We've had a myriad of issues with our older Toyota RAV4 SUV that's been otherwise amazing and reliable until a few months ago. A friend referred me to GM Specialities and spoke highly of their customer service, great craftsmanship, honesty, integrity, knowledge, and efficiency.
I didn't hesitate to call and had the pleasure of speaking to their general manager, KC. He was every bit as amazing as I've heard.
Unlike other shops that have little to no customer service and want to get you in for a diagnostic appointment at any cost, he was gracious and kind enough to educate me on potentially preventing further damage to the vehicle. While we were hoping it was salvageable, I didn't want to do anything to possibly worsen the situation. Our car has been golden until the alternator, battery, and radiator went out back to back. We did a slightly overdue tuneup and replaced the ignition coils and spark plugs. Unfortunately, it's had a misfire issue we couldn't get to the bottom of. He instructed me to have it towed to the shop and not to drive it as we could potentially ruin the catalytic converter or engine.
KC was able to get us in for an appointment the following day, and their diagnostic estimate pricing is far better than any dealer, and they do a much better job.
Unfortunately, a blown head gasket was our fate, but I'm glad we finally have concrete answers so my family can move on and purchase another reliable and safe vehicle that we'll love and make memories with.
It's clear the shop employees are well educated and taken care of, and I wouldn't hesitate to bring our other vehicle in any time. Great, reliable mechanics have become more and more difficult to find these days. Have faith and trust they'll do great quality, honest work, and do you right.
Remember at the end of the day, life happens, and while some things are outside of our control, your best bet is to always stay on top of routine car maintenance to ensure the maximum life and safety of your vehicle. Routine oil changes and scheduled maintenance are easily forgotten, but your car and checkbook will thank you later!

I will start off by saying the whole crew of “GM Specialties” is professional & on top of there game. KC is very communicative, detailed, honest and trustworthy. As a customer on many occasions I have never been disappointed with my service. From the actual service or just advice, they put their knowledge and pride into your vehicles. These guys will go above and beyond to make sure the job is getting done to the highest standards. I don’t just take my truck anywhere so take it from me, when a there’s a mechanic you need and who to trust, GM Specialties will take of you.

So I struggle with this review….my van broke down a 2003 GMC Savana awd. I’m pretty sure the initial issue was caused by another mechanic which I’m not blaming these guys for. Anyways, the van breaks down and so I need to have my transfer case replaced. KC and his crew found a used replacement and installed it into the vehicle. It drove for only 4000 miles and then the front differential came completely apart. Again, I understand stuff happens….. so I give the go ahead to rebuild the front differential. Then upon being reinstalled, while drive testing in their lot, the transfer case gets taken out again…. All of the other mechanics that I have talked to have said that he should have at least given me a break on the labor cost. Instead I was charged another 1500 in labor for what was most likely the result of some negligence during the reinstallation of the transfer case the first time….. I understand everyone can make mistakes and vehicles can just have outright issues but there should be a baseline of trust when working with your service providers. I did not feel that when I received the bill.
Again I am not the most mechanically knowledgeable person. But to be charged so much multiple times I feel taken advantage of. Took almost 9 months to get my vehicle back…..
I lost 5 grand on the sale of my vehicle for the broken transfer case on top of the 5+ in work I had already paid this shop. Costly lesson to pay for not being knowledgeable… definitely can’t recommend this place.

Best auto shop I have experienced in a long time! Had major repair done a fair price and very timely manner. Friendly respectfully and thought full management to the point of a follow-up call to see how vehicle was performing to my liking. Highly recommended you find out for ourselves...

Very detailed shop. They did not overlook anything regarding work being done. Very impressed with the communication. Very hard to find a shop that keeps you informed. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done on there vehicle.
