It's not inflation, it's price gouging when the inventory is donated. What is the incentive to buying secondhand when it is only marginally cheaper? I saw a dog bowl for seven dollars. Nothing special, ceramic dog bowl. The CEOs Make how much? Sickening. This particular location always has lines despite being fairly well staffed and they really love blocking off access to the merchandise with racks placed in front of racks.

I like coming here because I have a few good memories of thrifting here. It is always a hit or miss when searching for something good at goodwill. . I have found some awesome clothes here before for work, like name brand work shirts. . I also have found a real fur lether jacket here and I was stunned when it fit me perfectly . . Loved the good finds for cups and kitchenware unexpected when I come browse here. . The service here is good and patient with helping or questions. The value of the items is reasonably priced. Hope this review helps. Thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day.

Service is great. Cashiers are wonderful. I've been coming for a long, long time. I would've given this location a five about a year ago. Something changed. I can only assume corporate or new management. Prices are way higher than they used to be, especially electronics. Not everything is a Rembrandt. If what other people are saying here on Yelp is true, if this goodwill allows select pickers first, or any Goodwill for that matter, then that's just bad business and they should post this information so customers don't have their time wasted. It's called transparency.

Things are pretty unorganized and just shoved in places. Could be people doing that and not the staff, however the few times I've been there the staff seems high and the women's bathroom is disgusting. It had dried urine stains all over the seat. I'd suggest finding a different goodwill.

I was not impressed with this Goodwill location. The store is very small, comprised mostly of clothes. I perused the entire store and didn't find a single item that I wanted to buy. That almost never happens while I'm thrifting! Perhaps the other Roseville locations are better?

Not really any good stuff here and everything is overpriced. It was black Friday so we cam in only to be told that 'we don't do black Friday here'.

It would be a 1 if it wernt for the super nice cashiers and some other staff. Ive been going to the auburn location for about 4 years. Prices on target brands are sometimes tagged at retail or even above. I mean what in the world. Christina has been the most consistant person there. Always greets me and others when i walk in and i hear her smiling voice conversing with the older customers. Super sweet. Look up this company before donating they are far from their name in profit and treating their employees. Ive seen many quit over the years due to how they are treated by mgt. If it wernt for christina id stop going here.

I was surprised to find out that they allow "pickers" first shot to go through items before they are put out on the floor: I spoke to a lady that came out of the back room, thinking she was an employee and she told me she didn't work for Goodwill, she was employed at a thrift shop in downtown Sac. No wonder it's hard to come across good finds at this location, they give others an opportunity to go through items and pull them out (for a price I am sure) before regular customers see the merchandise. I notice also this store does not use a color tag system like sone other stores that discount different color tags on different days.

Very friendly staff. Clean store. Prices are over the top. Some items are full retail or internet prices. Believe it or not, people go to thrift stores to get better deals and or can not afford new items. $34.99 for a inflatable sled? 34.99 for an old GPS untested and sealed with packing tape so you can't inspect it. Really, this is not eBay!!! Goodwill as a whole needs standardized pricing. The other goodwill in Roseville which is over twice the size has great and fair prices. Occasionally you may find a good price or deal but is very rare.

Selection - like any thrift store, you have to search and can't predict what they have. Some days are better than others. They don't check if electronics work - found several items with cut wires, missing parts, and an "error" code when plugged in. Value - prices have slowly increased. Pans were under $5 a few months ago, and everything now is priced up by about 40%. Service - Slightly lacking. Tried to test an electronic cooktop but the sticker price was on the heated surface, and I didn't want it to burn the surface. I asked an older staff associate if I could move the sticker to a different spot (to prevent melting plastic IF quickly it heated quickly). She must have heard "remove" and immediately said, "Stickers can't be removed once they're on the floor. Just turn it off when it gets warm".

It's on the smaller side compared to other stores I've been to but I've gotten some nice dresses and clothing here from great brands. All in great condition and priced as I expected. Dresses $5.99 or $8.99. The purse selection was picked over and bare bones, not much good stuff. Shoes were decent but just like any thrift store hunting, you get lucky or not sometimes. The clothing and especially dress section is packed so tight on the racks that it's hard to look through sometimes. Aisles to browse clothing is very narrow, one person at a time is ideal. The homeware section was also small and picked over compared to other locations. No issues with staff as I didn't interact with anyone but I've gone here a handful of times now because I've gotten lucky finding vintage clothing I like and also just overall unique and well made pieces.

Been shopping here since I was a kid and never struggled to find stuff, but recently the past month or two ever since they started hiring (younger) people it seems like their selection has become more barren ?.Not to mention the prices are too expensive to shop, cheaper to go to a ross or flea market.Below is a picture of something I found months ago, but now I go during opening and still can’t find a single item to purchase ?.

I found this goodwill to be older. It was large, but I wasn't drawn in to look further.

Just go and see for yourself: Plenty of interesting items to preview. Books, glassware, items for a den, or gardening, and toys, camping supplies, computer peripherals, bicycles, watches, stereos, bowling balls, pots and pans. Platers, plates, printers and speakers,
