I attended a wreath making workshop with my friend and the tickets were $71 each. The event specifically said you were going to learn how to make a wreath. Upon arriving to the event it was unorganized, you couldn’t hear the lady trying to give direction, and we certainly did not learn how to make a wreath and we were just offered decorations and wire which they ran out of. I could have done that at home for way less $. The bathroom was dirty, no paper towels, the toilet was gross, and I will not be attending another workshop at this place.

What an incredible space! This is my first time checking out the new location, and it is quite impressive. Soooo many beautiful plants! The classroom space is very spacious and welcoming. I look forward to attending a seminar or class in the future. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and helpful. I don't know why I waited so long to pop in. I'm inspired in so many ways. Fantastic place!

I went in for some valentines day shopping this year and WOW!!!, I have never been more impressed with a plant store and staff, the range of plants this store has compared to some of the others in the region is unmatched. As a hobbyist and collector more often than not I find myself leaving emptyhanded from "trendy" plant stores. However, this is not your average shop. Everything from A to Z adorned the tables, walls, trunks and trees spread throughout the shop. From massive variegated Monsteras, orchids I have never heard of before, and some seriously cool ferns I couldn't exactly know where to begin. Maxim ended up answering the many questions I had, and taught me things about orchids I hadn't even known of. I have not been met with for quite some time. I ended up taking home a few Dracula orchids, and some special made soil for them. Although it is a bit of a ways away from me I will definitely be back. And for anyone who is in the area go check out Exotic Plants !!! It is more than worth the visit.

I cannot say enough about this place. They used to be located near World Market and recently moved to a bigger location on Fulton Ave. The second you walk in you are welcomed with a friendly attendant and a beautiful aura of nothing but happy and healthy plants that are inviting themselves to go home with you to live. I spent a good 30 minutes just walking around the inside. There is an outside are which at the time housed mostly the succulents and at the time Christmas items. I came in on a rainy day and was greeted by Andrew whom was super sweet and very knowledgeable. I walked away purchasing a cebu blue pothos which will be a perfect addition to my already large collection of plants.I look forward to returning to EP and purchasing my next plant.

Super friendly storekeeper , knowledgeable, and had a spin-the-wheel for a free goodie or discount. I ended up getting a free plant :String of Turtles!!I will be coming back because there are plants you don't usually see and the vibe of the place was great There's also a take a cutting, leave a cutting wall as a cool collect-them-all.

A large selection of exotic plants and other planty things. There were some really cool plants that I'd never seen before. The plants were a bit on the pricey side, which is the ONLY reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. The salesman was super nice, helpful, and answered all of my questions. There are a bunch of rocks at the register, and you get to pick one out and it has a discount on the bottom that applies to your purchase. (I got 10% off.) There is a little section of little baby plants in 2-inch nursery pots for $6 each, so that's kind of cool. Would definitely return if I lived in Sac, especially if they were having some sort of sale.

if i could give 0 stars I would. Most of the plants i've gotten from here have mites. Their "sale" section is just regular priced imo. They upsell plants you could get at trader joe's for 3x the price. Don't waste your time stopping here, the managers are rude and unhelpful.

tried getting some advice about a plant and the managers were incredibly rude and snotty. most of the plants look like they have fungal issues and they also recommended me sphagnum moss for a succulent?! Take your business to other local stores like Public Land or Propogate :)
