I had gotten into a parking incident with my vehicle and there was a dent on the driver's side. The dent went pretty deep and created some cracks along the surface. I took my vehicle here and Claudio gave me an estimate. After gathering other estimates, I decided to come here and have the damage repaired. Claudio was timely, concise, honest, and skillful with the repair. Once it was complete, the damage was completely unnoticeable. I highly recommend this location for any physical damage to your car.

I just got my gas cap (the small circular or square door that opens and closes on the gas gauge) fixed with Franklin Collision. This will undoubtedly be my first and last experience giving them my business.When I first brought my car in, their price was 300$, which is steep, but to save the hassle of finding a cheaper place around town I went with it. I left my car there and a day or two later, they called me saying that the wrong part was ordered, and they now have to order the correct part. Annoying, sure, but not the end of the world.So I get there today and the work is all done, and the bill they gave me showed 375$ dollars, which is not what I agreed to and is really outlandish to fix just a gas cap. So they charged me an extra 75$ even though they were the ones who ordered the wrong part, not me. I shouldn’t have to pay extra money because of their mistake. So it just goes to show you the horrible customer service at Franklin Collision. You should never have to pay for a car shops mistake but it is obvious this isn’t the first time they’ve gotten over on someone and it certainly won’t be the last.There are dozens and dozens of car shops around Sacramento, I can’t recommend highly enough going anywhere that is not Franklin Collision- I don’t want anyone else to be taken advantage of the way I was. I hope this gives you guys a truthful heads up of the type of people running this place, and hopefully I can spare you guys some heartache. I had to learn the hard way.All the best,Zach

My experience is always the best when I take my car into Franklin Automotive. The owner of the shop is so very knowledgeable and the Helpful staff does such a great job.I started going to Franklin Automotive to get my car Smog Certified, they do a great job with every need I have for my car.

I got some front end damage done by Claudio. My dad picked up the car for me and a** soon as the car is pulling up I notice the front bumper plastic "grille" is pushed back. Upon further inspection I see the drivers side wheel fender is falling off and there's scratches on the brand new bumper that just got replaced. I call Claudio and he tried to blame it on my dad saying it didn't leave the shop that way. My dad forgot to inspect the car before he left, however if the car didn't leave that way like Claudio claimed the work done fell apart on the drive home. Either way it's not got work. He kept trying to say it wasn't his fault but my dad drove straight home down franklin no stops whatsoever. Nothing should be falling off under normal driving conditions. Especially the parts you just fixed. If your work can't even make it home down the road it's not done right! He then agreed to fix his mistakes and it's been good so far. I wouldn't have written a negative review but then while sitting in the car I noticed my decking lever in my seat was broken off and MISSING. The center cap was there so someone had to have taken it off. I had no work done on the interior so it is really annoying that parts are missing. Again Claudio tried denying anything to do with it. It was not missing before and you can see the parts that where broken off. That's a $100 part. I wouldn't have written a bad review if that part was missing I am a very understanding person that knows mistakes happen but it was the second thing I had to deal with with no explanation. Update...He keeps accusing me and my dad of ripping the under shield off. What a joke. The finger prints are on the hood the bumper had scratches before even touching it. Man up to your mistakes. The car didn't even make it home with your work falling apart. Make sure you do your job right and I wouldn't have to leave a bad review. You didn't even know how to fix the hood latch, I fixed it today in 5 min. And you wanted to charge me $600 for a exterior detail when they range from $150-300 at most here on yelp. What a rip off. I have nothing against you or your business. If you find the seat lever in your shop I'll take the review off. I don't want to hurt your business. Just want my parts. I have no reason to make stuff up. You are.
