I purchased over $17,000 worth of appliances from Alex in Dec 2023. I received a dishwasher the had an issue with the handle. I called the sales person and let him know about the issue and he said there is no return policy to call Bosch and have the item serviced. However according to the written quote from Filco, they have a 30 day return policy. i feel i was duped by Filco in no returning the dishwasher even though I called within the 30 day dead line. It is quite upsetting to spend $17,000 with a compnay and have them be untruthful about their own return policy. I spoke with Catherine who says she is the owner and she said I called too late that they have a 15 day return policy (even thought the written policy is 30 days. She was also extremely rude to me when I called her to follow up. I will be filing a complaint/dispute with my credit card company as well as the BBB. I wish I looked at their reviewes on yelp before this purchase. BUYER BEWARE.

I ordered a dishwasher from a big home store and they didn't contact me about delivery for 3 weeks so I cancelled and Dave got me the dishwasher the next day. Unfortunately the other store did not give me accurate information about size and it did not fit. When I called Dave, he knew which one would work and I had it in a timely manner. Very knowledgeable and professional.

I wish I had read the reviews on this company before I walked into their store. I purchased a refrigerator earlier this year and received terrible customer service. I would never recommend this place to buy appliances because once you purchase something and pay for it, they don't care about you again. I had never used them before, even though I understand they have been in business for a long time. Two months after I purchased a Bosch refrigerator (for over $3,000), the ice maker was not working so I called the salesperson at Filco who had sold it to me. Over 4 days I left him messages but he never returned my calls; I even left messages on the cell phone, that didn't work. When I finally called the store and asked for someone else, they passed me through to him - he thought I was a new customer, but when he heard my voice he was quite surprised, then proceeded to tell me he had been busy! When you call to report that your refrigerator is not working you would hope someone gets back to you right away. He eventually gave me the name of the appliance company that makes their repairs and a technician from that repair company came out and ended up ordering a new ice maker. A few months later the freezer was frosting up for no reason that I could see, so I had to call the store to ask for the name of the appliance repair company - I had misplaced their phone number. The person who answered said she wasn't sure who it was. I asked how they could not know the company they used for repairs, but got no response from her. When she finally came up with a name, I asked for the phone number but she didn't have that either. She finally looked it up somewhere, and provided it. This was incredulous to me that they would not be able to provide this information to customers. It's a frustrating feeling to not have any confidence in the company you purchase something from and have them either ignore your calls, or are incapable of providing information when you need help. Who uses a repair company and doesn't immediately have their name and phone number on hand? I will never go to this store to purchase an appliance again. If you want good customer service do NOT use Filco. I doubt they read these reviews or you would assume they would do better.

Recently purchased an older home that needed new kitchen appliances. I went to Filco as my first stop in comparing prices for purchasing refrigerator, range, and dishwasher. Greg Mace, salesman and assistant manager greeted me. I had dimensions and model numbers of the GE Cafe products I wanted to purchase. He went through his pricing and touted he has the best prices because of a computer program that searches other retailer's prices. He will lower his price and also give me contractors pricing. I left the store with estimate in hand and told Greg I will call him tomorrow if Filco has my business. The next day Greg reaches out to ask if I tried to get a hold of him. I said no. I shared with him I found much better pricing and an additional rebate at a competitors store ( shoutout to A-1 appliances in Rocklin).Gregs attitude changed and made me very uncomfortable on the phone as he rails into me about his guarantee for lower prices and "Why didn't I make Filco my second stop? "In reality, I went to Filco as my first stop!!!Shortly after the phone call I get a text message from Greg again telling me what he already told me on the phone. I have since blocked his number and I will NOT be returning to Filco. I do not recommend!STAY AWAY!!!

I purchased a refrigerator from them... they gave me a 4 hour delivery window. Call back at 12pm and told me they were 10 minutes away. I emptied out my refrigerator as fast as I could. Delivery driver stated he'll be back for the old one since he didn't have 2 minutes to wait and all I had to do was call and say my old refrigerator is on the sidewalk which I did. When I contact them I was interrogated instead of helping me solve the problem. The logistics are horribleA 10 minute heads up does nothing when you have a refrigerator full with perishables. Do they expect us to leave everything outside for 4 hours?.

