The Grounds, the newly re-imagined Placer County Fairgrounds, is a huge and versatile venue for events of all sizes. The campus is flexible with spacious indoor and outdoor areas, a commercial kitchen, and ample parking. Visitors find it a great spot for events like volleyball tournaments, home and garden shows, concerts, and fireworks. The venue is kept up nicely, appearing new and clean. It offers good air conditioning, clean restrooms, and convenient amenities like nearby beer bars and vending machines. It is also a dog friendly location. There is a good amount of space for activities like dancing, though some note that more seating could be helpful. The main criticisms involve fees and logistics. There is a charge for parking and an entry fee for events. Exiting the massive parking lot after large events can be a terrible experience, with unclear directions and congestion. Some guests find the ticket and wristband system inconvenient, and occasional issues with payment systems are noted. The venue can become very crowded and exhausting during big events, with some noise bleed between activities in the large spaces. Despite these points, staff members are described as very nice, and the grounds remain a popular location for a wide variety of gatherings.
Stang productions event. Not enough food no chairs. The craft vendors didn't seem to make many sales. The Dj, dancers, acrobats, lighting and sound system were top of the line!!

Attended 4th July fireworks. Good view and fireworks were fun. Removed 2 star - after fireworks exiting the parking area was a terrible experience. People were cutting off each other, sneaking out from back as exit direction were unclear and not posted throughout the parking area. Thanks!
