Stater Bros. Market has been our "go to" market for years. Their produce is always fresh & available. Marcus, the manager is well known to all the community and his shoppers. He's always there to say hello & make sure you're finding everything you need. My mother is always asking for Staters chocolate milk & Marcus is always doing his best to have it stocked. They always have checkers available when a line forms, which is important to me.

Stater Bros is always a great experience. From the fruits and vegetables to their amazing meats I'm always pleased to take the drive here. Their overall prices are also affordable. I usually buy anything that is a Stater brand because I know it's a little bit lower in prices but still GOOD. I have no complaints about their stores aside from wishing there was one closer to me.Thanks for the great service, clean and welcoming atmosphere along with the affordable prices and food quality.

I used to work here for this location about a year and a half ago. Tanya the cashier is the only sole reason I left this job and I've heard from multiple other employees that she's had issues with several other employees yet they don't fire her. See the main issue I have with this is she is in her 40's if not older and I was freshly 18 when I got my job there. For her to be so childish and gossip just like a teenager is absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention she had a terrible attitude all the time towards me she would yell at me in front of customers. She needs a reality check to be honest because the way she acts has just been excused by the management here but it truly is not okay. I'm not sure if it's just because they don't see her acting this way so they don't do anything ... but she was very disrespectful towards me throughout my entire time working there I can't even think of one good memory I've had with her. I mean seriously Marcus how many of your employees have complained about this woman yet she still works there??? Figure it out man because you lost multiple employees I wouldn't be surprised if it had everything to do with her and how she treats the new hires. I haven't been to the store in a while so I'm not sure if anything's changed but from what I remember they allowed her to mistreat me and as somebody who was new I understand it can be frustrating if I'm not doing my job correctly but as I said I was new to the job still getting a hang of it she could've nicely pulled me aside but instead yelled at me from three cash registers away in front of multiple people.

This is our local grocery. I've been coming here for the last two years .We buy all our food products here, meats and vegetables ,produce .The meats are top quality, the meat manager knows his meats very knowledgeable , so are the other managers, Oscar and Marcus. All the clerks and employees are courteous and friendly and always helpful. We usually never have a problem, and if we do, we will return it with no complaints at all like, maybe the strawberries are not sweet enough. They have fresh flowers for those special occasions They're open early and close late 6:00 am to 11:00 pm there's plenty of parking. The handicap stalls are located right at the entrance

So today wife and daughter and I went to our local stater brothers which will be the 1st and last time we'll ever go there. My wife went to the meet apartment we wanted a certain cut of beef that was on sale today last day ask the butcher to cut it a certain way he said he didn't know if we could do that he went to go ask his partner his partner rolled his eyes and was annoyed. So the butcher came back and told my wife that she would have to wait because he is busy right now so my wife waited she waited a long time she was observing him and he wasn't really doing nothing but staying around and talking. As soon as the butcher which his name is Michael H. So somebody put the meat on the counter and just left it there and didn't say a word to my wife and there was no other customers waiting for any type of meat whatsoever, If you don't like your job you shouldn't be working with customers like I said earlier this would be the last time we would be going to stater brothers I rather give my money to a competitor that's gonna treat us well then dealing with rude people!!!!

We usually visit this location before going home. My son takes study class at Alpha Science next door. Its not crowded at 9:00 pm and the service is pretty good. There is always something that we pop in for that we need. The store brand products are a good value.

I was in the Rowland Heights area yesterday evening. I needed to make some deposits at Wells Fargo Bank (WFB). Out of nowhere, my tummy started to act up on me so I needed to find the closest restroom. Luckily, Stater Bros was in the same plaza as WFB... thank goodness! Deposits had to wait... tummy was more important at the moment LOL.I don't want to get into specific details of my ladies room visit LOL. Restroom was very clean though. Thank you so much Stater Bros for being present at the right time when I needed you most! I am grateful to you. Before heading out, I did stroll over to the cookies section and found myself getting some snickerdoodle cookies. I just ate a couple of them today morning. They are good, but tasted like snickerdoodle with some wheat in it. Almost like a vegan cookie, but it is not vegan. It was indeed a different non-vegan breed of snickerdoodle... that's for sure.Staff was pleasant. Store was really clean and organized. Transaction was smooth. Growing up, I've always enjoyed shopping at Stater Bros. They are just the perfect neighborhood mid-size supermarket. Happy Stater Brother'ing!