Worked with Thomas to purchase a refrigerator that would fit in our kitchen. We had limited counter depth and needed a specific size. Thomas was extremely helpful and made a few suggestions on different models that he thought would work for us. We ended up going with Fisher & Paykel that had a smaller footprint. Thomas called Fisher & Paykel to confirm inventory and delivery time and to our surprise, it was ready and installed in less than a month. We're extremely happy with the new refrigerator and will look to Thomas at Filco for our next appliance needs.

Filco sold my mother in law a defective high end refrigerator that broke and could not be repaired. They committed elder abuse. Refused to deal with the issue and after a year they just said it’s the manufacturer. Never again.

My girlfriend and I walked in to look at appliances for my remodel. There was a lady in front and two men at desk. One guy said later there would be someone with us shortly. Never happened. Three workers in store. No other customers and no help. I was interested in cafe brand for three appliances. I told my girlfriend we are done here. Plenty of other places that will provide time. I wanted to see sinks, countertops, gas ranges, refrigerators, dish washer and fans. Sorry... I won't be back. Good luck... maybe thats why on a Saturday there was nobody there

My refrigerator went completely out a few days before Thanksgiving, no fun! I went into Filco the Friday after. I had searched Home Depot and Lowes and could not find the correct size to fit. Thomas Bass spent almost an hour going through model after model to find the right one. The following Monday, I needed to change for the other option. He and Kathryn worked to get the new one ordered with day after Thanksgiving pricing. I will be purchasing the rest of my appliances in the near future and will go to Filco and Thomas Bass. And he takes care of homeless cats ? ?.

Wow, what a disappointment. Bought a range over a weeks ago. Set up delivery and installation. You would think that Filco would get it ready so that their recommended outside installer could simply pick it up, deliver and install. Again, you would "think" it would be that simple, especially with the amount of time from the date of purchase to scheduled install. Guess what, on the day of install, we get a call from a frustrated installer who said the salesperson never got the delivery ready for pick-up. Are you kidding me.....what kind of service is this? Felt bad for the installer since they said this is not the first time this has happened with this specific Filco employee and he was as unhappy as we were for the waste of his time. No oven, no explanation from Filco, no manager available when called, and was told there is no General Manager for this Filco that I could contact later. Basically, just blown off. You know, s*** happens, and if this was an unusual occurrence or some emergency came up, I would understand. Being that the installer was frustrated over this situation that has happened more than once, says that something is lacking in Filco's service. Now we will have to wait another week for Filco to "get it together". Warning, DON'T use this appliance store no matter how good the deal looks. It's just not worth the frustration and half the stuff they advertise is never in stock. I would have left zero stars, but I had to choose atleast one to post.

I bough a Whirlpool refrigerator Jan 2021 from David Neal, he sold me a 5year extended warranty. This year 2022 Sept. the refer. went out. I went to Filco to get it fix. I was told by the manger they discontinue that warranty CO. in 2020 and they couldn't do anything for me. Even though David Neal sold it to me in 2021. The manger Mrs. Martinez said even though David Neal sold it to me Filco wasn't responsible for the repair $480.18. I 've been buying appliance from Filco since the late 70ies. It's shame that they won't make it right. Yep you won't see me in there, they got me once but they won't get ME TWICE. I had to give Filco one star to print this review.

A family member purchased a very expensive refrigerator. They missed placed the order and gave multiple excuses as to why and when it would be delivered!! The person on the phone was very rude and condescending!!! They received their payment immediately but we have not received the refrigerator… going on a month now. He said they’re is one in main warehouse but it has to wait for a full truck before it can be delivered to their warehouse or it has to go to the port of Stockton from woodland and we’re in sacramento??? Hmmm… would think since they messed up that they would send a truck to woodland and deliver immediately… but NO… poor customer service and warehouse management!!

David Neal is the man. Very patient and provided excellent customer service. He can definitely get you a bundle deal. We were looking for a range top, dishwasher, range hood, refrigerator, and microwave/oven combo. The store has a lot of appliances to see in person. David printed out a price sheet for all of the appliances for us.
