Paid to have a car shipped to this location from out of state. They were supposed to notify us when it got there but they did not. We were refreshing the page every once in a while and we found out that it was shipped ourselves. They said that they would reach out and they never reached out to us. We had to end up calling them to schedule an appointment. We scheduled an appointment for 6 PM and when we got there they said that it would be a 35 minute wait. We waited over an hour and a half. We walked around to the car and we found it and opened the doors, and it smelled overwhelmingly of cigarettes smoke so much so that our sons could not even go inside and look at it. I am very disappointed with the customer service, and I would not recommend this location to anyone.

When I got the car I was told there were no dings or dents. This was not true. There were some things I had to get fixed after buying the car. Luckily it's covered under warranty for 90 days but it was a lot of back and forth due to them having to order parts. They don't have any parts on site since they carry so many cars. Having to miss work to go back and forth to have them remedy these things was not my favorite thing to do. I took it to my trusted mechanic and had him look it over. He said it was in need of a tune up and had a crack in the serpentine belt. Again, these were fixed by carmax under their 90 day warranty. However, I don't understand why these things were not taken care of before they sold me the car. It supposedly went through an inspection but I don't know how it passed. They also barely cleaned the inside of the car. In addition, the space where the spare tire is kept was filthy and had some trash in it. I had to ask them to clean that space. I'm happy with my car and the experience I had when I took my car in was good. What I'm not happy about is the blatant lies or complete negligence of the inspection of the car before allowing me to purchase it. If you're going to get a car here, make sure you have your mechanic take a look at it, either before the purchase or within the 30 day return window just in case.

They definitely try to play you when it comes to selling your vehicle. We received a $5400 quote online for our Navigator and when the guy inspected the vehicle he claimed there was "engine noise detected" during his test drive that was 2 mins, yes I timed it. The car is in perfect condition but they tried to offer us $3000 based off the imaginary noise he heard. Our assumption is he isn't familiar with a V8 engine because wtf else is he supposedly hearing. My husband is a tank driver and does daily inspections on his semi truck, I'm sure if our personal vehicle had a problem or made an unfamiliar sound he would know. Not to mention we had our car inspected at the Ford dealership literally 2hrs before showing up to Carmax and they found no issues.

In November 2023 I purchased our 4th vehicle from this CarMax and I am sad to report that I (nor anyone in my family) will be purchasing here again. Completely unorganized and the sales personnel were disinterested in selling a car. I had done EVERYTHING over the phone and online before getting to the lot. I was supposed to be able to be in and out in 30min....drive the chosen car, sign all of the pre-approved loan docs and get out. I went in on a Wednesday afternoon with our 3week old baby, given the above info and the dealership was full of associates (no shoppers), all playing on their phones. We had scheduled an appointment and arrived at the dealership, approximately 10 minutes prior to our appointment time... When the person who greeted us (Jay Barboza) and subsequently handled the rest of our transaction... Had to decide if he could see us right then or if we needed to sit and wait 10 minutes. There was not another customer in sight. He ended up taking us right then, he barely made eye contact...He acted very disinterested in the transaction and my husband and I. He was arrogant and inconsiderate. (if I wasn't in dire need of a car at that time, I would have walked out) We were there for nearly 4 FOUR hours and left with a dirty vehicle (he said there was no time to detail it HA) that I paid nearly 40k for...I got no freaking yellow ribbon for a picture and he left us a set of key fobs still connected with the unbreakable dealership ring. The manager was appalling in his response. On top of ALL that...the financial institution I financed through advised me today that they also submitted my loan under a completely different last name!!!! (problematic for ownership, idiots) This horrific experience just keeps giving.

This review is about Brain Langlois. I have purchased over 10 cars with Carmax , I always get good customer service but Brain was outstanding, no wonder why he's the manager. He made my experience extra wonderful. Thank you Brain.

I made an appointment to test drive a vehicle here. They were a little behind, but to be fair, there were a lot of people here! The salesperson I worked with was Justin- who I highly recommend. He was honest, transparent, did not show me cars outside of my budget, and was zero pressure. He reviewed the car fax history and pointed out any accidents or unrelated recalls. I did not end up buying a vehicle from here, because I couldn't find the perfect ride. With that being said, I would recommend working with Justin as your sales rep if you are looking for a vehicle!

Would not recommend. Even before I got the car their online system located me in the wrong city. I discovered this after Id set up to get the car so I had to pay to have it shipped or find a different car after essentially making up my mind. They said they couldnt ship it to the location near me so I had to uber 30 miles to get the dealership to pick it up. Had a tpms sensor detect a low tire as I left the lot. Was just low but shouldn't have occurred at all if they'd checked it. Appears that they didn't change the oil (or failed to reset the computer) as that went off at 2,000 miles(right after the 1500 mile return window). While getting the oil changed the mechanic found a massive Transmission leak. Immediately returned it for warranty repair. Was given a loaner which was nice of them. A few days later was told they were going to replace the Transmission. A few days later mechanic said it was just a leaking hose and that they would not be replacing the transmission because it wasnt damaged. I find it hard to believe because if I'd been unaware or ignored the problem it would've caused the Transmission to fail. Had a very negative experience and would urge caution when buying a vehicle from them or staying away from them entirely. Also contacted me multiple times to fill out a review so I decided to oblige them.

Alondra Rogers the Sales Associate needs some work on customer service skills. Gave off a huge "I don't want to be here and I'm letting you know through my attitude" type of vibe. Being tired is NO excuse for poor customer service (I know I've worked in Customer service for several years). It's ok if your job sucks, at least try to be somewhat decent at it. Despite being a purchasing customer who waited for the 1 hour 15 min test drive time, who waited for the 30 min car appraisal time, who didn't haggle on price nor nickel and dime every single thing wrong with the vehicle ("It's a used vehicle, it'll have some problems"), who didn't complain at any point and actively tried purchasing the vehicle in interest, somehow still got attitude from the sales Associate. You're welcome for purchasing a used vehicle that was probably marked up on the price, thanks for the rude customer service? Now does that seem correct?

If there’s an employee named Vantino Allen that works there, he abuses dogs…
