Great selection of interesting Asian merchandise. Stopped here on a whim, and stumbled onto some amazing hot tea. They also have a fantastic selection of mushrooms and other produce.

In our area, there are numerous Asian markets. To distinguish between them, it's worth noting that 168 Market is essentially identical to 99 Ranch since they share the same ownership and management. Both stores offer a similar range of products, with 168 Market often featuring more Taiwanese items. Just a few blocks away, GW Market specializes in products from mainland China, offering items not typically found at 168 Market or 99 Ranch. For those looking to buy in bulk, Galleria Market is geared towards wholesalers, offering a wide selection of items in larger quantities but with a somewhat smaller variety.

They just lost a customer. Because their greatest security who will pick and choose who he want to check at the door. He will stop and grab you if you don't speak his language.

Same chain as the Ranch 99, but oddly, things are significantly cheaper than Ranch 99. Recommend!

"We absolutely love coming to 168 Market! The store is always clean and tidy, creating a pleasant shopping experience. Despite being a popular spot, it's never too busy, which is fantastic. Moreover, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome every time we visit. Highly recommended!"

Nice clean wide aisles with a great variety of Asian produce. There are small stores of fast food, bakery, and appliance. Prices are competitive in general.

If you are looking for a place to shop for Asian groceries, this is the place to go. If you are looking for some awesome Indonesian food, this is also the place as well. Tucked away at the entrance is 62 Street Food, where you can enjoy awesome tasting Gado Gado or kuih teow goreng. Maybe you just want to get some bakery items from them. Either way, just sit down, enjoy a meal and grocery shop afterward to burn those calories all in one trip.

A lot of good prices, although the item organization can use some work. Hard to match some items to their prices especially if they're similar looking like the container or brand.

Good food. However the parking slot is kind of messy. There are a ton of people who don't care about your safety.

168 is an Asian market that opened in 2006, similar to GW, 99 Ranch, Seafood City, H-mart but mostly geared to the Chinese community. The prices are grossly inflated but if keep an eye out on the ad and shop that way then, you are ahead of the game! Lol. It was clean and they also offer pastries on one side, (you know like the 85c ones?) Oh, they also have a Indonesian restaurant +62 street food. I need to check them out soon.

Loved their spicy California roll at the side deli inside the market. After getting the sushi roll you have to pay for it at the market cashier

One stop shop for asian groceries. Was able to find galangal and lemon grass which aren't always the easiest to find. Added bonus of going there is the Indonesian restaurant inside the store.

I like the market which has variety of fresh products at reasonable price but I do not like the customer service agent at CS counter. I purchased $10 Mega Millions, I gave credit card they did not accept and asked Cash only. I did not know, no signage to let you know they accept cash only at that counter… luckily I had a debit card with me otherwise did not know how to pay $10 for them when the lady was very rude to state that no way to return the lottery ticket that I purchased.l…I had to use my debit card to cash out with fee to pay. The lady there, short hair one her English is hard to understand, not friendly even rude as my impression… One more thing I asked for Mega Millions she gave me Powerball….just a small transaction but too much hassle.

I only visited the Lao Zi Hao snack station, it was fantastic. I brought pickled plum, olives, and three different kinds of beef jerkies for my kids. I will visit it again when I return to LA.
