Here's what you need to know about Quest Diagnostics: They have convenient locations, so try to find the closest to you and schedule early in the week, early in the day, and arrive early to check in. Usually, you'll get in quickly, but sometimes the wait can get longer, especially later in the day or week. The staff is skilled and trying their best to be helpful, so gratitude and patience goes a long way. They know you (probably) don't want to be there and try to get you in and out asap. Overall, our visits have been positive, but we've went in with a positive attitude too, and sometimes that makes all the difference in stressful situations!

Debra!! She held the front down so wonderfully. As a person who works with patients/customer service, she was amazing. Multiple people coming and out and she was on it. Her demeanor and professionalism was welcoming, reassuring and helpful. She made my experience so positive. I unfortunately forgot the gentleman's name that took care of me in the back for my labs, but it was fast and efficient. Nice guy! I will come here for any future testing/labs needed.

absolutely the worst front desk person, indicates immediately she doesn't know if she can squeeze me in as a walk in at noon!!! horrible front desk etiquette and very unprofessiona! (sloppy) sign says they take walk ins.. I've gone to several quests locally with no problem walking in.. California healthcare at its fines then a staff that is not trained well equals a complete horrible unprofessional environment . would never come here again!! totally unprofessional staff..

I scheduled an appointment for lab work, the location closest to me was booked. I fasted starting after dinner the night before until my appointment at 2:20pm the next day. I drove all the way out there to see a sign on the door saying closed today for routine maintenance work. Really, maintenance work, no repair trucks around, no service technicians around and curiously the windows were papered so you couldn't see inside. Just guessing----maybe some employees didn't show up and those that did wanted to get the paperwork done?? A notification was sent 3 hours before the appointment but I don't live with my email and did not see the notice. A text would have been much better. Very poor planning on their part.

Very disorganized. I was denied my appointment that I had made in advance because of "no order on file." When I went to explain, I was dismissed and felt rushed out- they said I had to come back. I explained to the phlebotomist that my labs are day sensitive, and he didn't seem to care. Very frustrating and emotional when you're dealing with health-related items. I called my doc right away, and they confirmed the order was on file the entire time. With this location's short hours, I simply couldn't make it back. Mistake are fine, but the lack of empathy was disappointing since my lab results were needed on a specific day. I'm not here to complain, but I feel this was really poor service and wouldn't want anyone else to experience something similar.

As far as labs are concerned I've been to many many labs all across sac region and the Bay Area and even other states. I think they do a good job here, they're efficient, have a good system down of who does the paperwork and who sticks. Most importantly they're able to accommodate walk-ins in reasonable time while handling their apts as well. Wish their office was bigger though it feels crammed. Apts are really limited and hard to schedule, but that makes sense considering there's only 2 employees here.

This location is not the most convenient to my house, but I go out of my way to use this lab any time I need bloodwork. The staff at this location are super professional and always friendly. Barbara at the front desk and Blake the technician are great at their jobs and should be complimented on the difference that they make to the patients that come in for services. My mother scheduled an appointment at this location for 8:30am. There information states they open at 7am. When my mother arrived the doors were locked and there were plenty of other people waiting as well. REAL great business being run here ?

I used to value the quest organization and I still do value the care team, they see me on time, are courteous and efficient. They are awesome. Their company has adopted a new billing system (can't call it new since its been trying to be built for over a year) and it is HORRIBLE. I cannot count the number of hours I have wasted dealing with their poor accounting. Who builds a billing system with no history? They just demand money over and over and no way to show they are double and triple billing me. I have wasted hours on the phone with people who cannot clarify their billing nor bill any out of state insurance correctly. I'll miss my care team and the cool app but i'm not putting up with this billing system anymore. Where's the class action attorney's on this. These guys need a wakeup call.

Wonderful, well run and organized. The staff is well versed and professional, great at explaining tests/ specimen collection and billing. Extremely clean and well maintained!

This Quest is very clean and well kept. They had all the chairs appropriately distanced and I had the option to wait in my car upon check in. The woman at the front desk was very sweet and friendly. The phlebotomist, Blake, was also very nice. He was super gentle with the blood draw and I didn't even feel a thing. I just wish they had some small tables to our your belongings on. Other than that, great facility! Will be coming back here!

On Monday Barbara made an easy decision for me that I will never go back to this location.She has been very condescending more than once with me, the other times not even dealing with a problem. This time on Monday 9-20,her attitude while I needed to troubleshoot with her a problem about my insurance and the way it was in the system, she didn't like that I was seeking clarity.She was very condescending then for her to try to turn this around and in front of other people waiting, very abruptly say I'm hostel when I said I don't like your attitude, is not an employee I want greeting me when I come into this office.She has been rude and condescending other times as well which I just let slide thinking maybe she's just having a bad day. I suppose if you never have to discus or work through a problem she's tolerable. But watch out if you ever have a question she doesn't answer in a reasonable way or worse yet tells you to have a seat when your question wasn't acknowledged and you have to ask again.I'm a long time business owner in Carmichael with tons of positive reviews for Studio Hair Design, so much so that a Google search brings me up on the first page with a near 5 star review. I have a positive track record with no complaints to State Board for 20 plus years, much less for hostility.So whose the hostile one?I won't be back to this office.
