Certified mail got lost by this location. The package was delivered to my PO Box on a Saturday and I went in the following Monday. They couldn’t find my package and I left my information for them to contact me. They haven’t contacted me and the package was extremely important.

Unlike any other post office I have been to, somehow this post office continues to send back my packages. They know who I am, they know I rarely get packages, but somehow they get back or lost even though I have the tracking and included the PO Box in my shipping request. The staff are not helpful and say there is nothing they can do, and intend to continue to ship back any packages that accidentally end up here. Terrible practice and service, would highly recommend reconsidering how things are done.

They’ve gotten into the habit of scanning packages as delivered to PO Box or Parcel Locker, without them actually being delivered. So when USPS Informed Delivery tells you your packages are delivered, they probably won’t be actually in your box via slip or locker key until the next business day. Really inconvenient when it’s Amazon Pharmacy, and it’s a weekend. It’s also a waste of gas driving into town, only to have your box empty.
This didn’t used to be a problem until about four months ago.
Other than that, the workers are nice. The mail is mail.

These people really do their best under the circumstances. Being in the mountains can cause staffing issue in bad weather. Occasionally, a worker will socialize a little too long and hold up the line but nothing ridiculous. Overall a great post office, with a small-town vibe!

Five stars!...but then again I'm not physically handicapped. If I Was handicapped I'd hope someone who calls themselves a federal postal office would follow the ADA guidelines and make their facility Accessable to everyone.

All complaints I’ve seen in the reviews are based on things that are beyond the employees control… it’s the USPS, not some franchise you can request specific things from. Staff is nice and patient but the post office can use some TLC inside.

Every time I've been to the counter the folks are very friendly helpful there.Unfortunately because we all live in the mountains USPS does not deliver to our home so PO boxes are the only where we can get mail. And if we buy something online it can't get shipped to our houses most time. That's just something to be aware of and to plan for. If you put your PO box number in a second address line that makes it easier for the postal folks however they only have so much space in that little bitty office so they can't hold on to packages especially ones that they cannot identify an addressee for.

We needed to mail some mail today, and we're pleasantly surprised to see them open. There is no mail "moving" up and down the mountain, but, they are still open and receiving mail, it's not going anywhere, but, at least it is at the post office. Once the mail trucks start to move again, I am sure that it'll be a mad house. The service here is great

The Usps has ridiculous policies for folks just moving to the area. If you don't have a deed or your CDL or Car registration updated with the new address then you don't get a box. I don't know about everyone else, but my deed is in a box in storage during my move. So basically I have no place for my mail to deliver before I sift through storage with a deed that has an older name or go to the DMV to change my other docs first. Usps - this is a not a well thought out policy and this was not explained to us when we called weeks ago.
