* I want to update by review. I received a phone call from Darlene R from Apria Customer Care Team. She solved all of my issues and told me what the problems were. Hopefully I can now order my cpap supplies next month. Thank you Darlene.I am done done done. I went to order supplies for my cpap. I got a call a day later saying that my order could not be placed because Medicare wanted me to have a visit with my doctor to make sure I was being compliant. I have been on cpap for eight years! You better believe I am compliant. Anyway, fine. I made an appointment to see my doctor. Apria came to my door to take back the instrument because they claimed I was non compliant. My husband refused to let them in. I saw the doctor and gave her my sleep report for the past five months from the machine. My doctor's office faxed all of the reports to Apria twice. I called every day and they kept claiming that they never received it. FINALLY they said that they had it and had sent it to Medicare. Great. Now I can order supplies. Nope. Got a call the next day saying they can not deliver supplies due to documentation missing from my doctor's office. WHAT!!! I called again and they said Medicare is missing documents and won't pay. I called Medicare and they said that is no such thing. They got billed for an instrument and no supplies. They DO have all of the documentation and don't know what they are talking about. They did mention that Apria needs to bill it as medically necessary. Fine. I called Apria again and now they are saying they have no idea what is going on. I talked to billing and they said that they have no supplies ordered to bill. Again, called the main number and I could not get a straight answer. I get a different reason every time I call. They said that they will call me when they have an answer. Yeah, I believe that one. Get your act together folks!*Update-Just received another automated message from Apria that they can not complete my order due to documentation missing from my doctor's office. I can not believe this!

Poor customer service. Told medical equipment was on back order and would get it in a few days. Three weeks and no answers or updated so I called and told sorry we will ship it out now. Meaning they had it in stock. Had someone wait for it all day nothing delivered. Called back and told you will have come pick it up and that they close at 6pm. Get there by 5:30 after getting off work and behold they actually close at 5:00 and nobody there at the local office.

Zero would be too much, but I am forced to provide at least 1 star. My insurance requires that I use Apria for durable medical equipment. In 2020 Apria reduced its in-home support. Now they only send out a tech if I identify a problem. I must call to order any parts I need. And they incorrectly fill my order or fail to send it at all - they get mysteriously "cancelled". I can no longer go into the local office to correct errors. I must make an appointment, but they don't tell me how. They won't replace their equipment that breaks unless the insurance company pays for the replacement. I am now purchasing CPAP and oxygen equipment because they make it so difficult. If you must use Apria - good luck! If you don't have to - don't!

Requested a specific model of CPAP. They were unable to deliver in a prompt manner. Eventually agreed to allow them to send the model they received from vendor (could have been the specific model I requested). Received the older model, but it works and delivery was prompt once I agreed to accept whatever they had. On their direct sales site, the newer model is readily available.

I've been trying to return a bed ,and lift for a week 1/2 . I was told that it would be picked up on Thursday, I called them Friday morning, they someone would be by today. Guess what? No pickup. Can I wait until Monday. If this bed is not picked up on Monday, I'm going to donate.

It took three days, many phone calls, me actually going in person to get a walker that was promised to be delivered within 4 hours. Every time I called, I got a different story. And the person I spoke to either had no record of the order, or no record of any of the prior phone calls or miscommunications. Or the opposite happened - I was told that it had been delivered the day before and I should just look for it! The 3rf day (day before surgery) I sat in their parking lot for about an hour while they tried to figure out what was ordered for me & who ordered it. I connected them with nurse at Kaiser and they finally said we've got it! Comically, 10 seconds before they brought out the walker, my daughter called and said good news! It was just delivered!!! The only upside of all of this is that out of the eight or nine people I spoke to at apria, all but one were very helpful. Very apologetic and really trying to help me. Their system just gave them no clue of how to do that.

I want to see legal on this organization, horrible service, I was ordered sent a sleep machine- took a very long time to hear a response and did not get the machine, I had to move out of my residence due to economic situation I called my doctor and apria to cancel the request I was informed it was not sent yet. I asked to cancel the request and was explained that I will not be billed. Several weeks later I’m receiving a bill for over 1,100 dollars. I tried talking with them several times and at one time put on hold for one hour and no resolution. I don’t like to make a fuss especially when this can be handled civil- I never received the machine. If the company sees this message please fix asap! Call me when resolved.

I have been an Apria customer for 10+ years receiving CPAP supplies 2x year. I'm on Medicate but changed my suppl insurance Jan 2023. I informed Apria in March. In mid-June, I placed an order for my normal supplies. It has been a nightmare! I have spoken to at least 6-7 reps & all my orders are cancelled. My new Dr has submitted authorization. Two days ago, I was told a supv or mgr would call me after I placed another csll. I have NOT received s call back in 48 hrs. I feel sorry for those who need urgent health care deliveries from this company.

Horrible delivery service. Waiting for two days for oxygen tank delivery, and they keep delaying and delaying the ETA. Their excuse is that they are low on drivers and have a high demand. Not acceptable! Then hire more drivers. Don't keep ill people waiting and waiting and waiting.

Thank you Michael for all the help. the guys do long hours and deal with a lot, especially the drivers. Customer service over phone was a headache, but this driver Michael really come as a human and served us well. thank you Apria for providing life saving service to my grandmother

Kaiser ordered me a hospital grade breastpump, the day before my discharge. I got a call and text during my discharge - saying my pump was to be delivered to my house address that afternoon. Get home, nothing delivered. The whole day goes by and nothing. I call Apria, they tell me the DME had attempted to be delivered to Kaiser and it has been rerouted for delivery to my house the next day (Saturday) by 2pm. Saturday comes and goes. No pump is delivered. My pump wasn’t delivered unto Sunday late afternoon. I can only imagine if the DME were life sustaining equipment… people who have to depend on Apria would have their lives in danger. For being such a big company, who’s equipment is not cheap, I would have thought they’d have better service.

I don’t like to leave negative reviews but this is an exception. Everything was disorganized, they told me my emergency shipment would come same day at 6pm then it still hadn’t come. I called and they said it would arrive between 7-10:30pm, I waited all night and it still never came. Called in the morning and they said they don’t even ship past 9pm so a terrible lack of communication. Ended up getting it a whole 24hrs later which wouldn’t be an issue if they would have told me their shipments may have delays even on emergency orders. I would have just picked it up the moment the order was ready. Definitely not satisfied with this experience.

I'm highly impressed with the speed Apria Healthcare delivered my order for a CPAP machine and accessories. Someone from Apria called me after the order was placed by my physician to educate me about the process, and delivery was made within three days. I appreciate their efficiency and client-focused approach to service.

My husband and I are very satisfied with the manner in which Apria arranged delivery of the equipment for my husband when we returned home from rehab facility. We received prompt attention and started using the equipment provided. Thank you.
