No acknowledgement walking in, neither while browsing. Also no prices on anything. If you don’t have anyone willing to assist customers, don’t provide prices and have QR codes on items that take you to a dead webpages- don’t expect people to spend money there. Don’t waste your time here.

As the CEO of two very successful businesses, I would never treat our customers the way I was treated at DALTILE.I arrived at the DALTILE showroom located off Horn in Sacramento, and my experience was disappointing right from the start. As soon as I stepped inside, I encountered a dismissive attitude coupled with what felt like racial profiling. It seemed that my ethnicity led to an immediate assumption from Pam Simox, a salesperson, that I was not a serious buyer with any financial means. Despite my presence, no one greeted me; in fact, I felt completely ignored as I wandered through the showroom for about five minutes.
Finally, Pam approached me, seemingly annoyed, and asked what I needed. When I expressed my interest in exploring countertop options, she rolled her eyes and curtly directed me to the left side of the showroom. I asked if it wasn’t acceptable for me to browse, and she responded that if I was specifically looking for countertops, I should go to the back—unaware that I was in the midst of planning a full kitchen remodel.
Fortunately, I later encountered a sales representative named Bianca, who was a breath of fresh air. She was incredibly helpful, providing me with pricing details on various slabs and even offered me some samples to take home.
However, I found myself back in the showroom with Pam, who continued to exhibit unprofessional behavior. While she shared light-hearted laughter with a customer of Caucasian descent, I felt the palpable coldness as she turned to me afterward with an unpleasant expression. When I inquired about beautiful backsplash options for my kitchen, Pam dismissed my interest in a lovely glass tile and remarked that even residents of El Dorado Hills didn’t favor that color. I attempted to steer the conversation toward similar alternatives, but she offered little guidance. Instead, she handed me a broken sample and hurriedly suggested I leave, stating she was unwell and the store was nearly closing, nearly 17 minutes before closing time.
To anyone considering a visit to this showroom, my recommendation would be to seek assistance from a company that truly values its customers and treats everyone with kindness and respect. Thankfully, Bianca’s assistance was a highlight of my experience, contrasting starkly with Pam’s service. If I could rate Pam's service, it would be a negative zero; her demeanor was disappointing beyond measure. I did, however, find my beautiful marble countertops, which will be a stunning addition to my beautiful home. This experience served as a reminder that one should never judge a book by its cover.

Spoke with a very nice gentleman on the phone but when I came in to look for some pool tiles the woman who assisted me was pretty rude. She took her sweet time greeting me then dismissively sent me to search a drawer of samples. When I told her none of them matched the one I brought in she was clearly not interested in helping me beyond that and assumed I’d be ok with something that didn’t even match. Guess I didn’t look like a big enough spender to bother helping much. Even though we bought several hundred dollars worth of tile and supplies for a kitchen remodel a few years ago, I probably wouldn’t come here again for the condescending attitude.

Great selection of tile. And not the bland tile everyone else is stocking either. Melissa was so knowledgeable about options and really helped us narrow down the best choices for our project. The slabs are gorgeous too if that’s your thing.

Needed some tiles replaced on my kitchen floor and was referred to this store. Very nice showroom and everyone was very helpful. I was able to find my matching tile. Would highly recommend this store for any flooring needs.

Most contractors buy a little excess tile material so they have material on hand. With the major suppliers, contractors return the unused material [whole box] for refund or exchange to reduce project costs. Daltile does not follow this practice, so any excess material is construction trash and wasted money. I would recommend that if you're looking to keep project costs in line, don't use Daltile and purchase from Lowe's or Home Depot.

Daltile had the tile color and size I needed for my kitchen remodel. I went to numerous tile stores looking for kitchen backsplash, 4"x6" matte white with little results. Pam at Daltile provide my husband and me great customer service. She showed us exactly what I wanted and needed. I contacted my contractor who submitted order request. Their prices were excellent and I was able to return an unopened carton of tile for full refund. They also had a very large variety of stone, granite, quartz full slabs. Thank you for helping with my kitchen remodel.

Good selection. Pricing can be a little tricky.

One of the slowest places around for customer service. If you are going to pick up tile from there give them at least 90 minutes to get your order prepared and on your truck. A lot of other places to get the same tile and not such a headache. They could definitely be a lot more organized there.

Oh my Heck! We went to Daltile prepared to wonder aimlessly around the store, looking lost...and instead, we were greeted, shown different possible solutions to our tile dilemma. We left the store with samples of tile AND grout! Love the customer service, care we received, and Daltile! Thank you, thank you so much Daltile!!
