The yoga instructor on Wednesday night was RUDE and UNEDUCATED. In the very first class that I barely knew the instructor, she asked me whether I had born a baby before, because my hips were too big…… I was too shock to respond. How could you, as a normal person, ask this impolite question to a stranger? SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE

Honestly was really excited to try out my first aerial yoga class, but I was disappointed. As the class went on, I felt the instructor completely ignoring me the entire time while I was clearly struggling but she helped other students :) lol

Loved the class at Violet Yoga on Wednesday nights, 8:10 pm!! Super challenging but also relaxing. Can't wait to come back for more. The music is very relaxing and the teacher was helpful in guiding!! Definitely would recommend coming here :)

I had a great time in the aerial yoga class with Sarah! I had taken some yoga classes during college, but this was my first time trying aerial yoga. It is a bit intimidating at first, but Sarah was encouraging and made the class feel comfortable. If you don't have a yoga mat, there are some available. I am now curious to try out the other classes as well.

Had a great time on a early Saturday morning, but it was really crowded. The instructor speaks both English and Chinese. The English wasn't the best but if you didn't do it correctly or posture was off, she would come over and help you.

This review is for aerial yoga class session. Conditional 1st: free class is conditional to if you provide a review on yelp AND purchase a plan. Reservation needed for select classes: I've looked on yelp and online and nowhere does it indicate you have to call to schedule a reservation. If you plan to do aerial yoga, call and make a reservation or you may not be guaranteed a spot (spaces are limited). However, you are more than welcome to watch from the sidelines. Studio set up: The layout feels divided between a semi closed off section vs the rest of the studio. There is a beam that divides the mirror so it makes it difficult for participants outside the semi closed off room to view the instructor's example. Not all student's setup will face the mirror too which makes it difficult to follow directions/examples. Instructions: The directions can be long and complicated. The instructor will provide an example with over 5-6 different steps. I've never been good with comprehending verbal instructions after 3-steps, and so she's lost me by then. But, after giving the ideal look/feel of the movement, she will break it down to fewer steps as students attempt the movement. If you make a mistake, she will try to correct your form; at times, she might even sound like she's yelling at you if you are not able to follow her instructions fast enough; but growing up with an Asian background, I understood she was doing it out of concern for my safety so I didn't take it personally. Intense Aerial Yoga Workout: I've tried many different forms of yoga lessons from different studios/gyms, and there's always something knew and different to work on for each class. The aerial yoga here is a wonderful workout for the upper and lower body. I haven't felt my forearm worked this way in a very long time; there's a lot of movements that involve pulling yourself upwards. There's a new level of stretching in the thighs as well. Bonus: As a bonus, the instructor will take pictures of your poses and send them to you at your request. I have not utilized this perk yet, but it is a nice option to have to visually track your progress. Other Comments Sales: During the first visit, I was unable to participate due to the full class, but felt this "pressure" to purchase a plan. However, the instructor was understanding that I rather wait for when I actually participate. During the second visit, I did not feel any pressure whatsoever. Purchase Plan: While most other places have an expiration date of 2 to 6 months, a set of 10 lessons can be used within a year. Location/Parking: Not the greatest because it's located at the corner of heavy traffic - Colima/Fullerton. Parking spaces are also small, but expected in Rowland. It's also closed off from the bigger plaza nearby, YES plaza, so entry into parking by this studio is limited and difficult. Final Verdict: Overall, I would give this place a 3.5. However, the workout itself felt good enough for me to purchase a set of 10 classes to workout with a friend.

Took the beginners yoga class with Sarah, she is a very great and attentive instructor. I have been practicing yoga for about 6 months now and my husband wanted to take me to a yoga class on our date night. It was really great being able to feel comfortable around the instructor and the class. I felt relaxed and rejuvenated! Will be coming back
