Absolutely feel like Avis did not honor my reservation. Upon arrival I was greeted with a very unfriendly worker. He told me that they didn't have a car in the category I reserved. He offered an electric car. I'm an older lady traveling alone. I did not want to learn about an electric car. The he offered me a pick up truck. Again.....what?! No! I had to pay over $100 more for a better car. I feel ripped off and Avis is a scam. This old lady is NOT happy. Shame on you Avis!!!!! Never again.

Return car at 530 as toldI asked the check in guy if I was good on gas.The right side window was dirty when I picked up and I probably got charged for their lack of a clean JobPlease call me or email.

Agent was fine. Car was dirty and filled with crumbs. I had to take it thru a car wash and vacuum myself.

Sacramento Avis team are amazing. I travel through their location quite often and they are friendly and attentive both at pick up and return of your vehicle. Not once have I had a vehicle that wasn't clean and properly serviced.

The vehicle was dirty and the driver side window dropped while driving in the early cold morning!! i had to pull off the freeway and latterly pull the window up by hand. Tis occurred over and over again. The person checking me in DID NOTHING!

I travel often and usually get a car rental. The AVIS rental I reserved was an intermediate-size SUV. The AVIS rental I received was an SUV, but probably the smallest intermediate SUV, and it was a hybrid with a full tank of gas but drained battery.I’m not sure if the size classification was incorrect (eg small vs intermediate), but my equipment barely fit, and only after I dropped the rear seats, relocated a cargo cover and disassembled my equipment. I didn’t have time for all this. A large sedan would’ve been better. In hindsight, I should have just asked for another vehicle, but I chose and paid for the size/class of vehicle I did because it’s always worked great before. I was expecting a Ford Edge-size SUV (that’s what AVIS said was similar sized), but I received the Dodge Hornet - an SUV that was smaller than a Ford Escape or Ecosport and more similar to a Subaru crossover.Also, the gas tank was full, but the battery was completely drained. As such, the range of the vehicle was limited to about 260 miles where my drive was about 280 miles, and I was forced to stop for gas, going out of the way in remote areas of Northern California just to find a gas station. I didn’t have time for that as I was working under a tight schedule and I was at risk of running out of gas in a remote location. I was at risk of missing my flight. Neither happened, thankfully.If I had seen the battery level before I took 5-10 minutes getting things loaded/altered to fit, I would’ve just asked for a different vehicle. But I was already running late, and swapping vehicles would’ve taken more time. It was going to get me where I needed to be, so I didn’t swap vehicles.AVIS—if you’re renting a vehicle to me, I want the vehicle with its maximum range available. I was (essentially) provided a gas-only rental with a half tank of gas or an electric-only rental with a battery that was half charged. Not cool.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with AVIS at this location. The staff, especially Kevin, were incredibly unhelpful and rude. From the moment I walked in, it felt like they couldn't care less about my business. Kevin's attitude was dismissive and bordering on disrespectful.Not only was the customer service terrible, but the condition of the rental car was unacceptable. It was dirty both inside and out, and there were even some mechanical issues that made me question the safety of the vehicle.Overall, I would strongly advise against renting from AVIS at this location. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere for your car rental needs.

Don't opt for the mystery car unless you want to rent an electric vehicle. Not very convenient if you will be traveling and need to recharge.

Rates are not better than anyone else in the top tier of rentals but vehicles are the quality of the bottom of the rental car tiers
