Always amazing staff, clean environment, and well maintained store! Today my hubby and I went in for the millionth time and were helped by Courtney! She was just the kindest, most welcoming and helpful associate I can honestly say I've ever met. This is a great location with amazing staff, especially Courtney!! Thank you Roseville Petco!!

I had a great experience at Petco recently, especially with their grooming service for my dog Bentley. McKayla did the grooming and was not only friendly but did an excellent job. Bentley looks fantastic, and the overall service made my visit enjoyable. I appreciate the positive atmosphere and the great care they provided. For $85 you get a nail buff and trim, shampoo/conditioner, a haircut and he got his glands taken care of. I added a tip on there but that's not a bad price at all!

I took my small dog in for haircut and was quoted $55 and ended up paying $110 ($20 tip). Wouldn't have tipped but didn't know the price until I got to the register! He needs a haircut cut again and it's only been 3 weeks!

I took my older dogs here for vaccinations. They were over due and I didn't have records. I was doing it because I needed to board them while I moved. The vet tech insisted on extending their vaccines out to 3 visits making it impossible for me to get them done in time. As an old dog who really only needed rabies it was unnecessary trouble and ecpense. I told the vet tech I needed them done in one day but she refused. Unnecessary caution causing me extra appointments right in the middle of my move. Then I tried to schedule a grooming appointment and Petco insists on a vet permission because my dog has idiopathic epilepsy (has mild seizures once every few years) So they need permission for a bath!?? They keep setting up road blocks for me and I have no idea why you would do that to a customer. You're not supposed to make it harder for me to give you my money, yet you do. Sticking with Petsmart.

I want to recognize Priscilla (Prissy) she is a fantastic groomer. I bring my two kitties to her. They are both Persians,Sassette and Dante! Now Sassette is easy. She is a tabby Persian, small and delicate and is the sweetest cat and easy to Groom because she's so sweet and Prissy does a beautiful job on her! Now Dante is a beautiful, black Persian, Sassette's brother, BUT he is the opposite...He's got a bad temper he hisses at her ( well anybody) swipes at her with his paws, (but I must say he keeps his nails in and he only swipes with his paws BUT still he is a handful!!!Other groomers can barely deal with him...Basically, will only give him a bath, and that's it, because of his disposition, and being so difficult HOWEVER Prissy is wonderful with him, as difficult as he is!!! I am so appreciative for her working with Dante under these conditions , I am telling you that she is just the absolute best! She shampoos him trims his nails, gives him a sanitary cut, cleans his ears, trims him a little bit, because too much and he just goes crazy, (so my son and I trim him as best we can before we bring him to Prissy) I so highly appreciate and give Prissy a 10++ I also tip her extra for all of her extra care with him and I am so so so glad I found her ! Also, Courtney at the checkout she was wonderful and I find all the employees at the PETCO in Roseville. Wonderful.!!! Sincerely, Antoinette

Not trustworthy. I showed up ahead of time for the 10/12/23 vaccination appointment at the Roseville store: 1917 Douglas Blvd, Roseville, CA. We all (me, the dogs, another customer, and two veterinary professionals) waited for the check-in girl to upsell a walk-in. Waited long enough to miss my appointment as well as realizing the situation was likely a symptom of a bigger problem. I’m not trusting a business to inject my dogs which is neither compassionate nor organized. My advice is customer service training for all involved (Vetco texter, vet assistant, and check-in girl) except the vet who, like myself, has been around for a while.

Very friendly & helpful staff. We visited the Vetclinic and while waiting at least 3 staff of Petco came buy & asked to say hi to my furry family member and then asked if chicken was okay to feed it. That was so impressionable and appreciated.Kudos to the current staff & Vetclinic team. ✌?❤️

Fantastic and pleasant customer service every time I shop at this store! Store associates are helpful and guide you through your product selection and purchase. I would highly recommend anyone to purchase their pet food at this store. They offer high end food for all of our fur babies! Thank you for the great service

The picture will speak for itself. On September 16th, 2023 I took my dog to the Petco groomer at 1917 Douglas blvd in Roseville CA. The groomer was completely negligent and sliced his tongue with scissors and my dog required an emergency surgery under general anesthesia to amputate part of his tongue as a result. The emergency veterinarian said they had never seen or heard of an injury like this before from a groomer. Management couldn't offer a logical explanation, and it's because this injury is illogical and insane. While Petco paid the medical bills, as is absolutely obligatory, they have offered nothing in compensation to my family besides crap items from the store like a dog cone! A dog cone for an oral injury. Perhaps so he doesn't lick his own tongue? How stupid. How would you feel if they did this to your family member? Beware this establishment and avoid it at all costs. Your dog might go in for a groom and come out mutilated.

I had a question regarding dog treats and the employee stopped what she was doing to take me to the area. Super nice and knowledgeable. The cashier was great too helping to answer my questions regarding the 25% off promotion. Love this store!

This is my ever changing open and honest review, I've gone from 5 to 1 to 4 to 3 starts etc...I run a pet care business which is why i keep this constantly updated. That and given I have a solid 1.5yr relationship with them and have spent thousands and thousands here along with being a monthly vital care premier contributer, and donate the max at every purchase. Since I have to work late, 98% of the time I come here is 5 to 10 mins before closing. Of which I ALWAYS MAKE A STRONG EFFORT to both acknowledge I know they are closing and absolutely, sincerely and whole heartedly appreciate them working with silly mobile pay issues that sometimes cause them having to work until 9:10 at the latest. In the 1.5 yes, EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE had been AMAZING! Them telling me its not a problem at all don't stress at all, we are more than happy to help you. Tonight? It wasn't like that at all and with an employee I've yet to come across. I finished by 9:05, made a comment about wishing I can also donate to Stagg, and got nonresponse, then asked, was my vital care premiere discount applied. Was told no, it didn't. AND she left it at that with no attempt at correcting it. THAT SAID she might be going through something...I'm merely being an honest reviewer, I'm not upset at her...I'm conveying that she was very obviously irritated by my even coming in at 8:52pm and was that way until the end. Again, she may have some personal things she's going through like we all do. I'm only even writing this because in the 21 months I've been coming here...it was SO out of place.

I brought my dog in there for a grooming at 2pm they told me it would take 3 to 4 hours for her to be done.. I asked them to call me 30 minutes before she is done so I could be there to pick her up.. I never received a call and when I got there she was working on a different dog.. I asked if Missy was done at 6pm four hours. I was told they haven’t even started her.. the girl was like do you want your dog and before I could say anything she went back and got her and basically threw her at me. I asked to speak to a manager and she slammed the door in the room she was doing the hair cut and rudely got Brenda the manager. I explained what happened and she said she would talk to the general manager and get back to me.. I never heard back from Brenda or anyone regarding my experience.. I am not to impressed.. it wasn’t my first time there but it was my second bad experience there.. I’m not sure why if you have a appointment why they can’t have the job done in 4 hours.. it just means she was sitting in a crate for 4 hours for nothing..
