Don't waste your time and money.4/24/19 judging by total reviews - the company did not take off, what a shoker :D Hi Ary, thank you for your public reply, but you have my email and a cell phone number, so I'm a bit baffled to find your reply here.A guy named Vincent Vu who left a positive review on here is one of the employees at the company, I still have the email in my email box with his name :P i feel so petty writing this, but this my experience with these guys was truly horrific and when I saw Ary reply to me on here and Vincent Vu leave a positive reply, I just couldn't help myself :PAnyways, good luck to you guys! I havent even received my bike yet, but the customer service has been fantastic with questions and concerns i've had. Rapid response in less than 24 hours. I bought their most modest priced bike, as i am new to all things bike related, but if i decide to upgrade, i will go to CBC.

So I really wanted to like them and support a local small business. However our interaction thus far with them has been a literal nightmare. My boyfriend ordered a bike for me from them that I've been wanting. A week goes by and there is no word on the shipment status of the bike. My boyfriend repeatedly calls until he reaches someone who tells my boyfriend he can go pickup the bike that night at what ends up being some apartments. My boyfriend takes the bike home and realizes it's not even the correct color of the bike he ordered. He calls the guy back and the guy says the one he actually ordered would be out of stock until January. So he could keep the bike or return it and wait for the correct one to come in. My boyfriend says he will talk to me about it and get back to him. I tell my boyfriend to just do a full return (the box hasn't even been opened) I decided I'd rather go with a different bicycle. He calls the guy literally just 30mins later. The guy doesn't answer, so he leaves a voicemail explaining it all. It has now been about a week and we still haven't heard back. It seems as though they are ghosting my boyfriend and now we are unaware if we can even get in touch to return this bike. We have tried emailing and calling numerous times. If there is no response in the next few days I will definitely be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. What was supposed to be a wonderful Christmas gift is now turning out to be a Nightmare Before Christmas. This is so frustrating!

They are the worst...Find another place, they are out to rip you off. I purchased an expensive bike because it was on sale. I realized after purchase that the clerk who did the transaction failed to give me the 20% off. I brought this to everyone attention (the owner too) but they would not refund the money. I was only offered an in store credit that I could not use. This is a bad store if you are smart go to another bike store....was their mistake and they kept the money, next time I will go to REI and not get cheated or jerked around.

Just took my new LA type 001 for its first spin. I should be arrested. It's a crime you let me have this bike for this incredible low price!!! The LA metro bike share bikes are a disaster on DTLAs streets but the LA just floats over the rubble, and every time I went to shift gears I put some muscle throttle into and realized I didn't need to. Accessible $$, sick with style, for still one of the best inventions ever. And thanks for all the pre-purchase help answering my silly questions. Loving this bike. You are my heroes!

I purchased a bicycle that was listed on their website and was pretty excited to receive it. I emailed them asking when it would ship and didn't hear a response. I picked up and the phone, called them and got no response. Someone reaches out afterwards saying that the bike I ordered was actually out of stock but they had a different bike that I could order. I didn't like the look of it so I asked about about any other bikes they may have had. They mentioned one that I was interested in and I was told to cancel my first order and pay for the other bike without any type of compensation for my inconvenience. These guys came highly recommended and now I can say I'll never purchase anything from them again.

Bought a black matte bike online from them and it arrived super quick in a nice box with all the components needed. I got a little confused with the pedal, but overall assembly was super easy!

These are some og bikes. Definitely better than a mountain bike for road use because it's really light. I was worried switching from a multiple speed to a single speed would be a problem, turns out its better than having to switch gears all the time, helps me get into a flow. A++ product.
