The manager “Jennifer” was very very rude claiming they didn’t have enough people to do online orders when I saw her standing around chatting for 10 minutes with other workers. The manager also claimed she couldn’t do my order because it was in a box on the floor and again she didn’t have anyone to open a box and put it on the shelf and fulfill a customers order! She said she was working on orders from TWO DAYS AGO!! She seemed already annoyed when she walked up to talk to me (probably because I was ruining her talking with other staff memebers and not getting orders done from days ago). I don’t know who made her the manager but I wouldn’t want someone like her to be the manager in my store. If you need an order the same day I WOULD NOT order from this Joann’s!!!! What is the point of same day pickup if they take days to do online orders!! Don’t advertise same day pickup if you don’t have the staff to do so!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS JOANNS AT ALL !!!! Very rude staff !!!!

I was disappointed in the appearance of the store. It looked trashed. Apparently they recently had a delivery of merchandise. It was all over the place. There were only two cashiers so it took me quite a while to pay for my spool of thread and get out of there.It’s not normally like this

The staff has been rather rude and unenthusiastic when I go in recently. Then yesterday I paid for a curbside same day pickup order, and it is still not ready. I called 7 times and someone would pick up and then hang up right away. Then when someone went to pick my order up for me they were told that the employee was unable to find my order and if I wanted it sooner rather than later I would have to come in and pack my order myself. What is the point of the app if the staff is just going to make me put my order together myself?

Had what I wanted and was able to get it with no fuss as it was a secured item. Check out was immediate. There were very few people in the store at the time.

DO NOT ORDER ON-LINE FOR DELIVERY!! Ordered 6 small Halloween items as my foot is busted and wanted to have by Halloween. That was 2 weeks ago (from today 9/12/23). Still in processing state. All items are on the floor, nothing that isn't in supply (ribbon, boo sign, 3 fake black roses, 2 fall garland). After the first week in "still processing" status, oh and paying $10 delivery fee for a $55, no more than 5 lb order) I tried reaching out. No one- it's all via email and once you get your virtual robot generic reply- there are NO CANCELLATIONS for on-line orders. Take back to store for refund. You will NOT get your products or a human response in a timely manner. So save yourself as if, like my busted foot, you can't get to the store yourself, send someone. Their on-line shopping and delivery is a joke and basically a lie and rip off!!

I've shopped various JoAnn stores over the decades spending thousands. Yesterday I bought a remnant, pre-wrapped. At home I saw it had snags and runs in it. I attempted to return/exchange it but was denied as I had no receipt. Two noteworthy things: 1- Per federal law "retailers are REQUIRED to accept returns only if the sold good is defective...and per CA law, where this was purchased, "Where an item fails, shops DO NOT have the right to demand a receipt". 2- JoAnn has a "reward" program. To receive rewards one must have the checker scan the bar code of your account on their app. I assumed this kept record of purchases. NO. For a record of purchases one must provide the checker with phone number. The two options are not linked, ummm. I suggest you use phone number, I've never received a JoAnn reward. I can't even find info about it on the app. If one who has spent thousands upon thousands can't return/exchange a faulty product there is surely ill sentiment towards customer. Employees at the location I presently shop ( though only for quick necessities now) are fantastic save for one. These wonderful employees can only abide by corporate dictate. But if not for the sentiment of decent business JoAnn should still be instructing employees to follow the laws. They should also be clear about their "rewards" program and be clear about the fact that by trying to use it one disables one self from a record of purchases. It disappoints me that JoAnn has always seemed so very reluctant to honor typical customer respect.

Much better store than Michaels or Hobby Lobby! Great selections and customer service. Love going here for yarn, fabric, and jewelry supplies.

WARNING: avoid their custom framing and just make the drive to Sacramento for a private framing company. Not only is it about $100 cheaper but this store took 6 months of me constantly pestering them to do a massively bad job stretching my painting. When I took it to the private framer they did it same day but had to stretch my painting in a way that I lost almost an inch of the image because of sharpie marks and damages on the edges. He was so shocked by how poorly I was treated and how bad the painting looked when I brought it in. It has now been several more months and I still feel like they're making me fight tooth and nail for $250 of reimbursement when they significantly devalued my $700 painting. I just want this stressful and devastating affair to all to be over already.
