The pharmacist and staff at this location are amazing. I have three young kids with various medical conditions, and it seems like we always need urgent medication. The pharmacist is proactive about things like calling the doctors office, special ordering, and making sure things are covered by insurance. Everyone is kind and friendly. In so many stressful situations, they are the one reliable part of our care team! I’m grateful.

CVS pharmacy on North Freeway Blvd is very efficient. I’ve had no issues whatsoever. Pharmacy technician Daisy is the best! She has always made me feel special and helped me find lower costs on my insulin if she could. She is a real angel in my book.

Horrible experience.. inspite of having the medication order for my child they weren’t ready until next day and also I had to wait for about 20 min … after waiting the pharmacist asked to take the long line again .. horrible Customer service

Everyone are always pleasant and understanding when my wife and I come to this location for our pharmacy needs. We’ve been coming to this location for approximately 4 years now. The WHOLE staff is exceptional. Daisy is amazing. My only small complaint is the area for medical shots should be sanitized. The counter, the seat etc periodically. It should be more private as well and the pharmacist should practice to clean/sanitize hands at all times before and after conducting the service for shots. So much germs going around. But we still love the professional demeanor of all the staff here. Thank you.

I don't know why I've used this CVS as my main pharmacy for so long but I'm never coming back. Always a longer wait time for medication and even pick up compared to other ones in the area. My final straw was when they refused to accept a goodrx coupon for a medication which they had before a few months prior??I don't recommend this CVS. Do yourself a favor and save your time and energy by going to another pharmacy.

The Staff is great. Helpful and courteous. The Corp. side not so much. They’ve cut the staff’s hours. They need a Person to answer customer “service”! I spent over 30 minutes trying to renew 3 prescriptions. It didn’t get done because the calls were dropped twice and then a person in customer service told me that they were closed for lunch. Once I get these prescriptions (if I ever do) I’m changing pharmacies! HORRIBLE!

They don't start getting your medication ready until you check in. My doctor sent my daughters prescription at 12:30pm, I showed up at 4:30pm and it still wasn't ready. Every time I go I have to wait 20 minutes for every prescription every time.

Went to try to get flu shot from 2 CVSs. The first one the pharmacist was like, his lunch was in 20 mins, so turned me away. The one said "appointment recommended" not appointment required. Don't advertise that you have free flu and covid vaccines if you're going to turn people away due to "staffing shortages. The pharmacist in this one told me "we don't have enough staff" ok dude you're the pharmacist, you know you can do the flu shot, but you're refusing to, ok.

They tell me AND my doctor last Thursday, “We will have your medication by Monday, are you willing to wait?” I agreed.Todays Monday. I show up and the pharmacist says “We never ordered it. You might get it faster finding another pharmacy. If you want I can call around and find out who has it now and call you back?” I agreed. Never got that call back.Thanks for wasting my time gents.. it’s not medicine or anything. No worries. First and last time I try this pharmacy. ?

I went into the CVS downtown Sacramento.. the boy that waited on me was extremely rude. Then, a dirty homeless man sets his dirty dog on the conveyer like it was his couch at home. I took a pic, if I can put it on here I will. I told the cashier that that was absolutely disgusting. She said " oh I know" and proceeded to Look for something to clean it off with. I about puked. What is this world coming to?? Who knows if that dog doesn't have scabies or fleas or tics. I will do my business at Walgreens from now on. All my scripts will go there as well.

"it takes too long to get an answer when i call." cvs is a big cooperation and especially on the weekend should have staffs at least to help answer phones. people with disability have to drive to the pharmacy cause you gotta wait on the phone for awhile and hang up and call again at least 4times. that is ridiculous cvs charges our insurance for our medication thats how we need to speak to someone in the pharmacy about our medication especially when we are texted about our medication being refilled then texted again and say otherwise, so we have to call the pharmacy to verify and no answer . cvs cooperation needs to be courteous. i'm no complaining about cvs pharmacy staffs @ n. freeway , they are great staffs and very helpful . if you find yourself consistently falling short of that goal, you may need to consider increasing your staffing. you could also leverage technology.

The CVS inside Target on N. Freeway is, by far, the best pharmacy I've visited. The only downside is that they're not open too late but their customer service (at least in my experience as a Hispanic male) has been beyond satisfactory. They're always great to me, every single staff person. I usually come drop my prescriptions off and shop while they get it ready and then come pick them up. I haven't had a single issue with them in 4 years besides any issues with insurance that I can't blame the CVS staff for.
