Nice little Bank, The Sacramento branch vibe is different than San Francisco branches, but overall it was a pleasant experience, A little about Cathay they bought almost all the HSBC Branches in the US so they are pretty big now. Nothing really special or different than other banks just nice to have a diversified portfolio at different banks in case a bank is having issues (chase going on 3-4 weeks now with issues) hint hint.

In this bank, all the personnel and managers behave very respectfully and take care of the customers' work quickly, I was very satisfied

The manager is great… but the Asian staff (teller and customer service rep) are borderline racist with their prejudice and bias demeanor. Not every black individual that walks in a bank is trying to scam… have better humility and grace or find a job that allows you the selectivity of not working with diverse populations because banking is not it.

This bank is very inexperienced, we worked with their senior advisor on opening a business account to transfer a large payment. We were almost done when we were notified that they cannot open the account because our copy of our DBA registration has two DBAs registered despite the fact that we also submitted a business license with the name matching the first DBA. You can register more than 5 DBA at the same time in Sacramento and it will be $5 for each additional DBA instead of $20+ if you file separately. It was an official document! Wendy and her staff said because they have never seen this they cannot open an account and offered no other solutions. What a waste of our time and unbelievable lack of professionalism! Wanted to support an Asian bank but now I can see why so many business friends I know closed their accounts with Cathay Bank in Sacramento.

Recently I went there to inquire about business loans and refinancing. Even though I am not a client of this bank, Dave spent a lot time with me trying to understand my situation and offer products to address my needs. He thoroughly explained the loan process and time frame. Great customer service that I don't find from my own bank. Now I am considering banking there.

Bank doesn't take cash deposits. What kind of a bank doesn't take cash deposits? No explanation, just told me to go bring a cashiers check or money order and that it'll take a day to process.
