I can see why they’re the top rated clothing exchange store on Google. it was because of their Google reviews that I visited their store to shop & sell clothing. if you want to sell a lot of goodies, come around November. depending on what you have, they may be at capacity for Merch. which is good news if you’re shopping for quality on a budget! Thank you, Landon & The lady in all pink 10/4/24 - these exceptional people helped my husband & I All morning & late afternoon. Awesome people! Please give them a good review after your visit. We need to support GOOD customer service !

I just sold and bought some clothes yesterday. They forgot to put a shirt in the bag but charged me for it and also forgot to give me my 15% discount on because I sold clothes. So really I got jipped and scammed out of $7.
It's only 7 dollars, I'm more upset about being charged for a shirt that didn't make it into my bag than forgetting my 15% discount. But hopefully they can find my shirt to give to me or refund me my money...they should have cameras pointed to their cash register to know what happened to my shirt, right?
I bought it at closing last night and haven't moved my clothes out of the bag...I questioned it hours earlier too but didn't check my receipt till now about only having 5 items in my bag when I know I bought 6...

I went to this Plato‘s closet location because I love the one back home in Monterey so I thought I’d give this location a try and let me tell you the difference in the management truly shows. Not to mention the day I showed up to shop around a larger woman working there I believe she is the manager happen to be yelling (screaming) acting very unprofessional at one of the store workers and I felt so bad for the employee. It was just so unprofessional and the fact that she yelled at this young girl, had her tears, everybody literally was just in shock. I wish I would’ve had my phone out to record it and post on social media to show how awful she acted because I would never come back to this place again…the two items I did have in my hand, I left them because there’s no way I wanted to purchase from a store where management was treating their employees like this , and I will never go back again. Whoever this lady was, definitely needs to learn how to communicate professionally with her employees and not do it in a manner that caused such chaos in the store. I was embarrassed for her, and I felt horribly for the poor young girl… anyways I hope the girl quit because she should never be treated this way by anyone and I am never going back to this location again!

I recently visited this store to sell some of my clothes and was met with an inconsistent and frustrating experience. The initial employee who helped me went through my items and marked the ones they were interested in purchasing. I was advised to wash these items and bring them back. I followed their instructions, returned with the cleaned clothes, and waited over an hour for assistance.
Unfortunately, when a different employee finally attended to me, they decided not to purchase most of the previously marked items, including my brand-new Vans, which they only offered $8 for. This left me feeling like my time had been wasted.
It seems that the decision to accept items largely depends on the preferences and biases of the staff members on duty. I've heard from others that they tend to favor items from people they know or those who share their style preferences. This type of favoritism is unprofessional and creates an unwelcoming atmosphere.
While the employee who helped me check in was friendly, the overall experience was inconsistent and disheartening. It would be beneficial for the store to implement clearer guidelines and consistency in their buying process to ensure a fair and respectful experience for all customers.

Love shopping here! Prices are amazing! Always have new items out and I love there themed drops especially the y2k themes! Lots of name brand as well as mall brands at low prices which saves you money then buying it new!Payout is great as long as you bring in trendy pieces! And super easy/fast to earn up points to get rewards! Drop off is usually pretty fast depending what time of day you go! Sometimes taking an hour or a few hours when they’re busy. Staff is really friendly and owners are really nice!Love getting items from here for my small business @dizzylizzyshopp on insta!
