Very friendly customer service, but lack of selection. There were very few dress shoes to choose from, and they were expensive compared to other discount stores.

Great experience! Shane the assistance manager helped us order a pair of shoes they didn’t have in store. Very helpful, patient and professional! Very clean store and GREAT customer service!

This occurred on August 30 2022This is about my experience at the store with one particular employee gave it one additional star for the other employeesCame in the famous footwear today at 4 PM with my boyfriend who's flying across country and needed to buy some slides for his trip didn't know of any shoe stores in the area so we decided to check out famous footwear first We were there for about five minutes checked out the prices checked out the clearance so we can compare to the stores next-door. As we were walking out we noticed an older woman working there I'd say in her mid-50s early 60s with blond hair ran up to the window and look directly at our shoes and we shrugged it off not thinking much at the time (my boyfriend was wearing the same type of shoes we were checking out) mind you we are interracial couple and my boyfriend has tattoos all over nonetheless we didn't think any of that was an issue. We went and checked out TJ Maxx compared prices even bothered to go into cross roads next-door just in case there was a good deal we end up making our way back to famous footwear we immediately picked out the slides and then decide to go check out the women's section to see if there any good deals before we left. That's when the older woman came up to us again and asked if we need any help for the third time. (first two times were during the first trip then we came back not even 10 minutes later and we were in there for a few minutes before she asked us again). And then she stood 1 foot away from me and was straightening out the shoes on the wall. I understand how if you have a customer who you might think it's suspicious how you're supposed to take steps toward loss prevention. But at the same time we are both dressed up very nice have nothing but designer on and we were there at this point a total of maybe ten minutes oh and that's both times of coming into the store this woman is already proceeded to ask us if we need to help multiple times. I honestly had a bad feeling and I didn't want to spend my hard earned money at a store where their employees profiling us racially or monetarily so I proceeded to smile and a note to the woman that we saw her run out the window when we left the store and we laughed and thinking she would too or just say something polite but she immediately became Distraught with a look of confusion on her face which then confirmed clearly confirmed what she was doing. She said yes I wasn't doing anything when we put it out exactly what she did nonetheless we walked away to go purchase our shoes at the counter when the cashier asked us what was going on to which we told her. Then the older woman started saying things to us at the back of the store very unprofessional we were just there to buy slides and instead we had a whole confrontation for nothing. So we told the cashier we felt very uncomfortable in their store and we were not going to purchase anything and we left. To which the women yells at us well we have to be careful we get a lot of bad people in our store to which I replied and you're assuming were these bad people as well we've only been in the store for a little bit of time. Well good job famous footwear you lost another customer which you seem to need in your empty store maybe it's so empty not only because you're over price items but because of your out of date associates who don't know how to treat people in this day and age. I did call corporate I did make a complaint I'm not one to point fingers and yell discrimination but we definitely felt it. Glad we kept our cool we're above that just sad we had to experience that.

Should definitely update your business hours online especially in 2022 seems lazy that you can't change 9pm to 8pm

This is a great store with great products with decent prices and fantastic customer service. Two problems though. They used to have much better bargains and now their prices are mid market. What really burns my toast though is the limited selection on available sizes. They never seem to have a sufficient stock and variety of sizes.

Spacious. Clean.. usually 2 workers in the store in the mornings..when I go.. friendly.. offering assistance but not hovering.. easygoing atmosphere.. when crowded.. one cashier is on the floor other ringing up customers. PatientJust wished they had more kids..fun styles.. shoes for my 8 yr old. Great selection for my other 2 boys and me.love the sandals.. casual slip ons by Roxy

We were VERY impressed with the customer service we received at this location. My wife needed new work shoes and an employee named Carolyn was working the floor. She politely offered us assistance and helped to make the best choice. At the register, Frank E. was equally amazing. He offered every possible promotion available to us including the opportunity of applying for a FF credit card. Thank you both for stellar service. These two deserve a raise in pay.

7/14/2021: I promised myself I'll always pack a pair of back-up, Globetrotting, hiking shoes, i.e., TEVAS for future Globetrotting Adventures due to my Keens' soles melted while skulking Black Sand Beach, Punalu'u, Big Island, Hawaii; the black sand was SIZZLING HOT! Unfortunately, the Kahului, Maui Store didn't have a pair of TEVAS for my shoe size in order, substituting my damaged Keens; as a result, I made a gross mistake purchasing the Earth Origin Blue Suede shoes which by walking Maui's streets made from coral asphalt, the steel shank support and soles MELTED causing an egregious amount of pain walking and caused the soles of my feet blistering-YIKES! Anyway, I called Famous Footwear's Corporate Offices due to Kahului's FF Manager, Julie's advise, I spoke to a FF's Escalated Customer Service Representative who in turn, gave me 200 Points for the defective Blue Suede shoes which were unreturnable due to wearing them in Maui; however, after receiving the 200 Points, I promptly visited the Sunrise Mall's FF Store: Wow~I'm so BLESSED~There on the shelf were the ONLY SIZE 7 TEVAS available which I immediately grabbed; I wish these TEVAS were in Kahului's FF Store!!!! Nevertheless, I'm happy finding my Globetrotting back-up pair I'll always pack from now on! Mahalo to both Kahului and Sunrise Mall's Famous Footwear Stores' Managers: Both of you are AWESOME!

Can we say racist as hell !!!! Following us around the store! Not even trying to hide it ! Literally standing behind the shoes and laying on counter watching me and my family . When I would look at the employee she would act like she was staring in the distance. We paid with a 100 dollar bill and she checked it like 5 times ! Racist! We are in 2021 and as a black American we can't even shop in peace don't go here and on top of that all their shoes don't look authentic ! I'm calling the manager in the morning !!
