Felt incredible unsafe, Citibank could do to hire security. Would probably never go here again.

Trying to contact someone is impossible even with a direct number. Can't even leave a message. Trying to open a living trust account a week ago. No responce no nothing. Going to another bank

There are other credit cards. Most of them are better. I closed my card and they still charged me for auto pay for T-Mobile monthly charges. The money did not go to the T-Mobile.. How can the money vanish? Never again.

This is my favorite branch of Citibank! Why the customer service is outstanding. I recently had some identity theft on my checking account and they were very quick and very efficient to get things straight and get me back up and going!

Website for Citibank needs attention . Website shows locations that show them as open, then to find out they have been closed....very frustrating!

Very unfriendly customer service within the entire branch. Personal Bankers and Tellers. They look at customers like nuisances.

Tried to apply for a checking account where I would deposit $50,000 and they turned me down for why??? Apparently a credit score of 680 isn't good enough for them! This is a total scam them offering $700 for this kind of a deposit. Nothing but bad reviews of this disgusting worthless bank. Any good reviews are probably written by employees or stock holders. I would never open an account with these people and they should not be in business! Run don't walk from this foreign owned bank!

Im holding a cashiers check written by Citi Bank that they refuse to cash because its over $5000 . So I ask them why ,, Its our policy not to cash check over $5000 .. my response then why did you write the check? She said that's our policy,, I said Ok cash it for $5000 and give me another cashiers check for the balance .. we can't do that,, why. ,, you have to deposit it in your account and then we will cash it.. I said I don't have an account with this bank.. She says no? then you deposit it in your bank,,..just stupid Makes no sense whatsoever...

I have a credit card with this bank I'm trying to leave since US Bank blows them out of the water, regarding rates. I called to check on the status of my card "I'm connect to some 2nd or 3rd world country". They say I still have my balance there though US bank says they've been paid... then the service rep starts pretending like she can't hear me though I'm in the best location with the top most expensive carrier.. very offended.. why do these companies get to severely increase their profit margin by making it hard to leave them and using unqualified nearly slave labor in the other side of the world. Why.

Poor customer service. My father had a stroke and I attempted to add myself to his account via a power of attorney. The banker was unable to find solutions to the challenges we faced and responded with, "that's not my problem to solve." The then proceeded to justify this by saying I wasn't a customer and had no obligation to help me. As if managing an elderly parent's care is not difficult enough...

I would give them 0 if I could. When I signed up I was told that as long as I had direct deposit I would not be charged a fee. If I didn't the fee would be $12 or so. I had all of my checks direct deposited. Last year I was looking through my statement and noticed a $25 service fee hidden in my hundreds of transactions. I followed this fee back 2 years. They had by that time taken $600 and I was never notified of the change. I tried fighting this, but this bank is evil and they do not care. They will blame you and say they notified you and you should look at your statement more carefully. They did not care that this was by far the highest service fee in the banking industry and they said they could legally charge me whatever they want at any time. Switching out of an established bank is not easy or fun. I am in the process of leaving them for Schools Credit Union. During this switch their service fee over drafted my account. They removed my overdraft protection and now charged me $34 for that overdraft that their fee caused. A fee that I never agreed to. I did forget to stop automatic bill pay with Hulu and that $12 charge added another $34 fee. After 30 minutes of grief over the phone, I was refunded only 1 overdraft fee. Previously they had to agree to refund half of the $600. it is now up to $700. They now will not agree to refund any of it. I had a whole year with this bank in which I could not use my debit card. Target was hacked, they canceled my card without notice and then sent me another card a couple days later. The new card only worked at the ATM. I could not use it anywhere else. When I got the card I immediately changed all of my accounts to draw money from the new card when paying bills. Right away I was getting late fees and fees for declined payments. I had no idea why. I had a few thousand in the bank. When I called I was given a new card. This card had the same issue. I called in again. Every call was in the realm of 1-2 hours. This went on for a year. 4 debit cards and none of them worked. They could not explain the issue and offered no resolution. They did not care about the fees that I was charged on part of their issue. Late fees totaling around $200. Finally, after over a year I called in and they resolved my issue with a new card. None of this was taken into consideration when they looked into refunding my fees. THIS BANK IS CRIMINAL AND SNEAKY! They have the highest fees in banking and offer very little incentive to pay those fees. Go to a credit union and avoid the headache. I am urging anyone with a similar situation to post it on Yelp. Citibank only has a 1st level support and their supervisor. They do not allow you to write or speak to anyone beyond that. Branch managers have no power to do anything! Stay away from this bank like the plague! One day you will realize they scammed you out of a lot of money. It will happen a couple years into banking with them. Schools Credit Union is actually treating me like a human being. Citibank does not encourage your growth. As you grow and do better they will try to bring you down. This all comes at a time where I saved up enough for a down on a home and I definitely will not be getting the loan through Citibank. I couldn't imagine how bad they would scam me with that.
