The store itself was super cute and had many of the things on stock but when I had entered the store with a hottopic gothic purse nothing seemed wrong but as i went to leave an employee ran outside and asked me if I was going to pay for my purse. I was so confused and was like "what do you mean? This purse isn't from this store." He proceeded to glare at me and point to my keychains which had cardboard on themand tried to say that their tags were the bags.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Bought over $412.00 worth of Merch, forgot to use a 20% off coupon was told by the District manager "It's not my fault YOU forgot your coupon. I'm not going to return anything so you can use it."Guess again we will take our business elsewhere. Return it all!They did.........We went to another Spirit down the road purchased all the identical items got the 20% off plus 10% military discount which was never brought up before!

Whole team was super friendly and nice. Stacey was so sweet, we will be coming back to this specific location (even though we have a few closer Spirit Halloween’s) just for the customer service!

So I just left the store the employee Serena was following me around giving me nasty looks made me completely uncomfortable and when I did ask a question I was ignored and walked away and then I noticed her with her husband or something boyfriend I don’t know and her kid just playing around but then was talking back-and-forth and looking at me like they were talking about me and it just made me feel really uncomfortable I will not go back into that store again I felt completely disrespected and somebody needs to do something about that lady shouldnt be working at a Halloween store where families go to take there kids costume shopping. It was completely uncalled for.

Got followed around the store the entire time. Customer service not very good. Small store. Then went over to the Standford Ranch location. Way bigger and a larger inventory. The customer service was great as well. So I recommend the Rocklin location.

I spend a lot of money at Spirit Halloween every year, so tonight's experience was pretty off-putting. This year, I wanted to be Daenerys from "Game of Thrones". I bought all of the accessories ahead of time, but I didn't have the money to buy the actual costume until a week before Halloween. I tend to fall between a medium and a large, but the store only had one medium costume left and no dressing rooms. I decided to take the risk of buying it and trying it on when I got home, even though the cashier had notified me that I would not be able to return it and that I could exchange it later (didn't give me a specific date). I tried it on as soon as I got home and it didn't fit. I have an extremely busy schedule, and was not able to get to the store until today. As soon as I walked in, a couple in casual clothing immediately yelled out to me that the store wasn't accepting returns, so I said I wasn't there for a return, but for an exchange. They looked at each other like they weren't aware of that and kept saying that they could help me. After a long day at work, I thought this couple was just messing with me, so I ignored them, but the woman ended up saying she was the store owner. She got an employee to come over and help me and the employee told me that they were not accepting exchanges, that I needed to have come in by the 28th. I asked how that could be since an employee had only told me last week that I could, and she made me feel d*** for not bringing it back as soon as I found out it didn't fit. I can understand why a Halloween store wouldn't accept returns the day after Halloween, but I am pretty upset that I couldn't at least exchange the $45.99 costume for something else. I am also upset because as I was leaving, I heard the "store owner", who was smoking inside, say, "And THAT'S why you are all getting bonuses this year!"

I will never order online, and am not sure I will ever go in person. Ordered mid-September and still have not received my costume or even a shipping notice. You can't call (phone lines are closed), I have emailed and as of now I have been on their "live chat" for 4 hours with no response. I am so disappointed. Status says "allotted" which isn't even an outcome according to their "frequently asked questions". Even if I receive it by Halloween I wouldn't be able to return as it is too close to Halloween and my son needs a costume now. This company as no customer service whatsoever.
