This is not necessarily for just FedEx in Sacramento although it happened in their territory and service area. FedEx says they delivered an electric bike worth almost $1,000 to my daughter who was home and they never got it. The photo was so close to a door that it was non-descript. Filed a claim, but they refused to refund the order, and said to go back to the shipper. Which I did, and was routed back to the delivery photo that the driver took. This musical chairs hand off went around for two weeks forcing me to contact a lawyer.Update - my laywer wrote a note to the parties involved after I wrote in my description to him that that was most likely the fault of FedEx (as they were the ones who last had the item, and that the driver probably was the culprit because of the suspicious photo and the fact that my daughter was home that day with no knock or ring.) I did get a refund after my lawyer's letter. I hope you don't have to go through all this for such shady service.

FedEx driver marked my overnight delivery as delivery attempted but the business is closed and couldn’t be delivered but the business was open and this is a retail store, we got three more packages from other shipping companies same day but FedEx driver decided to mark my delivery as a delivery attempted even though it never happened.When I come to get my package in person to the location at 4 PM, the employee checked it out and said they attempted to the delivery at 10:52 AM but probably they mixed up the suite number wrong, then I said I checked the cameras outdoor and there was no FedEx vehicle at all in the parking lot or street, and then she said that they tried at 8:48 AM that’s not on the tracking history, the tracking history is saying that the delivery attempted at 10:52 AM but I said ok, let me check the cameras for around 8:48 AM and see if that’s correct, another false statement, there was nobody around that time either. They are marking my package as delivery attempted but the business was closed for an overnight delivery, this is unacceptable. I understand, there could be problems and the company may not be able to deliver the package on the scheduled date but you have to put the correct information in the tracking history and problem, horrible management at 3950 Development Dr. Sacramento.

There is no way to provide information for a delivery with a live customer service agent. Instead they ask you to manage online. BUT it takes 3-5 business days to confirm your address! By that time the package will have arrived on a day we are not available. Ridiculous. That means there's a great chance a package could be stolen.Where is your customer service for specific situations?

Lost my overnight guaranteed and time sensitive by 1030am package, tracking shows they received it that evening (late), next morning they don't deliver, call them at 2:30pm, as its still not out for delivery and they wont let me pick it up. But the do have it...
