Most recent experience at pharmacy was great, 180 degrees different from the last two visits which were awful, but this is the nearby location that had the vacc I needed. The employees this time were new to me. They were very courteous, kind, on time, and the person who gave the shot even asked if I had any questions -- none of which happened in two prior visits, including one where employees there refused without explanation to accept credit card payment or honor my appt, and another time when a person who did give me a shot was so surly and rude, I informed the manager. The people today were very helpful and very nice. Much appreciated.

Came into this Safeway last week. A couple of the advertised items they were out of, even though it was Superbowl weekend and only a Thursday. I went to the Deli to get some meat and cheese. The young man working cut everything super thick (nowhere near the thickness you'd expect for a sandwich). I then went to the bakery, it looked like a tornado had hit it, most of the bins were empty, there weren't even any sandwich rolls (and this was mid day). I was going to get a loaf of sheepherders bread but I noticed how inconsistent the loaves were- some were large and some were very small- I guess depending on who baked them. Sheepherders bread shouldn't be super small, it obviously wasn't proofed long enough. Then I went to checkout. I asked the cashier how I get the "clipped deals," she wasn't really interested in explaining that to me and I still ended up paying the sales priced without the clipped deals. I left feeling like I won't want to return to this store. Too many other better options in the area.

I'm a person who gives pros and cons and not to complain on yelp. As a customer for over 40 years of all Safeway stores, overall they're really good and with great customer service. This Safeway is very convenient to the residents to the area but needs work and does not live up to the Safeway standards. Pros- employees are very nice, especially in the deli section and the cashier. Store is overall clean and well stocked. Cons- the produce section is deplorable. Avocados that should have been thrown away last week, but still for sale. Broccoli, Limp. Cilantro, Rotten. Lots of empty shelf's in produce. Isles are very narrow and hard to navigate. In front of every checkout line has bulky product displays which are way too big for the narrow isle. Hard to stand in line and be out of everyone's way passing by. Shopping on a busy Sunday with one checker. Bagger was very slow because he was on his phone the whole time until the cashier shook her head at him. Some customers are cut throat with shopping carts. They are in Mach 3 not looking around corners and will run into you and look at you as if it's your fault. They will tailgate when you're moving normal 3 stars are very generous

I've been debating leaving this review. I used to think highly of this Safeway location but it is going downhill fast. While most of the employees are professional, some fall way below bare minimum. A couple weeks ago, I was in the store and listened to an employee, I think her name was Cheri, I didn't get a good look at her name tag. She was very loudly embarassing another customer saying her boyfriend is annoying and she needs to keep him in check. That poor lady! She looked so embarassed! This is horrible! Why does Safeway let their employees talk like that to customers? ESPECIALLY loudly like that. If there is an issue, pull the customer aside or something and say it privately. There were customers around and we were all watching. I felt bad for that lady.This store needs to do better. And start drug testing their employees. You'd be surprised what you hear when they are high and at work. And the disgusting things they say to each other.The girl in the deli with the obnoxiously long eyelashes never seems to want to help anyone, like we are interrupting her or bothering her. She will cut meat on the same thing as cheese that was just on it. She doesn't listen to what amount or size of what you are buying. She just does her own thing.And you can't go and complain because they remember your face and you get treated with disdain when you are back in.

The deli does the bare minimum for their customers. If you ask to have thin slices they try to get away with super thick slices. I asked “please give me the absolute thinnest slices you can do”. She first gives me the super thick slice and says is that ok? I said “not even close this is literally one of the biggest slices ive ever seen”. She says “that was a 5 on the machine, lets try a 4”. It was nearly the exact same thickness. The next piece they said was the thinnest the machine could do which was a complete lie cause ive gotten much thinner there in the past, ONLY ONCE, out of like 10 times. The worker actually had the gall to say “well you can cut it in half”. While this is going on the manager started getting vocal with a completely polite customer and made a scene. So speaking to a manager was pointless because you could see where this lack of performance came from. What a complete joke that place is. Me and my wife will not be returning.

I've shopped only here since they opened. The wife would only shop at Winco to save a couple bucks. Recently she has come to my side and now will only shop here with me. The nicest people and helpful employee's (friends) are here, the customers are all happy and being a member prices are more than fair for the quality of the products. I see the staff every Friday-Saturday removing the older merchandise (probably selling to Winco) and they're all very happy people. Please don't think you're saving money going elsewhere just to end up sick and disappointed. Love this store!

Bakery never has a good selection- in fact it has nothing every time I go in there. The front doors don’t work. I asked a bagger to help me put my groceries in my cart (I’m pregnant) and she threw them into my cart and stomped off with an attitude. The manager seems not to care. I’m just over this location. Unfortunately this location is minutes from my house. Tempted to get ahold of regional.

The sunscreen was a homerun. The water was a touchdown. The overall conversation with excellent customer service was great like a slam dunk. Half the team was beat before the first opponents offense at these types of games one of the next three games that was special here. Parking was excellent.

Very disappointed in this store. I have lived in this neighborhood for 17 years. The past three years this Safeway has plummeted in customer service. From the meet dept to lack of checker. Usually only one checker forcing customers to use the self check outs. So if you have alcohol you have to wait much longer. There is in 10 items or less. The self checkouts, half of them don’t have bags to carry your items. Walking in to the store if I’m shopping for only a few items I have to search for a hand cart.I keep giving this store a chance because it’s conveniently close but disappoints very time.I tend to go to Raleys for my meets, Riley’s has a bigger better selection of meets and service. Or the Nugget.Sorry Safeway. I have you a year to up your customer service.Bye bye.Repl;Unfortunately, after two years, make that three years of declined service. I seriously doubt my one little review is going to change Safeway‘s customer service. I worked for the Grocery industry for 16 years myself. I’m sure your sales are down like everybody else so you have a low labor budget. And it shows. There’s more, I’m sure other people can visually detect the lack of customer service and labor. Parking lot is usually full of grocery carts. The staff has changed and moved to other companies. I have actually run into them and heard their stories. Of course, this does happen over time. But it also shows the decline in the company resulting in long-term workers saying no more and moved on. There are too many grocery stores within the geographical vicinity that actually staff their stores. Again Safeway has only one available checker. Which forces, us the customers that brings revenue to the store, to be forced to go to the self check out. Which is not clean or stocked on a regular basis with bags.There was a female employee working the self check out that was kind enough to help me because I was buying a bottle of wine.Otherwise, if I was a customer, afraid to ask, I would’ve had to wait in a very long line. A lot of times people don’t want to have to ask. But on the inside their fuming.I am explaining a lot of the details so that the company will understand what customers are actually going through. I’m not angry… But there have been way too many times. I’ve gone into the store with poor service. Hopefully for our community Safeway will get their act together. But until then.The nugget and Raleys have a bigger selection, more employees with shorter lines and it feels nice and clean when I go into those stores versus SafewayPhotos to come…..

I usually have a great experience at this Safeway and I buy all of my gift cards here every week. Unfortunately, I came across the laziest cashier that Safeway employs. He (Christian) took a look at my six gift cards and waved me off to another register. First time this has happened in a solid year. Terribly lazy. The “back-up” cashier apologized and took my money.
