The Costco service has been bad for a while now. Checkers are like robots and some are rude. I have experienced bad service more green now than in the past. And just today, those Sox called employees who demonstrate a product or hand out samples are even worse. Abrasive, rude and insensitive. It's like they are saying...I hate this crap job and why should I cow tow to strangers? I ran into one today and she thought her product she was giving out was the end all be all to good health if a person drank it on a regular basis. I politely refused. But when she challenged me further, giving false unprofessional and unproven results if I drank this, then I got irritated and I challenged her to prove that this drink helps chronic illnesses like RA or even fibromyalgia to which she stated it will diminish. I decided to go on my shopping and leave this nut bag . As for value, Costco isn't the store to find value any longer. It used to be but since the pandemic, it has become one of the most expensive stores to shop at! I never get out of there without spending $450.00 or more now. Before the same products I buy there used to total $175.-$260.00 but now in 2024, those same items run me over 350.00 and as high as 500.00. Grant you, I'm buying mostly food items and Sundries. I'm also tired of the rude shoppers in my local store. And I'll leave that there. Selection of items has also decreased and what I used to buy there on a regular basis only seems to be offered sparsely. I now feel like Costco is ripping off the consumer. I am tired of the higher prices, lack of selection that was once quite good, the poor service, the rude employees who don't care, and the entire shopping experience. Why should I shop at a place where I need to take Advil or Tylenol every time afterwards because of the poor shopping experience, the rude employees and the lack of value?!? Stay away from any Costco.

Sometimes I have to wait for a few minutes. Always worth the wait! Prices very good! Service is friendly & professional! They have most if not all of the current vaccines!

If I could give a 0 star review, I would. Had the most terrible experience with this Pharmacy Manager and the workers. I request that my medication is in the original unsealed container because of the storing requirements of the medication and I basically got bullied and was told that they've been accommodating my request but will not do so anymore. Its super disappointing that my insurance through Costco will only allow me to get my prescription at Costco pharmacy, otherwise I would change it. This is the first time I've gotten bad customer service from Costco.

Edmund in pharmacy deserves a raise. He is the reason me and my family keep going to this pharmacy after moving further away. Truly a gem, goes above and beyond for the customers and it's a joy interacting with him every time I need to pick up my prescription :)

Beyond impressed. Justin was so helpful in getting me my meds today. It was a cluster as I just had surgery last week and getting a new script for pain meds isn’t easy these days. He called my doctor office and me serval times throughout the day and kept me up to date with great communication. I honestly have never had such a positive experience at a pharmacy. He even came out from working to listen to my horror story of this surgery and all the issues that have come with it. I felt listened too and cared for, thank you so much for being understanding and available to help me!

I've shopped at a fair amount of Northern CA Costco locations, but this one has become home for me. I really can't say that I've had a bad experience here other than battling the masses. Even with a heavy crowd, I've always been able to find staff to help me with an item, answer a question, or watch/experience the tellers work through their lines tirelessly and friendly. The staff at this location are proactive with cleaning and tidying up empty boxes for the shoppers' ease. From what we've experienced, they have done a great job of keeping regular items as stocked as possible. It's fun to go around and check out new items- both food-related and fun-related. We have had no issues when it comes to returning items either. They make this process so easy and hassle free!

The WORST COSTCO EXPERIENCE EVER ! My mother and I have been coming to this Costco since I was a kid and never have been treated this bad !! My mom was going to go check on the price at the merchandise area and crossed through the cashiers line and this guy named Sam who claimed he was a Supervisor working at the cash register goes, "where are you going with that did you pay for it",and my mom goes oh no don't worry I'm going to check on a price at the merchandise desk that's all. He proceeds to yell in a extremely condescending tone ,"it's my job to worry I'm a supervisor" and was so rude. My mom ended up not going to the merchandise area she came back to the clothing section to tell me what happened . She (is a Spanish native speaker) and wanted to go talk to merchandise with me to make sure she was saying everything correctly . We went together because I was mad and we went to the merchandise and as we're going the same guy points at my mom and goes that's her and starts laughing like if my mom was saying a joke or something and my mom went to go to the merch area and goes and tells a worker at the merchandise desk named Dalia that she wanted to check on the price and the guy was condescending and he was pointing and laughing and she goes it's because it's his job he's a supervisor so he has to worry and she was like and why was he laughing. She goes yeah he could've said it better but it's his job to question everything and you can't bring merchandise over here anyway. My mom and I said we should file a complaint and we are to corporate that was so rude we've been coming to this Costco for more than 15 years.My mom informed them she felt like the worst person in the world the way he was talking to her and raising his voice and she went oh yeah he said it wrong but it's his job he has to be like that and she goes but I'm going to the MERCHANDISE AREA I'm not even CLOSE To the exit and I always come here to ask for prices if they're not listed and she goes yeah I got it. and then I said yeah it's condescending and rude to treat people like that and my mom walked away. Before I walked away I was like that's so rude and it was wrong there was no need to laugh or point at my mother and the guy next to Delia who was working their too named Tony says to me,"with that being said were you going to purchase that merchandise or did you have more", and I was like we came TO CHECK on the price as we stated we were still shopping we just came to check on the price of this item and he goes oh and I walked away I couldn't take the rudeness any longer! I talked to a higher up manager named Anthony he said he would review the camera footage to see the laughing and rudeness going on and I got corporates number. Anthony informed me that Sam in fact was NOT a supervisor it was Tom the guy I talked to who was a supervisor. Anthony was not rude so I don't blame him at all. He said they would call me back so I'll Update once that happens , he also gave me corporates number and was very understanding unfortunately his employees were not and hopefully he talks to them he was attempting to pay for our Costco trip but we said no because that's not the point. We just want people to not be treated like that ever again.

Customer service at this location is terrible. I was using the self-check out. When it came time to pay I tried to use a gift card. I got a message that I needed assistant from a rep. The one who came asked me if I knew how to use the self checkout. I stood there for a moment and told him his comment was awfully rude. He just walked away. Very unfortunate but that's this Costco for you.

This review is for the service at the tire center. I had scheduled an appointment for 10am to get my tires installed and it took over 2 hours to get it installed. How does that make sense when you have an appointment?!? Whats the point of setting up the appointment if they dont work on your car at the time of your appointment?!? It was about 11 when they finally started working on the car.

I always love costco but this location was prob the worst. First there was a fight in the parking lot and seemed like a ghetto location. And yes their parking and gas station designs are bad. Staff Mike C at the register could not have been more unfriendly and incompetent. I'm sticking to Roseville location.

THE MOST GHETTO AND UNPROFESSIONAL Costco of the entire Sacramento! Place gets jam packed with all kinds of funny characters and REAL CRAZY af customers holy crap plus the Costco workers here in this part of Sac have ZERO concept of customer service being that this warehouse is in the city and is the most busiest they feel they can talk rudely to customers and get away with it because management does nothing, act entitled and asking for help is like asking them for a huge favor. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Go to the Costco in Citrus Heights, Roseville or Folsom and you'll thank me later and know what Costco's actual high standards of customer service truly is. Employees are poorly trained here by incompetent management. Customers/clientele is also rude here- you'll feel like shopping in South America at this Costco with screaming kids, shoppers overdosing on samples and lack of considerate manners and hygiene. Parking lot is a disaster. No thanks! Place has the craziest shoppers I have ever witnessed! Report this Costco to Costco HQ in Washington - 1-800-774-2678!
