First general bank has the worst customer service for the banking industry. They are not professional at all and has the worst online banking technology that I’ve ever experienced.

Unfortunately, there isn't an option to give 1 star. Their representative Helen was not professional or helpful when she contacted me about my account. She did not have fee schedule details to share even though she was calling about fee charges regarding my account. When I tried to call the bank to inquire more information, I was unable to get through the call after several tries. All the calls went to voicemail. I will take my business elsewhere. The experience with First General Bank was very unpleasant. Do not recommend doing business with them!

Very bad service or no service. We walked in this bank all the workers ignore us, have to beg someone can help.

Came here for a couple of transactions, I have no complaints. Customer service was great. Got in and out within 15-20mins and all my stuff down. The new building is very nicely designed. There are 4-5 tellers and about 3 customer service desks. Bottled water is available for guests waiting.

@John C. Federal law requires Banks to report cash transactions over a certain amount which includes obtaining the SSN, occupation and other identifying information of the person conducting the cash transaction. No need to get upset at the bank, they are only complying with the law. Any other bank would be required to do the same.

Tried to cash a check. I provided two forms of ID and yet they asked for my social security number and what do I do for a living. Otherwise no check cashed. None of their business!!!

There are definitely two sides to every story. As a former president of this non-profit organization ,I was extremely happy with this bank. The employees were friendly, patient and professional . Every time we had a request, the bank responded promptly. They really went out of their way to accommodate our needs,waived our service fees and paid us interest , I should also mention that the bank is also very supportive of the community matters.
