Doesn’t work. Scanned the renewal notice and gets to payment method and errors out. Tried it three times just in case. Charged me a fee 3 times on my card without taking payment. Machine is broken. DO NOT USE this machine. Try something else first, online or anything else.

I've been shopping at Safeway for 50+ years and this location is my favorite . Recently I had a problem with a product and Lizbete was so helpful . Also love to talk to my Safeway friends Lindsey and Jillian, who I have known for years .Neighborhood service at its best . Thank you to the staff at this branch for the amazing attention .Much love ,Chuck

I have shopped at Safeway my entire life and I currently live 3 blocks away from this location. Since the theft at this store is so horrific they neglect their actual customers! There are barriers, security and homeless everywhere! You can only leave through one exit and have to scan your receipt to leave the self checkout. Safeway needs to lobby the state of California to crack down on the lawlessness in our state! The criminals and hobos are running the asylum. I know all of the theft and security measures are costing Safeway money. I know first hand many of my neighbors and i do not shop here because of how restrictive and unsafe it is.

Things have become so bad there are more security than grocery staff. My bank even declines my card there when I tap it. I have to insert it and use the pin. I'm not blaming Safeway or the employees, the situation with theft and craziness is out of control

If you want to feel guilty for shopping, go here. Even the checkout lines have barriers when they are not in use to assumedly prevent theft by folks walking through unused checkout lanes with their items and not paying. They've got a Starbucks in there if you really want one. Good luck parking. Even the weed store across the street had better traffic. Pass.

First time visiting this location on a Saturday afternoon. Wasn't too busy but not a fan of the parking lot. It's a congested shopping center. It was hard to find a shopping cart as it's a grocery store which I thought was strange. The store was fully stocked and produce looked great. The cashier was nice and provided good customer. Please be careful and alert when out front. I did notice homeless people walking around, searching the trash cans, and/ or asking for money.

My last several visits here over the last few months there have been zero carts. Zero up front where they're consolidated and zero at most cart returns. Today a ton of shoppers were scouring the parking lot looking for carts. I finally found one in a far off corner. Some were waiting for other customers to finish unloading to get their carts. Some resorted to using carts from other stores, carrying piles of stuff in their arms, or stuffing groceries in reusable bags. It is a madhouse. Someone is going to get hit by a car trying to find a cart in the lot. And I don't know how people manage this task with a family of young kids, if they're older or have disabilities, etc.It isn't isolated or a one time thing or that it was really busy. This situation has been pretty consistent as they simply do not have nearly enough carts.

Safeway.. I think it's just this location but damn you are ghetto. Tons of homeless people walking around the store. And outside the store. What matters is, you sell liquor.

Five stars feels like a lot for Safeway, but hear me out.Earlier today, I was in midtown, and needed to get some cash, so, I stopped by this Safeway, just before noon. While walking through the produce section, I realized I was hungry, so, I decided to grab some fruit, and get some cash back on that. Made my purchase, left the store, and walked for ten minutes before realizing OH S*** I FORGOT MY CASH BACK!Obviously, I turned around, and raced back to the store at a very brisk pace. I said to myself, "Hey, don't cry. Even if you lose $60, you still just made $20k in student loan forgiveness."Rushing into the customer service area, I explained myself to the cashier, who immediately opened the drawer, and gave me $60. Luckily, she had been right behind me when I left, waiting to wipe down the register, noticed that I forgot my money, and kept it safe.Obviously, I was super grateful that she was so on top of her job, and that my money hadn't gotten stolen by the customer behind me (like happened to me at Wal-Mart one time). (I don't have the best short-term memory.)But, that's not the only reason why I love this store. I actually stop in here quite often, as all of my favorite dispensaries reside within the general vicinity of the Ice Blocks. This is the only store where I've seen my favorite personal size (but not mini) fruit tarts for a decent price, although they don't have them very often. Which is a shame, because, I actually like them better than the fruit tarts I've tried from various local bakeries. The store is always clean, the produce always looks fresh, and the shelves are usually well-stocked and organized. The floral department at this location really stands out. When walking through the front door, it's impossible to miss the massive bouquets of balloons and flower arrangements. Every once in a while, I've noticed weekend wine tastings behind held in the wine aisle. It's a nice way to kill time between lightrail trains, if you happen to be someone who frequently misses their train by one minute or less, as I am.Overall, great location, have never had any issues, love the great customer service, and will continue to shop here.

It lets you get all the way to the end after entering all of your info to alert you that there are no payment methods available. There’s a number they offer to call for help but I didn’t bother.