The goods in this supermarket are orderly, the manager is very nice, there are a lot of staff in the store, the goods are relatively fresh and the price is fair.

I shop here very seldomly. Whenever I do, I'm reminded of how clean and well-organized this store is, and have a pleasant time browsing the aisles. For starters, the things I like about this store is the compact size shopping carts, the manager, and how I don't feel self conscious paying with EBT. Since the pandemic, I applied for food assistance and remember the first time ever using EBT right here in this store. I was a bit embarrassed, but the cashier was nice while guiding me with the process. However, like a previous reviewer mentioned, the cashiers can be a hit or a miss, and I agree with the "selective greeting" that tends to happen here. But when they're nice, they're nice. Today though, I had a bit of an odd encounter in the deli dept. I checked to see what was available and proceeded to ask for 1 lb of ham, but the young chubby guy behind the counter just softly says "no..." I was confused by his response, so I asked him "No?" and he repeats the same weird "nooo..." and just continues to stare at me while gently shaking his head. I thought he was joking and was waiting for him to snap out of and go get my order, but he kept staring at me and the awkwardness continued. He then decides to ask me "you said 20 lbs?" which made me clarify my request, and that's when he goes "last time someone asked me for 25 lbs and I said no." He finally heads over to the cutting machine, and less than 20 seconds later I hear him say "You said half lb right? Someone already cut it up, here you go!" At this point I just took the half lb and left. Maybe the masks make conversations harder to understand, but a more professional approach would have been to double check with me first when they thought they heard "20 lbs," instead of jumping straight to a mousy little "nooo..." But just how one misheard "one" with "twenty" is anyones guess. Also, so what if someone asked for 25 lbs? There was an entire THING of brand new ham still in shrink wrap looking to be at least 20 lbs; you're in the business of selling food, so sell it! My past experiences with Staters deli has mostly been professional encounters. But today's was very weird, and left an odd impression on me. Maybe their hiring standards aren't as strict as the past. Writing reviews for big chains on Yelp is pretty useless, but I thought I'd share my odd deli encounter here for some stranger to scroll through as they search for grocery store reviews.

Bald p**** forced me to wear a mask while the entire store and employee did not have a mask, called me out in front of everyone. On top of that when I pointed out the people not wearing mask. He brushed it off and continued to work. Take your money somewhere else. Hope that MFer gets fired.

I grew up in this area. After graduating from high school, I left my parents' home and have lived away for decades. Now, a father myself, we decided to move back to where I've had so many positive childhood memories. The areas retailers have definitely had a demographic shift, but I was glad to see that Stater Bros is still sticking it out for those of us who need non-ethnic staples. This review is based on the second time in a row where I've had a poor customer service experience. The first time was very similar, but I didn't press the issue, or try to confirm the impropriety. Much like the first time, the cashier never greeted me, didn't even look up to acknowledge my presence despite my saying, "Good Morning" multiple times. It was very odd. I was staring right at her (I think her name was Laurie) and I might as well have not been there. Mind you, the gentleman and his elderly mother ahead of me were greeted warmly. I was with my young sons and they also noticed the passive aggressive situation. I'm not part of the "woke" crowd, I try to lead my family by example and I'm very respectful of everyone I encounter. However, this really felt like a discriminatory situation (I'm not gonna use the R-word, bc I feel like it's thrown around these days like dandelion dust in the Santa Ana's). Like I already stated, I grew up here. I made eye contact. I greeted her first--Multiple times with increasing volume (bc I was properly masked and thought maybe she didn't hear me--she wasn't wearing her mask properly, btw). I even looked over to the gal bagging my groceries in a confused way. I don't understand how basic, BASIC, human decency is now the aspirational standard at a local grocery store. I get it. This is America, and you're free to feel however you want, but apparently my perfect English, good manners, well dressed and courteous demeanor is not good enough to be treated with a baseline level of human interaction. Really didn't expect this just going to buy my kids milk and eggs down the street from our home. First time I just gave her the benefit of the doubt. We all have off days, and so I shrugged the first time off as such. This time I made a point to test out the strange vibe she was giving off and it was painfully apparent that she was intentionally ignoring me. Please do not "cancel" this employee, but absolutely take this as a teachable moment to re-educate, re-train, and inform this individual to be a professional and do the bare minimum regardless of her personal feelings about Americans who look like me.
