urine. Never!! They didn't even attempt to clean him up and did not care that he was in that state. The entire interaction with the vet and her super hostile tech (yes, the same one that took my call) who was clearly trying to be intimidating took a turn for the worse from this point as we were already understandably upset at the treatment of our animal, but then we were were also billed over $300 for a basic blood panel and sedation (not anesthesia, sedation). When we questioned if it was her general practice to charge that kind of money without discussing charges first, her response was to say that yes, she normally does, but somehow it slipped her mind. Again, there was no remorse for the dismal treatment of our cat or the state that we received him in. Actually had the audacity to blame it on my cat! More words were exchanged, but it clearly fell on deaf ears as they only saw that we were upset, and didn't seem to care why. When we got him home, we had to put him through more stress by giving him a bath, as he was literally soaked in urine. He was so traumatized by this entire fiasco that he has been hiding under the bed for days. I don't care what excuses you have as none are good enough. There was a plan of care established, agreed upon by both parties. The exact opposite took place. In my opinion, the Veterinary Medical Board should pay this facility a visit. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that there is more abuse happening.

So thankful they are back open! They are the only people I trust to do surgery on my elderly dog.

I’ve been going to Dr Lehil for five years. I absolutely love him and his staff. But now it’s states that it’s closed temporarily? I’m very confused about this.

I've been to this clinic a few times with my cats. The service was always good, but recently it seems like they're "temporarily closed" every time I'm in need of seeing the vet as well as never answering my calls when they are listed as open. If you can catch them when they're open and actually answering the phone, they're a great vet office

Temporarily Closed? This is unacceptable that we were not notified they were permanently closing without getting our pets records!

I had a emergency and took my dog somewhere, they wanted 6000$ to perform emergency surgery on my dog, and I’m poor and live check to check, so I called dry creek vet and they immediately rushed my dog MissJiblets in for surgery, rescheduling others to save my dogs life. She had over 200+ bladder stones and Dr. Lehil was very compassionate and empathetic to my situation and worked within the budget I had. I can’t recommend this place enough, they saved my dogs life, and were the MOST REASONABLE priced vet I could find. Again in my darkest time of need, dr lehil went above and beyond and saved my pugs life. I’ll forever be grateful to him and this vet office. Highly recommend I’ll be going back for any other future issues with my pugs. I’d give 10+ stars if I could. Very compassionate team over at drycreek vet !!!

Brought my dog in to be neutered today. After the procedure was done, a vet tech performed the post-op instructions with me. He had an indifferent attitude during this time. And when I asked questions, he acted like I was wasting his time. Extremely poor customer service. Especially after spending over $600.

Dr. Lehil is an amazing vet, I would recommend any family member or friend to this vet clinic. If you're looking for a vet who has compassion not only for animals, but for their owners, this is it!On the day before Thanksgiving, one of our kitties was injured. We called about 20 local vets and no one could take Bernard, they had no room anywhere. I frantically dialed Dry Creek knowing they aren't an emergency clinic, but perhaps would be available to at least assess his situation. They took him in right away. Bernard had to stay overnight (a service they don't usually offer) to flush his kidneys and was on an IV. The morning of Thanksgiving Day, Dr. Lehil and his family personally came into the office, solely to provide care for us and for Bernard. Unfortunately Bernard succumbed to his injuries. Rather than charging us for what should have been over a $1,000 bill, Dr. Lehil simply charged us for labs. I was astonished and amazed that with the opportunity to rightfully charge for all he did, Dr. Lehil saw our situation, our broken hearts, or whatever it was, and had compassion for us and our situation, went above and beyond in every way, and deserves more than i can even offer in a review.About a month later, our kitty Ray was diagnosed with Stomatitis. Dr. Lehil was so quick to diagnose, medicate, schedule/perform surgery, and my Ray baby is now on the mend in every way!! The cost was very affordable compared to other vets, as Ray had to have nearly all of his teeth removed. If you're looking for a vet who is knowledgeable, direct, and compassionate, this is the place.Sidenote: Dr. Lehil works with Istie Bitsie Rescue to support and care for lost and abandoned kittens. All of my foster kittens have gone through him and he absolutely knows what he is doing. I can not express what a wonderful vet this man and is wife are.

Long time Rocklin Ranch customers who moved to Dry Creek because Rocklin Ranch has made it almost impossible to get in within a reasonable time period without paying exorbitant extra fees.No frills office but both of our dogs have done great there. Dr. Lehil is knowledgeable and attentive. Staff has all been very friendly to us. While our pet was under for a dental cleaning Dr. Lehil even checked out a few fatty masses for us for free. Military discounts as well

My husband and I were quoted $300 for the Puppy Package a week prior to the appointment. After we were in the exam room the vet said it would be $450 for the Puppy Pack. We were quoted $300 for the pack and they wouldn't honor their quote. What a horrible way to run a business!
